The young n looked about fifteen or sixteen years old and turned to see Ling Feng. One of them impatiently said, "Get lost, you stinky delivery guy. This has nothing to do with you!"
"How is it none of my business? She’s my girlfriend!"
Ling Feng said as he stepped forward.
The young n froze for a mont, then exchanged glances and burst into laughter, "What a load of bull, such a pretty girl being your girlfriend?"
"What’s wrong with that? Can’t she?"
Ling Feng sneered and hopped onto his bike, "Jealous and envious, huh? Well, it’s useless. I’m just that aweso. Move aside!"
"Move aside yourself! Get down!"
Clearly, the guys were provoking him, blocking Ling Feng’s path, "Stinky delivery guy dares to be arrogant? Looking for trouble, are you?"
"What? Wanna fight?" Ling Feng asked.
"Fight you, so what? Lower class people, don’t even know where you are!" said one of the young n.
Ling Feng squinted upon hearing this, "Lower class?"
"Mister, leave these punks to !"
Li Fei’er dismounted from the bike, then looked at the guy who called Ling Feng lower class, "How old are you?"
"Fourteen, what’s it to you?"
The guy was young but extrely cocky, bouncing on his feet in response.
"Nothing much, but at your age, you sure lack discipline. Your parents didn’t teach you any better, did they? If they won’t, I’ll do it for them!"
Li Fei’er smirked.
"Whoa, the lady’s got a temper, but with those skinny arms and legs, stop talking so big. Just co along with us nicely!"
One of the young n reached out, trying to pinch Li Fei’er’s cheek.
"Get lost!"
Li Fei’er shouted, lightning-fast, she kicked the guy right in the stomach!
His body instantly curled up like a shrimp, slowly slumping to the ground.
The others saw this and imdiately charged forward with angry shouts!
Unfortunately, these were just ordinary kids, no match for Li Fei’er!
In re monts, they were all knocked to the ground, crying out for their parents.
One of them remained defiant, pointing at Li Fei’er, "Wait here if you dare, I’m calling my mom and dad!"
"Look at you, so pathetic!"
Li Fei’er shot him a glance, then got back on Ling Feng’s bike, "Mister, let’s go!"
"Okay."
Ling Feng didn’t care to waste ti here, riding away from the neighborhood entrance.
On the way, he asked, "Why didn’t you act earlier, waited for to co back before teaching those guys a lesson?"
"I didn’t know what you wanted. Maybe you didn’t want to stir up trouble and wanted not to act!" Li Fei’er explained.
"What are you thinking? No matter what trouble may be, you getting bullied is more important than anything else. If anything like this happens again, fight back straight away—don’t hesitate!" Ling Feng said.
"Got it, noted!" Li Fei’er chuckled.
Afterward, Ling Feng took two more orders, but being unfamiliar with the roads and new to the job, his efficiency wasn’t high. One order nearly went over the ti limit.
But these orders didn’t involve much interaction with the custors, mostly just hearing a few ’thank you’s.
Ling Feng even started wondering if he had made the wrong choice.
Yet things had reached this stage, money had been spent, so he might as well continue.
However, it was already late, past ten at night. After so thought, Ling Feng said to Li Fei’er, "Let’s head back. We can visit Puxin Temple tomorrow; perhaps we’ll find sothing!"
"Sure, I’ll follow your lead!" Li Fei’er nodded.
After stopping the orders, Ling Feng rode back to their rented place.
Upon going upstairs and entering the door, he finally saw the other tenant.
It was another couple, looking about twenty-three or twenty-four years old, currently playing cards with Chen Han in the living room.
Seeing Ling Feng and Li Fei’er return, all three of them froze!
One noticed Ling Feng wearing a delivery uniform, while Li Fei’er’s beauty caught the other’s eye.
"Li Qiang, you’re back! Haven’t seen you all afternoon—you went out delivering?" Chen Han stood and asked.
"Yes, can’t be idle all the ti, need to find sothing to do!"
Ling Feng smiled, nodding to the couple, "Hello, I’m Li Qiang!"
"Hi, I’m Hu Jian, and this is my girlfriend He Xue."
The girl nad He Xue looked ordinary, with a round, sowhat chubby face, now watching Li Fei’er, her eyes glimring.
Unable to resist, He Xue approached Li Fei’er, "Sis, you’re truly beautiful. How do you keep your skin so fair and smooth?"
"It’s natural, I guess?" Li Fei’er smiled.
Hu Jian and Chen Han were both staring, eyes wide—probably holding back drool to maintain their image.
After a few words, He Xue told Li Fei’er, "Sis, haven’t bathed yet? We’ve all cleaned up already, you should go!"
"No need, I cleaned up outside."
Li Fei’er laughed, then turned to Ling Feng and said, "Mister, I’m sleepy."
"Alright then, why don’t you rest up!" Ling Feng nodded.
Li Fei’er stepped into the room, and Ling Feng sat down, asking everyone, "Not going to rest yet?"
"No rush, it’s still early!"
Chen Han chuckled, nudging Ling Feng, "Man, you did well! Landing such a pretty girl!"
Ling Feng chuckled, feeling proud, "It’s nothing much—maybe it was just fate!"
"Why am I not as lucky as you?"
Chen Han shook his head helplessly, "Can’t take it—I’m going to train more. Need to ’attain the Dao’ and find a pretty girlfriend!"
Ling Feng was stunned, puzzled, "What training?"
"I learned a cultivation technique from my master—I’ll tell you later!"
Chen Han said, then headed inside.
Hu Jian shook his head, smiling wryly at Ling Feng, "Han seems obsessed lately, always wanting to train. No idea if that technique is real or not."
Ling Feng didn’t know what to say, so he just smiled, "I’ll head back to my room."
"Alright then, everyone should rest up."
Hu Jian nodded, then went back to his room with his girlfriend.
Ling Feng entered his room but couldn’t find Li Fei’er’s silhouette, making him pause!
Then, he heard Li Fei’er’s voice, "Mister, wait a bit. I’m bathing now!"
"Uh, where are you?"
Ling Feng looked around, puzzled, not seeing any trace of her.
Li Fei’er spoke up, "I’ve set up a protective barrier, so no need to worry about peepers. Do you want to co in and have a look?"
Ling Feng’s heart skipped a beat, "Now?"
