Everyone stood still, watching as several helicopters quickly approached and began to land.
The rotor blades whipped up a gust of wind, making everyone’s hair fly and leaving them quite displeased.
Ling Feng frowned, thinking to himself that they had no manners at all. He thought about seeing what they intended to do and made a ntal note that if they dared be impolite, he might just sort them out!
After the helicopters landed, nearly twenty people jumped out of the cabin, all ard, and quickly ran towards them.
The helicopter engines were also shut off, and the noise and turbulence gradually dissipated.
Then, those twenty or so people arrived.
Seeing that the others were all wearing military uniforms, Ling Feng frowned and asked, "Who are you?"
"Ling Feng, you have trespassed into our country’s territory without permission. We now declare you all under arrest!"
The leading officer shouted loudly.
"..."
Everyone looked at each other, all sowhat speechless.
Ye Zi was even more puzzled and asked, "What are they doing? Aren’t we helping them?"
"I have no idea either!"
Ling Feng chuckled wryly and turned to look at the officer, "Do you know what I’m doing here?"
"I don’t know. I’m just following orders. Please co with on the helicopter to face our nation’s legal consequences!" the officer said.
Ling Feng was utterly at a loss, wondering whether this person was just an idiot or if ignorance really was fearless.
Then he sneered and asked, "Order, who are you ordered by?"
"By our Pri Minister Trudeau!" the officer said.
"Oh."
Ling Feng had little impression of Trudeau. This Maple Leaf Country had always been a subordinate of Arica. Despite its large territory and relatively developed economy, the country had little influence internationally.
The main reason was their neighbor Arica, which was ambitious and loved showing off its military might.
Upon hearing it was a command from their highest leader, Ling Feng was left speechless.
Then he asked, "Since you know who I am, you should understand that if I don’t want to go with you, there’s nothing you can do, right?"
"If you refuse to co with us, I am authorized to shoot!" the officer said.
"Oh, and then what? What happens if you can’t kill ? You guys will be the ones to die!" Ling Feng retorted.
Hearing this, all the surrounding soldiers raised their weapons, aiming at Ling Feng!
"Damn it!"
Ling Feng was utterly frustrated, thinking where did these brash newcors co from? Are they really not afraid to die?
Turning to the officer, he coldly asked, "Are you here to arrest , or to seize this statue?"
The officer’s eyes flashed, "It has nothing to do with the statue. What we’re pursuing is the unlawful entry into our nation’s territory. You need to be tried by our courts!"
"Get lost! Trying to play rogue tactics with , are you even qualified?"
Ling Feng, filled with rage, activated the Mind Soul Art, causing the officer and surrounding soldiers to collapse instantly!
From a distance, the helicopter pilots saw this and imdiately started the engines, trying to take off.
Ling Feng didn’t give them the chance. Only upon hearing the engines did he rember about them, and he promptly subdued these individuals as well!
Then he rushed over, pulled them down, and tossed them beside their comrades.
Next, looking at those helicopters, Ling Feng directly took out Kai Tian!
In a flash, all the helicopters turned into scrap tal scattered across the ground.
"If you manage to survive on this tundra, go back and tell Trudeau: I don’t care for his tricks. He’s not even qualified to pick a fight with !"
Ling Feng coldly remarked, summoning the Ghost Dragon, and everyone jumped on to make their way back.
Along the way, Ling Feng remained sowhat frustrated, and Ling Yao noticed and consoled him, "Why bother with a bunch of clowns?"
"They’re overestimating themselves, thinking they’re sothing they’re not. Did they really think I would care about them?"
Ling Feng shook his head helplessly and sighed, "They ca just to disgust !"
"That guy might not even be acting on his own. Although the Aricans have been behaving themselves recently, who knows what tricks they might be up to behind the scenes?"
Ling Yao speculated, then continued, "Huaxia has been rising so quickly lately that the Aricans have realized that soon, Huaxia’s comprehensive strength will surpass theirs."
"That’s inevitable. Those rogues and frauds can shine for a mont, but it’s impossible to be arrogant worldwide forever!" Ling Feng responded.
Ling Yao looked at him and said, "It’s all because of you. Without you, surpassing Arica would still be a long road for Huaxia!"
"Hmm."
Ling Feng nodded, not finding much to be smug about, then pondered, "I’ll investigate this matter later to see if Trudeau is sucking up on his own or if soone is pulling strings from behind. Since they don’t appreciate kindness, I wouldn’t mind giving them a hard lesson!"
As they spoke, the Ghost Dragon had already crossed the Maple Leaf Country’s border and entered Arican airspace.
A short distance from the Teleportation Array, they landed and teleported back to Lingyun Island.
By then, Han Wancheng was already waiting.
Seeing Ling Feng return, he imdiately ca up excitedly, "How did it go? Did you really find it?"
"Yeah, it wasn’t that hard to find!" Ling Feng replied casually.
"Alright, but before sending it to them, can our people inspect it first?" Han Wancheng asked.
Ling Feng laughed, "Of course, that’s a must! If we can decipher the information inside, it might benefit us!"
Han Wancheng nodded, "Exactly, that’s what I thought too!"
So Ling Feng took out the statue, and several professional staff imdiately gathered around to examine it.
They discovered that the statue’s outer layer was a non-conductive tal, and devices like ultrasound and ultraviolet scans could not penetrate this shell.
To find out what’s inside, they’d have to destroy the statue’s shell!
Faced with this, they had to give up.
Because no one knew what might happen if the shell was destroyed, it was safer not to take the risk.
In the end, having no other choice, Ling Feng retrieved the statue and told Han Wancheng, "Boss, I’ll just deliver it to them. Let’s hope these people can leave imdiately!"
"Hmm, leaving isn’t the key; the key is to tell them that if there’s no interest in communication, they better not co again!" Han Wancheng emphasized.
"Understood!"
Ling Feng nodded and teleported to the Moon Base.
Once the statue was sealed, he boarded a spaceship and headed straight to the alien spaceship’s location.
The handover process went smoothly; the transport pod containing the sealed statue was launched over, and they received and stored it promptly.
Afterward, Ling Feng said through the communication system, "The deal is done. Are you ready to leave now?"
