The other golems who were now free itched to join the battle, however Alec quickly raised his hand, signalling them to stay back, this was his fight alongside Titan. Together, they squared off against the Light Wolf leader.
The wolf no longer cared about anything else; it had just lost its entire pack in a battle it thought would be an easy victory.
“I’ll kill you! I’ll kill you!” the Light Wolf leader howled, its voice trembling with rage. Its bloodshot eyes locked onto Alec, unable to comprehend how everything had collapsed so swiftly, hatred burned in its heart, but regret weighed heavier.
It cursed its decision to turn back for revenge. Yet no amount of regret could change the truth that its comrades and kin were dead, gone forever and there was nothing it or anyone could do about it.
“Unfortunately for you, I have no intention of dying today,” Alec shouted, whipping his spiked tail forward to et the wolf’s claw strike in an head on clash, Light Claw and a Golden hue Qi covered tail collided, the wolf’s strike was reinforced with light mana and Qi causing sparks of light burst to appear as the spikes along Alec’s tail scraped against the wolf’s claws, halting its advance.
Even so, the wolf’s raw physical power was overwhelming for him in such a head on confrontation, which ended up forcing Alec backward, as he felt himself lose ground in the clash flying backwards, he raised his left hand slightly, summoning a massive pillar of sand that erupted from the earth behind him to cushion the montum behind the remnant of the strike he just defended against.
As Alec’s body hurtled through the air, an ice chain shot in from the side, curling tightly around the wolf’s neck, the sudden and unexpected tug halted its pursuit and disrupted the gathering of light elental particles in the air to perform a beam attack.
But the wolf’s body blurred with violent tremors, and with a savage shake, it broke free of the Ice chain which fell to the grounds as it surged forward again, appearing before Alec in the blink of an eye.

Another explosion resounded, however this ti not because Alec was being flung away this ti, but because of the clash of raw strength between them both as he t the wolf head-on, by gripping his Bloody Changdao that he summoned.
His current form made swordplay awkward for him, far less fluent than his usual self, however the weapon’s natural enhancents gave him the crucial edge he needed to hold against the beast in a showdown of strength.
The wolf glared at him, eyes burning with disbelief at their latest clash. Its claws, once its greatest pride, had barely left Alec a Tier 6 mage with a couple wounds, re surface wounds that healed almost after the long duration they have been fighting each other, thanks to the innate regeneration of his Drake lesser draconic bloodline.
Worse still, Alec was adapting to its battle style, he had begun reading its movents, countering with increasing precision. Enraged, the wolf lunged in desperation, clamping its jaws down hard on Alec’s left shoulder.
“Ahhh!” Alec roared in pain, his vision clouding as dizziness set in, but he endured, and in that agony, he saw his chance, releasing his Changdao and letting it fall o the ground, he dropped his guard, letting the wolf’s right claw plunge deep into his body.
But Alec no longer cared, his hands snapped up, locking tight around the beast’s neck as his own claws sank deep into its flesh, blood dripping, he bared the monstrous fangs of his bestial form, his voice low and guttural as he forced the words out.
