It was almost like casting ti no longer mattered, and a series of information about his spirit equipnt set was being transmitted into his mind, which he was quickly assimilating.

Though it wasn’t permanently dead, however; it would take a while for her bonded beast to recover—and not only that, it would cost her a fortune to bring it back to peak state, even after waiting for it to heal.

She thrust her right hand forward as streaks of fireballs shot toward Knight, and he simply raised his hand and pointed two fingers at her in response, sending shadow balls of similar size flying out to et the fireballs.

Knight had used just the right amount of mana and force to compress the shadow balls he sent, as the two types of energy clashed in the middle, sothing different happened—not only were the fireballs engulfed by the shadow balls, but when they exploded, only a muffled sound rang out.

As the shadow balls that had been swallowed by the fireballs burst into a cloud of smoke, covering the whole place and turning it into a perfect shadow ground zone for Pale.

“You won’t be getting rid of that easily,” she said as she raised her dagger, which was now lit with a blazing flare, her fire elent seed to contain a bit of solar energy—though not strong enough to be as destructive as Ignatius Blaze’s Solar Fla, which was a variant fla, but strong enough to grant her several attributes like healing and an after-burning effect.

She caused a small ball of light to fly up into the air in a bid to light up the area around her so the shadows wouldn’t be able to close in on her, as she believed she was making it almost impossible for Knight to sneak attack in such a situation.

She began to hear a sound, sothing cutting through the air at high speed toward her, she swiftly closed her eyes, using her ntal energy to pick up the location it was coming from.

A second later, she deflected a small dagger that had been sent toward her, as a resounding clang echoing as the blade was knocked aside into the air.

But that wasn’t the end, she soon heard another sound reaching her, the mont the second small dagger entered the range of her ntal sense, she moved again and used her blade to deflect this one too.

All of this happened in under two seconds—showing that Knight must have already shifted to two extre positions opposite each other and sent a dagger flying at her from each one.
