Afternoon training continued as usual. Lynn personally took charge of the training drills.

When the players were resting, he called Villa over and spoke to him about things he needed to pay attention to during training, as well as the areas he personally needed to improve.

After Villa finished listening to the manager's instructions and prepared to leave, three cards appeared in Lynn's hand.

The P Cards Green Pitch Speedster and Decoy Runs to Pull Open Space, plus the S Card Deft Touch.

Just as Villa turned around, Lynn naturally patted him on the back.

The three cards, visible only to Lynn, emitted a soft glow and entered Villa's back.

At the sa ti, the card system sent out a notification: cards successfully used on the team's player Villa. They were...

Lynn's expression remained perfectly calm and unchanged.

Ten minutes later, he called Ibrahimović over and repeated the sa trick. He pointed out the areas Zlatan should focus on improving in training, and when the conversation ended, he patted Zlatan on the back.

Four cards entered Ibrahimović's body.

The P Cards Target Man and Tracking Back, plus the S Cards Outside of the Boot and Two-Footed Play.

Jas Cook was the third player to receive a card. Lynn sent the Forty-Five-Degree Cross P Card into his body.

Cromwell received two cards.

The P Card All-Action Runner, and the S Card One-Touch Play.

Pedretti received the S Card Aggressive Interception.

Danny Gabbidon received the S Card Long Throw.

Goalkeeper Glendower received the S Card Goalkeeper Long Throw.

Charisteas received the S Card Super Sub.

After all the cards had been used, Lynn continued his work as normal.

Two days later, Swansea City organized an outdoor relaxation activity for all first-team players: mountain climbing.

They set out in the morning. Along with the coaching staff, the squad went to climb Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales.

Wales itself had many mountainous areas, and Lynn wanted to prevent the players from becoming too bored with long-term training. After all, Swansea's pre-season preparations had started at least half a month earlier than those of other clubs.

Mountain climbing could change their mood, exercise their bodies, and also strengthen team cohesion. More outdoor activities were naturally better.

After reaching the summit, they looked down over the beautiful mountains and rivers around them. Swansea City's coaches and players took a group photo together on top of Mount Snowdon.

...

The next day, that photo appeared on the front page of the South Wales Argus.

Walter Raleigh praised it in his comntary.

"So people say Lynn has turned Swansea into a street gang. But this is the kind of gang many players would envy. The players do not need to worry about daily life. While focusing on football, they can also relax their minds.

"What Lynn is showing the outside world is a young, energetic, positive, and upward-looking team.

"The Swans are being reborn!"

Naturally, Raleigh wanted to fight a war of words with Livingstone in the dia. This was not because he was deliberately trying to flatter Lynn, but because he had chosen to stand on the side of the general trend.

Swansea supporters obviously wanted to see the team thriving. They did not want to hear Livingstone's attacks and mockery of the club.

Raleigh's articles made many Swansea fans like him, and naturally, he beca a journalist followed by many supporters.

Everyone hoped to learn from him what was happening at Swansea City each day.

On August 1, with the new season only one week away, Lynn gave the team one final day of relaxation.

The day after they had just played a friendly against Wrexham, Lynn organized a sea trip for the whole squad.

He not only brought all the players and coaches, but also allowed the coaches to bring their families and friends. In addition, he invited BBC Wales' program team.

In Swansea, he rented an upscale large cruise ship for £500,000, and then the whole team set out to sea in grand style.

The mont the coaches and players boarded the ship, they were so excited it was as if they were walking on clouds.

Cath Carter from BBC Wales stepped onto the ship today wearing a light, cool sumr dress. Many people mistakenly thought she was Lynn's girlfriend, and the two of them really were often seen together.

The BBC Wales caraman carried his cara and fild Swansea's activities on the ship throughout the whole trip.

The lean players wore beach shorts, bare-chested and showing off their athletic bodies.

They enjoyed the sea breeze and the warm, comfortable sunlight. So played cards, while others sang and danced on the ship, each enjoying himself in his own way.

Nelson showed off his singing voice.

Badenberg displayed his dancing.

Cromwell carried a chessboard around, challenging anyone he saw.

Jas Cook lay on a deck chair with a book in his hands, unwilling to put it down.

Ibrahimović wore sunglasses and sunbathed, showing off his physique.

Villa played gas with everyone on the deck.

Suddenly, Arthur Wellesley jumped from the deck into the sea.

With a splash, everyone's attention was drawn over.

Lynn had been chatting and laughing with Carter by the railing. Hearing the sound, he was startled. He turned his head and saw Wellesley's head erge from the water. His expression instantly turned horrified.

Leaning over the railing, he shouted, "Arthur, you bastard! Get back up here! Be careful you don't drown!"

"Hey, Boss, don't ruin the fun!"

Cromwell threw away his chessboard. After saying that to Lynn, he also jumped beautifully from the deck into the water.

The other players followed one after another.

Grosso, Kahlenberg, Charisteas, Evra, Gabbidon, and others all dropped into the sea in succession.

After entering the water, they treaded water and floated on the surface, laughing loudly, as if they had never felt this thrilled before.

Lynn turned to Mo Yuan and said, "Have the ship's staff stand by and be ready to deal with any dangerous situation at any ti."

Mo Yuan imdiately entered the cabin to make arrangents with the staff.

No matter what, lifeguards had to be standing by beside the ship. These kids really did not give anyone peace of mind.

Not long afterward, a jet ski suddenly dropped into the water from the other side of the ship.

Lynn was driving it.

Carter, wearing a life jacket, sat behind him with her arms around his waist.

Lynn drove the jet ski around to the other side of the ship and appeared in front of the players.

Everyone stared in astonishnt.

Lynn shouted at them playfully, "Now this is real excitent!"

With that, Lynn drove the jet ski off into the distance.

The players imdiately shouted after him.

"Boss! That's not fair! You've got the good stuff and you're not sharing!"

"Quick, go back and see if there are more! I want to play too!"

By the ti the sun was setting, everyone sat together on the deck, enjoying the evening breeze and a seafood feast beneath the glow of the sunset.

Lynn sat at the head of the table. He raised his glass of champagne and said to everyone, "This is our final entertainnt before the season begins. Once the new season starts, I hope everyone can focus on work. This is also your own career.

"Then, together, we will win honour and respect.

"Co on. Cheers!"

The club did not ban alcohol, because that was unrealistic.

Very few players never touched alcohol at all, and scientific research could not prove that small amounts of drinking hard players' bodies.

Only alcoholism would destroy a player. That was natural. Even ordinary people should not drink excessively.

The club rules stated: no excessive drinking, and no drunkenness.

As for the specific amount, that was sothing Kerry McConner would discuss in detail with the players.

Everyone present, exhausted yet fully satisfied from the day's fun, raised their glasses together and shouted in unison, "Cheers!"

While they enjoyed dinner, the cruise ship began sailing back toward Swansea Harbour.

...

On the return journey, Carter and Lynn stood on the stern deck.

At first, they were only watching the sunset together, but Carter suddenly said to Lynn, "You really are a special person."

Lynn smiled and asked, "What's special about ?"

"A special owner. A special manager. Oh my God, Swansea's entire squad went out to sea today. If the other dia find out, plenty of people will definitely tear into you. If you don't do sothing unexpected, then you wouldn't be Lynn."

Lynn looked toward the sunset that was about to sink below the horizon and said softly, "If you had experienced what I have experienced, you would understand how worthy of praise the idea of enjoying life while things are going well truly is.

"Putting that aside, look at it from my position. The average age of this group of players is only nineteen. They are so young. They should not live entirely under the cruel pressure of professional football.

"They should learn to enjoy life and find joy even in hardship. Only then can their potential be stimulated more fully."

Carter gazed at Lynn's profile, her eyes shifting slightly. Suddenly, she felt a strange affection toward this young, rich, ambitious man.

But she did not show it. Instead, she teased him in a relaxed tone.

"But your way of doing things will only make the outside world misunderstand you. It will bring more doubts and greater dia pressure."

Lynn turned his gaze to Carter and smiled.

"You have to distinguish clearly between your enemies and your allies.

"Swansea's allies are our supporters. They are the club's strong backing.

"As for everyone else, they are either our enemies or potential enemies. We do not need to care about those people, and we certainly cannot be influenced by them.

"Speaking of supporters, I have a gift that I need BBC Wales to help deliver to them."

"Oh? What is it?"

Carter asked with great interest.

Naturally, she guessed that Lynn was about to do sothing unexpected again.

Five minutes later, Lynn stood with his back against the deck railing. Behind him was the beautiful sunset where sea and sky t.

The BBC Wales caraman pointed the cara at Lynn.

"Hi, all Swansea City supporters. Hello. I'm Lynn. I believe you all know who I am.

"I don't know whether you've been paying attention to Britain's betting industry, but yesterday I looked at the odds for Swansea's promotion next season and for Swansea winning the Third Division title.

"It seems our club is not highly rated by the bookmakers.

"The odds on promotion are around fifty-to-one. The highest company is offering one hundred-to-one.

"As for Swansea winning the Third Division title, the lowest return is eighty-to-one, while the highest is two hundred-to-one.

"This is a once-in-a-lifeti opportunity, and it is also my gift to you.

"Go and place your bets.

"If you're timid, bet on Swansea to win promotion.

"If you're bold, then don't hesitate — bet on Swansea to win the title!

"The club will use real action to give you the greatest gift: successful promotion, plus a rich return for all of you!

"Believe . Believe in the club you love.

"The Swans will make every other club understand who the boss really is!"
