Vicious Wolf threw a meaningful glance at Demon Wolf to let him e forward and explain.
Demon Wolf took a deep breath and looked at Shen Yanxiao before he said, “Huo Xiao, do you remember two months ago when you came to ask the leader to find something?”
“I remember.” Shen Yanxiao replied.
“The leader, for this period of time, had been keeping an eye for it. And almost a month ago, he received an information that the thing you’re trying to find is likely in the Sun Graveyard.”
Shen Yanxiao’s heart jumped.
Demon Wolf continued his speech.
After Du Lang learned the whereabouts of the Skeleton Flower, Du Lang began to gather information about the Sun Graveyard. And after preparing for a week, the members of the Cave Wolves Mercenary Corps headed towards the Sun Graveyard.
Along the way, there were no problems that occurred so the members of the Cave Wolves Mercenary Corps weren’t at all nervous. Knowing that their objective this time was just some unknown plant, they weren’t too vigilant.
Before they reached the Sun Graveyard, they passed by a small village. At first they didn’t care much and only decided to stay for the night at the inn, but that night, after all the mercenaries had fallen asleep, a nightmare fell upon them.
It was unknown why the seemingly ordinary villagers during the day had turned crazy, but they suddenly burst into their rooms and started a frantic attacks on the mercenaries.
It was almost dawn when the mercenaries suddenly awaken from their sleep and were confronted by a group of crazy villagers attacking them.
For a moment, all the mercenaries were surrounded at all sides.
If those villagers were just ordinary people then it was nothing much. But a lot of them were actually born with divine power; just a punch could break an adult’s leg.
These people were mixed among the crowd, bringing a devastating blow to the members of the Cave Wolves Mercenary Corps.
Moreover, the members of the Cave Wolves Mercenary Corps were less than a hundred, and during that night, each room could only contain four mercenaries, and there were at least hundreds of villagers going at each door.
It was like two fists withstanding four hands of the enemies, the Cave Wolves Mercenary Corps were caught unprepared.
Almost all the mercenaries were wounded in the attack, and there were even four mercenaries that would forever be left in that humble little village. Finally, Du Lang took the six wolves to break the siege and only then were they able to retreat.
However, this incident gave the Cave Wolves Mercenary Corps irreparable damage.
As they retreat, Du Lang was also wounded by the villagers who were as powerful as a cattle.
Demon Wolf explained the whole thing calmly, yet his eyes were emitting unwillingness.
Shen Yanxiao listened and was secretly surprised. For the Cave Wolves Mercenary Corps to encounter this situation was too abnormal. According to what Demon Wolf said, they encountered the small village during the day and didn’t find anything unusual. The villagers were very simple and passionate, and had the slightest awareness of danger.

Thinking about how the villagers were still smiling and greeting them in the daytime, then all of a sudden they were waving knives at them, Shen Yanxiao could clearly understand the the shock and confusion of the mercenaries.
“Brother Demon Wolf, can you specifically say how you were all attacked? I feel like there’s something wrong.” Shen Yanxiao touched her chin. Du Lang was a very sharp person, if those villagers were all just acting out during the day, they couldn’t escape Du Lang’s vision.
