Suddenly, a string of sounds came from the dark cave. Shen Yanxiao immediately hugged the little furball in her arms and covered its chattering mouth.
Unfortunately, its voice had already e out, even if she wanted to take it back, it was already impossible!
Several rays of light shone in the dark cave.
Four shining figures walked slowly out of the cave.
When Shen Yanxiao saw the four figures clearly, she couldn't help but hold her breath.
Those were not human forms. Though they had the same body shape as humans, they were pletely different. They were bodies made up of the forces of elements, without skin or bones; only the power of translucent elements gleamed in their bodies.
Shen Yanxiao could be sure that they were elemental spirits!
Just by showing up and standing there, Shen Yanxiao could feel the aura of the power of the four elements.
The Lightning Spirit was made of interweaving golden lightning, the Ice Spirit was covered with ice blue frost, the Wood Spirit was made up of emerald green streams of light, and the Earth Spirit's body was flickering with brown radiance.
No matter how many legends Shen Yanxiao had heard about elemental spirits before, they were not as good as what she could see with her own eyes at this moment.
This was definitely the most wonderful work of nature. Their entire bodies were all made up of responsive elements; they shone with the brilliance of the elements all over, and there was a rich atmosphere of elements around them.
The four elemental spirits came side by side, and the forces of these elements mingled in the air, as if they could tear the air to pieces in an instant.
Shen Yanxiao held her breath and subconsciously covered her body as well as the small furball in her arms with her cloak.
"The dwarf who disturbs our rest should stay away." The distant voice seemed to e from a strange world, as if none of the four elemental spirits before her spoke, yet this voice reached Shen Yanxiao's ears.
"I meant no harm. I just strayed into this mountain. Who might you be?" Shen Yanxiao's brain was running at full speed. According to Xiu's analysis, the elemental spirits were not clear about worldly logic. Their thinking was more straightforward pared with that of the dwarves. Shen Yanxiao would rather pretend to be stupid than to directly show that she knew their identities.
This kind of blind encounter would not make the elemental spirits wary.
"You don't know who we are?" Obviously, Shen Yanxiao's method worked.
The elemental spirits now regarded Shen Yanxiao as a dwarf who mistakenly broke into the Kumu Mountain.
"Yes." Shen Yanxiao continued to play dumb.
"You still have to leave. This is our territory." The elemental spirits did not intend to have much to do with Shen Yanxiao.
Such a direct eviction order really did not give Shen Yanxiao a chance to start at all.
"Do we have to use force?" Shen Yanxiao gnashed her teeth secretly and asked Xiu.
These elemental spirits were very simple, but to refuse people was also quite rude. With them being so straightforward, how could she deceive them?
She knew that the unusual flame was in the cave, but she couldn't get her hands on it, such a terrible feeling!
"We can, these elemental spirits are not adults yet." Xiu quickly sensed that although these elemental spirits were powerful, they could only be regarded as infants in terms of the growth of elemental spirits.
"Not adults yet?" Shen Yanxiao was somewhat astonished. The height and size of these elemental spirits looked about the same as adult male human. Yet he said they were still not adults?
"Adult elemental spirits are ten times the size of them." Xiu spat out more astonishing words in a light manner.
