Life moved forward, and the football hooligan incident that had taken place in Blackpool a few days earlier was quickly forgotten by most people.

The thirteenth round of Division Three fixtures would be played on Sunday. On Saturday morning, Lynn sat in his office browsing scouting reports, reading the latest analysis on their next opponent, Rochdale.

By the ti the pre-match preparation eting was held that afternoon, Lynn and the coaching staff had already unified their opinions.

Through collective discussion, they had worked out the tactical plan for the match.

The players listened seriously in the eting room as the coaching staff laid everything out.

Once all the arrangents had been made, Lynn dismissed them.

After leaving work, he drove straight to a South Arican-style barbecue restaurant near the Parc Tawe shopping center.

Inside a private room, he saw Cath Carter, who had been waiting for quite so ti.

As the weather began to cool, Carter had put on an orange-red wool sweater. Paired with her sexy blond hair, her whole figure radiated a mature charm.

"Mr. Manager, this is the first ti I've ever asked a man out five tis in a row and been rejected every ti."

Carter laughed softly, her tone carrying a hint of grievance.

Lynn took off his coat and placed it on the coat rack.

Only after pouring himself a glass of water and drinking it did he smile. "I've been busy lately. Please forgive ."

"Heh, I know you're busy, so I'm not angry. How are things? The injured supporters aren't badly hurt, are they?"

Lynn shook his head. "It's not just about the injuries. The psychological trauma is probably worse. Supporters aren't gladiators. Anyone would find it hard to accept going to watch a match and ending up with their head split open."

Carter nodded. "That's true. But I think things will improve after a while."

After the barbecue was served, Lynn and Carter drank and ate together, chatting as they went.

Their relationship had beco much closer than before.

They were more like friends in daily life now, able to talk about work and personal matters in moderation.

Once they had eaten and drunk their fill, Carter raised her glass and said, "I heard that Swansea's supporter organization has gained a new mber. Apparently, most of the mbers are from a shipbuilding company controlled by Lin Investnt Company. They nad themselves Poseidon. Have you heard about it?"

Lynn shook his head. "I'm busy at the club from morning to night. How would I have ti to care about what's happening outside? But hearing you say that, I think it's a good thing. It ans Swansea's supporter base is growing, doesn't it?"

"Heh, that's true. You still have a match tomorrow, so I won't take up too much of your ti. Go back early and rest. Co on, this al is on ."

Lynn did not refuse.

After they left, he drove Carter ho first.

Although it was not his first ti sending Carter back, after he brought her to her doorstep today, Carter did not get out of the car for a long ti.

Lynn knew how much she could drink, so he teased her. "Don't tell you're so drunk you can't walk. Do you need to send you inside?"

Carter turned to look at Lynn. Her gaze suddenly beca hazy, carrying a familiar glow that Lynn recognized.

He was no gentleman. Before living this life again, he had spent his days drifting through nightclubs.

He had long since beco indifferent to this sort of thing. Seizing pleasure while one could was his life creed.

He was neither pretentious nor hypocritical.

He directly placed one hand on Carter's soft, smooth cheek, then moved it around to the back of her head.

His fingers slipped into her silky hair, holding the back of her head as he pulled her toward him.

Then he gently pressed his lips against hers.

Carter had not expected Lynn to be so forceful.

His movents were so quick that even she had not anticipated them. But at the mont they kissed, Lynn was incredibly gentle.

That alone revealed that Lynn was experienced. He understood how to control the balance perfectly.

It made her a little afraid.

She did not understand Lynn. She knew that everything she had heard and seen was only the most surface-level side of him.

But she enjoyed everything Lynn brought her, as well as the presence and brilliance this man displayed outside.

It was no exaggeration to say that although Swansea was small, it was still one of Wales's famous major cities.

Within the upper circles of this city, the Lin family had its own place.

Although Lynn had not taken her to many social events, the occasional etings and conversations with wealthy figures and celebrities had opened a door for her into high society.

Now, she was sowhat willingly sinking into Lynn's embrace.

As for whether there was love or not?

Who cared?

Everything happened naturally.

The world of adults was that simple.

Carter did not play hard to get, and Lynn did not pretend to be a saint sitting calmly in temptation.

After a night of pleasure, Lynn drove away from Carter's ho early the next morning.

He was not the kind of man who beca heartless the mont he pulled up his trousers.

Lynn was perfectly capable of taking care of a woman's feelings.

At seven in the morning, Lynn ate breakfast on Oxford Street.

There was a bakery there with excellent bread and homade milk.

After breakfast, he went to a nearby flower shop that had just opened and ordered ninety-nine roses, asking the deliveryman to send them to Carter's ho.

He also had breakfast he thought was good delivered to her, wrote one or two sweet lines on a card, and placed it among the flowers.

Only after finishing all of that did Lynn drive to the club.

The mont Lynn walked into the club's office building, he ran into Tony Benn.

Benn was holding a newspaper. When he saw Lynn, his expression beca a little strange.

Lynn asked curiously, "What's wrong? Is there sothing dirty on my face?"

Tony Benn handed the newspaper to Lynn.

Lynn opened it and saw the entertainnt section of the South Wales Argus.

The headline was accompanied by a photo of Lynn with his arm around Carter as they entered her ho.

Below it were three smaller pictures.

One showed Lynn and Carter entering the barbecue restaurant one after the other, another showed them leaving the restaurant, and the final one showed Lynn's car parked outside Carter's ho for a long ti.

Basically, the news had exposed the fact that Lynn had spent the night at Carter's ho.

Lynn casually closed the newspaper and handed it back to Benn.

Raising his eyebrows, he said, "The paparazzi really are everywhere. So I'm a celebrity now."

Seeing that Lynn was not enraged after having his privacy exposed, Benn smiled and said, "Has this little night cat been tad by the Boss?"

Lynn casually replied, "n and won enjoying each other is perfectly normal. Soone like you, with a family already, should take less interest in this kind of thing. I'm single, so I can do whatever I want. You can't."

Benn chuckled and said nothing.

Before entering the elevator, Lynn said to him, "If you try my kind of life, you'll get addicted. Correspondingly, your family will be destroyed. So listen to my advice. Better not be too interested."

Benn called out, "I know!"

As the elevator doors closed, Lynn smiled brilliantly.

But just as Lynn walked into his office and sat down, his mother Tang Yue called.

She gave Lynn a warning.

After Lynn's one-night affair with Carter was exposed, Tang Yue imdiately called her son the mont she learned about it.

To put it simply, it was a heartfelt and patient lecture.

There were plenty of flowers in the world.

Why insist on finding a foreign mare?

After living abroad for so long, Tang Yue naturally had a deeper understanding of foreigners' lifestyles.

She did not like Lynn getting entangled with foreign won, and she absolutely could not accept a foreign woman entering the Lin family as her daughter-in-law.

Because foreign won were too open.

Although there were many people whose lives before marriage were an absolute ss but who beca loyal to their families after marriage, in Tang Yue's heart, she still hoped her son could find a good girl who was pure from beginning to end.

For that reason, she even took the initiative to say she would find a match for Lynn.

Lynn repeatedly promised over the phone that he would not marry a foreign girl. Only then did Tang Yue finally relax.

After dealing with his private life, Lynn began working again.

First, he opened the card system and allocated the coaches' experience cards.

Over the past three months, the first-team coaches' abilities had grown rapidly.

his was inseparable from the "bloodsucking" model of absorbing experience from the reserve-team and youth-team coaches.

Lynn planned to continue this thod throughout the current season.

Starting next season, he would focus on developing the youth-team coaches — in other words, begin seriously building the youth academy system and improving the level of youth coaching.

After distributing the experience cards, he went to the training ground.

The match would be played in the afternoon. Before that, in the morning, the players only needed to do so light exercise together.

Then, two and a half hours before the match, they would eat.

After the al, they would take a short rest to ensure that they had plenty of energy for the ga.

At two o'clock in the afternoon, the Liberty Stadium was packed.

The attendance for ho matchdays was almost always full.

The supporters' enthusiasm was extrely high.

In the dressing room before the match, Lynn crossed his arms and looked around.

The players had already put on their kits and arranged their equipnt, ready to go out onto the pitch.

Lynn asked in a deep voice, "Where are we in the league right now?"

"Third!"

"How many points behind second place?"

"One point!"

"How many points behind us are Rochdale?"

"Uh…"

No one could answer, because Rochdale were in the lower half of the table.

Who would pay attention to their points?

At least Swansea's players did not.

Lynn laughed softly. The players imdiately felt as though Lynn had tricked them.

Ibrahimović curled his lip. "Boss, that question was bloody stupid! Who cares how many points Rochdale are behind us? Anyway, they're not on the sa level as us."

Lynn raised a hand, signaling for everyone to quiet down.

He said in a low voice, "Mm. And what does that an? It ans we should take these three points today, not let Rochdale take points from us. All right, lads. Go out there and blast Rochdale into pieces for ! Send them ho crying!"

The players' emotions in the dressing room were stirred once more.

Together, they raised their fists wildly and roared, as though they were about to march into battle.

Lynn walked into the Liberty Stadium.

Amid the applause and encouraging words from the nearby stands, he sat down on the bench, his expression calm as he looked toward the pitch and waited for the match to begin.

The starting players of both teams walked out.

When they stood on the pitch, ITV's live comntator Roy Wood said with great excitent.

"Welco to a packed Liberty Stadium. Third-placed Swansea will host Rochdale, who are currently in the lower half of the table!

"Swansea's form has been soaring. Right now, they seem to have reached an almost unstoppable level. They have just taken all three points from promotion rival Blackpool, and they did so with a resounding four-goal victory. Back at ho today, I believe Swansea should be able to comfortably defeat the fairly ordinary Rochdale.

"Let's take a look at young manager Lynn's lineup. Will he surprise us again?

"Swansea start in a 4-4-2.

"Goalkeeper: Owen Glendower.

"Defenders: Hanno Balitsch, Albuchets, Brunel, Tobias Rau.

"Midfielders: Jas Cook, Pedretti, Nilsson, Fabio Grosso.

"Forwards: Ibrahimović, Charisteas.

"Today, Lynn has set up a 4-4-2 with two tall center-forwards. It looks like he intends to launch an aerial bombardnt against Rochdale!

"Haha, let's see whether Lynn's move proves effective."
