Now reading: Chapter 771 5: Fate of Inverted Causality from The Growth of a God, a Eastern novel by Lazy Zero.

There's nothing more suffocating for a mother than her daughter questioning why she's not by her side.

The Bronze Divine Tree could not answer that question, nor did it know what had happened on the other side of the end of ti and space.

The only thing it did know was that since then, the daughter had reduced contact with her, and seemingly began to gradually understand what "death" ant.

Of course, if things had just stopped there.

At best, it would have been a wonderful story born out of a misunderstanding.

Just like a beautiful fairy tale always ends at the marriage of the princess and the prince, never delving into their life after.

Unfortunately, while stories can choose where to end, reality does not.

The incarnation of the God of Chaos is exceedingly precious.

How could it possibly remain in the hands of an ordinary little girl for long?

From the mont that little girl's mother died, it was destined that the little girl would repeat her mother's tragedy.

"This sounds like a tragedy..."

Having vaguely guessed the story's ending, the Dragon of Chaos couldn't help but interrupt.

By sorting through the tiline, it could be ascertained that the God of Chaos the little girl held ca from after her mother's death.

The little girl then used this God of Chaos to contact her mother from the past, and may have even communicated.

It wasn't until who knows how many years passed that the God of Chaos fell into the hands of the Bronze Divine Tree and once again intersected with the little girl in the past.

Thus, a perfect linear causality was born.

"Indeed, it is a tragedy born of the intertwining of ti and space."

Even after so many years, the Bronze Divine Tree showed remarkably human emotional fluctuations when recalling the scenes of the past.

"But from a retrospective standpoint, wasn't this the cause of my obtaining the God of Chaos?"

When the little girl contacted the Bronze Divine Tree again, countless years had already passed on her tiline.

"Mom, this may be the last ti I can talk to you."

At this mont, the little girl's voice had already transford into that of a young woman.

Yet the bond created by the dislocation of ti and space could never truly be severed.

"No matter if you are my original mother or not, in my heart, you are always my mother."

"However, this might be the last ti I call you Mom..."

"Whoever you are, I must tell you, I have never regretted being your daughter."

"Past is, present is, future will be."

Soon after, the Bronze Divine Tree could no longer hear her daughter's voice.

It was the first ti the usually graceful and composed Bronze Divine Tree felt such a strong impulse and anger.

The God of Chaos is both an opportunity and a danger.

Especially for ordinary people like the little girl, the only possibility in relinquishing the God of Chaos is death.

In fact, this is the general situation for most ordinary beings who acquire the God of Chaos.

Those who manage to stand out from all beings by relying on the God of Chaos and even ascend to beco deities are, after all, a minority.

And those like the Bronze Divine Tree and the Dragon of Chaos, who appear on the thirteen thrones, are but a re dozen across the long river of ti.

It's imaginable how violent the inner storm of the Bronze Divine Tree was at that ti.

For the first ti in its life, the Bronze Divine Tree abandoned the principles it had always adhered to and resolved to use the power of the God of Chaos to interfere across ti and space.

Yet, the Bronze Divine Tree ultimately was not a God of Ti in the true sense.

Even if it finally locked onto the ti node where the daughter existed, it could not alter the tiline fixed by the God of Chaos.

Thus, in rage, the Bronze Divine Tree chose revenge.

All who coveted the God of Chaos and hard the daughter were rcilessly killed by the Bronze Divine Tree.

Moreover, the out-of-control Bronze Divine Tree eventually even directly destroyed that world, killing billions of living beings within it.

When the Bronze Divine Tree finally regained its senses, only an incarnation of the God of Chaos floated in the void.

......................................................

"This is an inevitable causal loop..."

With a slight sadness and helplessness in its voice, only at that mont did the Bronze Divine Tree understand what "destiny" ant.

Because the God of Chaos obtained by the Bronze Divine Tree was the result of its own cross-ti interference from the very beginning.

It was precisely the Bronze Divine Tree's interference across ti and space, the destruction of that world,

that allowed the future self on the normal tiline to obtain this God of Chaos.

An established destiny, entangled causality, a completed ti loop...

"Isn't the process of every God of Chaos acquiring this incarnation so full of 'fatalism'?"

The past narrated by the Bronze Divine Tree made the Dragon of Chaos think of its own experiences.

The sa inversion of causality, the sa cross-ti interference...

The only difference is, the Dragon of Chaos knew exactly what it was doing from the start.

Whereas the Bronze Divine Tree only realized it was achieving the "past" at the world's end.

"Fatalism? You could indeed say that."

Shaken from past mories, the Bronze Divine Tree laughed again.

"After all, among the God of Chaos seated here, who hasn't attempted to touch the authority of 'ti'?"

The thirteen Chaos Supre Gods erged as the strongest among the God of Chaos.

In their respective eras, they were the cream of the crop, their power far surpassing that of ordinary Supre Gods.

The authority of ti for them, is a power that, even if not mastered now, must be mastered in the future.

"So, what does this have to do with why you've always helped us?"

Still with puzzled undertones, the Dragon of Chaos asked again.

"Is there always a reason required to befriend a god?"

In response to the Dragon of Chaos's question, the Bronze Divine Tree threw the question back.

"If I must say, I simply don't want to see a tragedy like my daughter's happen again..."

"Every God of Chaos has the right to grow, whether they are mortal or divine..."

At this mont, the voice of the Bronze Divine Tree paused briefly.

"If you are insistent on finding a fundantal reason..."

"Aside from kindness, you can also consider it an investnt of mine."

"If a situation like my daughter's arises again, I hope you'll lend your help."

Staring silently at the Bronze Divine Tree, the Dragon of Chaos replied after a long ti.

"If that's what you want, then I agree!"
