Yoon-Jae snapped out of his thoughts and walked over to where Sol was. He reached out his hand and Sol gladly handed him the Tier 9 dicinal plant.

Yoon-Jae took it and carefully examined it.

All the disciples in the surroundings were deathly silent as he did this.

After a mont, Yoon-Jae declared what everyone suspected.

"It’s a Tier 9 dicinal plant."

"WHOA!!"

The Alchemy Disciples imdiately went into an uproar.

However, Yoon-Jae held up his hands and squashed their excitent with his next words.

"However, it’s been left in the open for too long. It’s been completely decomposed, and its dicinal effects have been lost. It might as well be as valuable as a Tier 2 or Tier 3 dicinal plant."

Everyone’s expressions turned ugly when they heard that.

What is this rotten luck?

Soon everyone turned to look at Sol with pity. He found a Tier 9 dicinal plant, but it was like this. They didn’t know whether to think he was lucky or unlucky in this situation.

As the Alchemy Disciples were discussing this pitiful outco, one disciple suddenly perked up and yelled.

"Wait! If we have this Tier 9 dicinal plant, can’t we just plant it inside the garden? We’ll have a garden full of Tier 9 dicinal plants for ourselves!"

Most of the alchemy disciples’ hearts were moved when they heard this. However, a girl suddenly frowned and chided that disciple.

"How can you suggest sothing like that? Brother Sol was the one who found this Tier 9 dicinal plant, you didn’t even consult with the owner first before thinking about yourself. What if he doesn’t want to put it inside the garden?"

A few more disciples voiced similar sentints, both male and female disciples, but mostly female disciples.

However, Sol who was brushing off the dirt from his clothes perked up and said.

"I don’t mind. If it will help the Alchemy Pavilion as a whole, then we can plant the Tier 9 dicinal plant in the garden."

The disciples in the surroundings all cheered when they heard that. However, Yoon-Jae suddenly spoke and squashed their excitent once again.

"It can’t be planted; its roots are too damaged. Plus, even if this was in perfect condition, do you think it’s that easy to grow a Tier 9 dicinal plant? They’re treasures of heaven and earth that only grow in special conditions. The little subpar garden we have is far from insufficient to even grow dicinal herbs above Tier 7 plants much less Tier 9 ones."

"Damn it, this isn’t fair."

"Yeah, I was so excited for nothing."

Soon all the disciples began muttering their disappointnt. However, sothing suddenly cropped up that they had all been ignoring.

How did Sol find this dicinal plant to begin with? It looked like he knew it was underground and exactly where it was.

"Huh? What’s that?!"

A loud cry suddenly caught everyone’s attention.

Everyone turned and saw that it ca from a disciple who was leaning over the hole Sol had dug. He was pointing at sothing inside.

"What do you see?"

A few disciples rushed over to see what he was pointing at.

"I don’t know, it looks like so sort of iron rod sticking out of the ground."

"Is it a treasure?!"

One disciple cried out and scrambled to look inside the hole.

Sol suddenly stopped brushing off the dirt on his robes and he turned to look at Yoon-Jae with a panicked expression on his face.

Yoon-Jae saw his expression and imdiately acted.

"Everyone, go tend the garden! We’ll also have a eting to discuss the teams leaving the safe zone to gather herbs, so head inside!"

When he saw that most of the disciples hesitated and wanted to look at what was in the hole, Yoon-Jae’s face grew cold.

"Did you not hear ?"

He didn’t yell this ti, but these disciples all felt a chill go down their spines. And that was with the fact there were so third-year disciples in the crowd.

They all knew the kind of personality their Head Disciple had. He might have the looks of an angel, but underneath that perfectly sculptured face was a hideous devil!

All the alchemy disciples turned and dashed towards the ruined palace.

However, one particular disciple who was next to the hole glanced at it with suspicion but eventually turned to leave with the crowd.

After all the disciples cleared the area, Yoon-Jae handed back the damaged Tier 9 dicinal plant to Sol before they headed for the hole.

When they reached the edge, they leapt down inside.

"Give a hand."

Yoon-Jae didn’t say a word and only nodded before helping Sol widen the hole.

After a few minutes, they dug the base of the hole to a radius of about twenty ters.

"This is..."

Yoon-Jae looked at the ground and frowned in confusion.

"...what is this?"

In the center of the hole was a small black iron rod that stood about two feet. They couldn’t dig further down because a massive rock was below them.

Sol walked around this iron rod and examined it closely. After a while, his face lit up and his heart started pounding wildly.

"Brother Yoon-Jae, did you say the Academy cleared out this safe zone right?"

Yoon-Jae nodded.

"That’s what I heard."

"How long ago was it? Did they find anything when they did?"

Yoon-Jae thought for a mont then said.

"I don’t know how long ago it was, but I heard this Dinsion was here before the Academy was established. In fact, rumors were going around that when this Dinsion was first discovered, the cultivation world was thrown into chaos as people scramble to get the resources inside. It was in this chaos that the Seven Holy Sects and Five Great Clans appeared."

"Ah! So, Brother Yoon-Jae is saying the current Six Holy Sects, and the Five Great Clans today only exist because of the treasures and resources they obtain in this Dinsion?"

"Yes, but where are you going with this?"

Sol didn’t respond to Yoon-Jae and instead placed all his attention on the small iron rod.

Yoon-Jae seed annoyed by this, but he waited for Sol’s explanation.

After a few more minutes of Sol just staring at this iron rod, he began muttering to himself.

"No wonder, no wonder, this makes so much sense."

Little Zeel had appeared in Yoon-Jae’s hand so ti ago and he was stroking his fur while observing Sol.

"Ugh, aren’t you going to explain what this thing is anyti soon?"

Sol snapped out of his thoughts.

"Sorry Brother Yoon-Jae, it’s just that this is just too shocking. This iron rod..."

Sol pointed at this unassuming rod and then said with a serious expression on his face.

"...It has a teleportation array on it that hasn’t been used in a very long ti."

Yoon-Jae was imdiately taken aback by, but Sol continued. However, what he said next caused Yoon-Jae’s pupils to constrict.

"Brother Yoon-Jae, not only that, but the thod used to create this teleportation array have the sa thods of linking and overlapping runes as the Jeagal Clan. No--rather, the thod is the sa but the one on this iron is a hundred tis better."

"Can you activate it?"

Sol paused and then nodded.

Yoon-Jae’s heart started to pound wildly in his chest, but he soon cald down and shook his head.

"It’s probably nothing. The Academy has scoured this place before making this safe zone much less the other powers in the distant past. It’s impossible for them not to have found this thing."

Sol paused and then stared at Yoon-Jae as he rebutted confidently.

"Brother Yoon-Jae, you’re wrong. The only reason I found this iron rod was because of that dicinal plant. If it wasn’t for that then it would have remained undiscovered. It’s really, really undetectable. Unless soone dug in this exact position and see it with their own two eyes then they wouldn’t know it was here."

Yoon-Jae was still skeptical. He knew what Sol was trying to say, that there was a possibility that this was sothing the Six Holy Sects and Five Great Clans missed in the distant past.

"But did they really miss this?"

"If they had found it, Brother Yoon-Jae, why would they have left it intact? Wouldn’t they have destroyed it entirely, or at the very least destroyed the runes so no one could use it? Instead, this array is completely intact and it’s only slightly damaged due to the erosion of ti. If that isn’t enough, Brother Yoon-Jae, then tell why the Academy would choose this place as a safe zone when this thing is here?"
