Lynn led the thirteen university students who had co from Liverpool John Moores University on a tour around the club.

These thirteen final-year students had been attracted by the high salary Lynn offered.

Besides, Swansea was also a very good city.

There would not be much of a drop in living environnt.

The annual salary Lynn offered was £60,000, which was almost on par with the highest average inco sectors in Britain, excluding special industries.

In Britain, the highest earners were doctors, followed by agents and governnt officials.

If one could enter a high-inco profession imdiately after graduation, that would undoubtedly be sothing many university students dread of.

Lynn introduced them to Swansea City's existing dical and scientific facilities.

He planned to build a brand-new training and rehabilitation centre, and that required the addition of many scientific talents.

All thirteen students had studied Science and Football at John Moores.

After looking through their basic information, Lynn decided to hire all of them.

However, he still gave them a three-month probation period.

Once the three-month assessnt period passed and they were formally hired, they could sign long-term contracts with the club.

...

The news that the chairn and CEOs of several clubs had co to Swansea City once again attracted dia attention.

Quite a few reporters gathered outside the club, trying to dig for information.

Major pieces of news erged one after another.

Swansea's "great clearout" was now in full swing.

Cardiff City's insulting offer to Swansea had instead been rejected by Swansea, turning it into Cardiff humiliating themselves.

The reporters found this imnsely satisfying.

The events of this day were even more exciting than the day before.

When Barnet chairman Anthony Kleanthous walked out of Swansea City, he voluntarily accepted an interview with BBC Wales sports reporter Cath Carter, the blonde beauty.

"We are very grateful for the generosity of Swansea City owner Lynn. He has pushed six players who perford very well last season into the transfer market."

"Once again, I send my best wishes to Swansea City. Hopefully, they can successfully avoid relegation next season."

"Sorry, I have to leave now. I still have proper business to deal with."

Anthony Kleanthous did not avoid mocking Lynn's suicidal actions in front of the dia at all.

The chairn of the other clubs also publicly "praised" Swansea City's charitable deed one after another.

The Barnet chairman really did have proper business.

He was clearly more shrewd than the other chairn, or perhaps it was simply a fortunate coincidence.

After Barnet, who finished sixth in the Third Division last season, failed to win promotion through the play-offs, Anthony Kleanthous had angrily dismissed their manager.

Now, they just so happened to be searching for a new one.

Swansea had finished fifth in the Third Division last season, one place higher than Barnet.

However, they had ultimately fallen in the play-off final and narrowly failed to win promotion to the Second Division.

What Barnet chairman Anthony Kleanthous was now calculating was this:

Swansea's manager and players had entered the market together.

Everyone was fighting over the players.

But what about manager Ray Kennedy?

If Barnet brought Kennedy in as their manager, then used Barnet to summon his old subordinates, wouldn't that be taking a shortcut?

Barnet, on one hand, followed up on personal negotiations with the players.

On the other hand, they extended an invitation to Ray Kennedy, hoping he would co to London and take up the post.

When night fell, Lynn, Mo Yuan, and Tony Benn went to Zero Degree Bar on the back street of Mansel Street.

Erin Taylor happened to be there reviewing the accounts from the past week.

After finishing her work, she ca over to the booth where the three of them were sitting.

After the three n summarized the day's work, they began arranging what needed to be done next.

After thinking silently for ten minutes, Lynn said, "Mo Yuan, start arranging the scouts' work. This is the top priority for the next month and a half."

"Tony, you coordinate the staff inside the club, especially the employees we hired today. Help them get familiar with things, listen to their hardware and equipnt needs, make a list, then begin procurent."

"All of this must be completed before mid-July."

Mo Yuan and Tony wrote down Lynn's requirents.

Lynn continued, "The work plan for the next two months is as follows.

"Before late June, I need the club's hardware benefits for employees, including players, to be completed.

"North of Oystermouth Road, that is, the residential area west of the club, I'll find connections and try to acquire so mid-range housing. So will be used as apartnts for new employees, and so will be used for players."

"Near the south side of St Helen's Road, we'll build a new serviced apartnt building to serve as staff accommodation."

"At the sa ti, the club's training ground will be expanded and renovated."

"Inside the club, we'll build a training and rehabilitation centre."

"Then, in late June, the team's recruitnt work will begin."

"By early July, our work will focus on player negotiations and settling in the new signings."

Mo Yuan was not surprised by Lynn's plan.

It clearly looked like they were preparing to go all out.

But Benn was extrely shocked.

Hearing Lynn talk about one building after another, those were all investnts that required real money.

This was definitely not sothing a few million pounds could solve. It would certainly cost much more.

After finalizing the club's work plan, Lynn had a little to drink with his friends, then everyone left separately.

...

The next day, while ITV Wales's news was still attacking Swansea, exaggerating the intense reaction of the supporters, and loudly proclaiming the foolishness of the club's suicidal actions, the report written by Walter Reilly in the South Wales Argus made the newspaper's sales number one in Swansea and even the whole South Wales region that day.

Sales were explosive, even setting the newspaper's all-ti single-day sales record.

"Lynn: The Sea of Swans Will Be Reborn from Destruction!"

"The Swans' New Manager Has Been Decided: Owner = Manager!"

In the article, Walter Reilly published the contents of his interview with Lynn and also gave his personal views.

He nad the two days "The 48-Hour Crisis.

During those two days, Lynn's personal ability and crisis-managent skills received Reilly's praise.

He also gave a fair evaluation.

A special owner who was willing to invest tens of millions of pounds into Swansea City and possessed a coaching licence should not be criticized as soone who knew nothing about football.

While eating breakfast at ho, Lynn read through the South Wales Argus.

Whenever he saw sothing that satisfied him, he could not help smiling.

Tang Yue lightly tapped his head with her chopsticks and said, "Eat properly. Stop grinning like an idiot."

Lin Jiajie, sitting beside them, said in a slightly dissatisfied tone, "The child is already grown up. Can't you stop making a fuss over every little thing and scolding him?"

Tang Yue imdiately glared.

"You said it yourself. He is still a child! He will always be my child."

Lynn imdiately put down the newspaper and smiled.

"My fault, my fault. Let's eat, let's eat. Hehe."

Walter Reilly received the praise and attention from the newspaper that he had hoped for, and his position within the newsroom rose considerably all at once.

However, aside from helping whitewash Lynn and push things forward, this report also shocked supporters by being the first to reveal that Lynn would serve as Swansea's manager next season.

...

That morning, David Livingstone had already finished writing the column he would publish the next day.

He continued to fiercely denounce Lynn, declaring that a young man with no managerial experience had no persuasive reason to believe he could manage a team well.

Ninety-nine percent of supporters also doubted Lynn's managerial ability.

But the new season was still far away.

Since they had already reached a ceasefire agreent with the club, they did not stir up any trouble or conflict for the mont.

...

After breakfast at ho, Lynn drove to the club.

Outside the club, he saw a BBC Wales interview van.

He glanced at it casually, paid it no mind, and drove into the club.

In the car park, he saw Mo Yuan leaning against his small BMW while making a phone call.

Only after Mo Yuan ended the call did Lynn ask, "Why are you standing here?"

"The airline executive Uncle Lin introduced to called first. I originally planned to invite him to lunch, but it looks like he's even more anxious than I am. Now he's invited out to sea."

"I specially wore a suit today. Wearing this outfit out to sea is really bizarre."

Lynn looked Mo Yuan up and down in his suit and leather shoes, then laughed.

"You idiot. He's anxious because you're a major client. He's afraid you'll establish a partnership with another airline. Since he's the one who's anxious, why did you agree just because he said to go out to sea?"

"If you said you wanted to sing and dance, he wouldn't suggest swimming or mountain climbing."

Mo Yuan slapped his forehead.

"Right. I'm the important one here. I kept thinking I was the one taking advantage of them. Looks like I'm still too inexperienced."

"Haha. Since you already agreed to go out to sea, then go. Anyway, it's just an activity arranged so you can discuss business. It's not like you're really going there to relax and play. It doesn't matter."

Mo Yuan waved goodbye to Lynn, got into his car, and headed toward the River Tawe in the city centre.

From there, he would board a boat and head out to sea.

Before Lynn could enter the office building, Benn walked out from inside.

When he saw Lynn, he said, "Boss, perfect timing. A reporter from BBC Wales wants to interview you."

"Another interview?"

Lynn roughly guessed that Walter Reilly's report today had caused such a sales sensation that the other dia outlets would surely be itching to do the sa.

Those within the industry naturally understood what was going on.

Benn said, "It isn't exactly a personal interview with you. They hope to understand the inside of Swansea City. The reason is flawless: the outside world is now far too curious about Swansea."

Lynn thought about it for a mont and felt this was a good thing.

At the very least, it could further increase Swansea's visibility.

He and Benn went together to the club entrance and spoke to the security guards.

The club gates opened, and the BBC Wales interview van drove in.

When Cath Carter stepped out of the interview van dressed in won's professional attire, she truly made people's eyes light up.

Her pencil skirt outlined a rounded, slender figure.

Her white off-shoulder camisole was cool and alluring.

The golden hair over her shoulders seed full of vitality, and her delicate features, along with the two neat rows of teeth revealed when she smiled, were especially charming.

Lynn tilted his head and whispered to Benn, "Not exactly soul-stealing, but this woman looks like a wild little cat."

They were all n.

There was no need to pretend to be upright gentlen.

Benn, whose thoughts had clearly wandered, whispered back to Lynn, "Boss, this kind of woman is probably hard to deal with too."

Lynn nodded.

"I know."

As they spoke, Cath Carter had already walked up to them.

Lynn took the initiative to extend his hand and smiled.

"Lynn. Welco to Swansea City Football Club."

Cath Carter's eyes flickered as she stared at Lynn.

She shook his hand and spoke in a soft voice, "Cath Carter, BBC Wales. It's a pleasure to et you, Lynn."
