"Another world?"
Ling Feng muttered to himself in confusion.
"I didn’t quite catch that either, maybe it’s sothing like a parallel universe? With such a magical ring appearing, other worlds shouldn’t be too strange," Li Fei’er said.
"That’s true,"
Ling Feng nodded, looked at the ring in his hand, and carefully tucked it into his pocket, "This trip was really worth it after all!"
Li Fei’er pouted, "You found a treasure, but I got nothing!"
"Yeah, I should actually thank you," Ling Feng said awkwardly.
Li Fei’er looked up at him, "Now you know you owe , right? So, how are you going to make it up to ?"
"Uh..."
Ling Feng scratched his head, "As long as it’s not a physical repaynt, whatever you ask for, I’ll give!"
"Tsk, then there’s nothing I want!"
Li Fei’er’s face turned red as she pouted and turned to walk away!
Ling Feng shook his head and quickly followed her, "How about I make you so barbecue when we get back?"
"Don’t want it!"
"Buy a few pretty dresses?"
"I have my own money!"
Ling Feng, scratching his head, could not co up with any other ways to appease her and stood there, stunned.
Noticing the footsteps behind her stopped, Li Fei’er turned back to look and couldn’t help but burst out laughing at the sight of him like that, "Alright, I was just teasing you. When you figure out what’s going on with that Illusionary Ring, rember to take to see it!"
"Really? That’s great, I promise I’ll take you!" Ling Feng imdiately breathed a sigh of relief.
The two found their tricycle and after hitting the road, were quickly back in Shiliu Village.
It was only eight in the morning when they got ho. Li Fei’er, impatient, said, "Since there’s nothing else, hurry up and research it!"
"More anxious than I am, fine."
Ling Feng smiled, walked quickly back into the house, and took out the box.
They both leaned in and looked at it for a while but couldn’t make sense of the pattern.
"Since it’s a ring, it must be worn to have any effect, try it on!" Li Fei’er reminded.
Ling Feng nodded and slipped the ring onto his ring finger.
A brilliant flash filled the room, and then nothing else happened.
"...."
The two looked at each other, both a bit baffled.
"How do I enter the Illusionary Ring?"
Ling Feng murmured, and at a thought, his vision suddenly went dark. After that, he found himself in a strange, unfamiliar environnt.
Li Fei’er, on the other hand, was startled because Ling Feng, who was just next to her, had vanished into thin air!
"Amazing!"
Li Fei’er’s face lit up with excitent, but then she showed a worried expression, "I hope he’s alright, I hope he doesn’t run into any danger..."
Ling Feng found himself on a lush green lawn, looked around, and saw that the area in the distance was covered in dense fog, obscuring his view.
On the edge of the fog opposite him, a huge dark-red stone caught his attention. Ling Feng hastened toward it, and as he approached, several large characters gradually beca visible on the stone!
"Nine Heavens!"
Seeing those characters, Ling Feng couldn’t help but click his tongue in wonder, "Goodness, what a mighty na!"
Just as he steadied himself, smaller characters appeared below the stone: Nine Heavens, First Layer, Forest Sea.
Ling Feng stood there motionlessly, thinking that more words would appear, but after waiting for seven or eight minutes, nothing else showed up.
"What does it an, why doesn’t it display what the Second Layer is?" he said to himself.
No sooner had he spoken than another line of characters gradually appeared on the stone: "Explore to unlock the Second Layer."
"How fancy!"
Ling Feng’s face was a picture of shock. A response to every question, wasn’t this artificial intelligence?
No more writing appeared on the stone, so he asked hurriedly, "How do I enter the First Layer?"
No sooner had he spoken than a flash of light appeared beside him, and a semi-transparent vortex materialized in front of him.
"A teleportation portal?"
It looked just like sothing from a sci-fi movie he had seen, prompting Ling Feng to exclaim in amazent.
He was now growing curious. Could the Illusionary Ring be a product of aliens? Why all the high technology?
Unfortunately, the stone did not answer his question and displayed no writing.
Ling Feng scratched his head and asked again, "How is exploration considered complete?"
"No comnt!"

Ling Feng was speechless: "Is this how you’re playing it?"
Looking at the slowly rotating vortex before him, he was eager to enter right away, but after a mont’s hesitation, he held back.
"One more question, how do I bring other people in here?"

Li Fei’er was still frowning with worry when Ling Feng suddenly appeared, startling the poor girl so much she almost jumped!
"You scared to death!" She patted her chest and gave Ling Feng a reproachful look.
"Was it necessary? We might have to do this often in the future. You’ll need to get used to it!" Ling Feng chuckled.
"Co on, tell , what’s it like in there? Anything fun?" Li Fei’er asked eagerly.
"That’s, well, a bit complicated..."
Ling Feng wore a strange expression as he recounted his discoveries to her.
Sure enough, after listening, Li Fei’er was also sowhat baffled and murmured to herself, "Really? I thought it was fantasy, but it turned out to be sci-fi?"

"Silly girl, after seeing this, our understanding of the world has already been surpassed. How can we afford to be careless?" Ling Feng said with a wry smile.
Thinking it over, Li Fei’er slapped her palm: "I would never have guessed, Uncle, that you cared about so much. I’m so happy!"
