Little Abdu looked at Sol and he sighed before saying.
"I’m not in a position to give you advice on this."
"I know. You aren’t the best person to ask when I need to solve a problem."
Sol then laughed before he picked up Little Abdu and began rubbing his cheeks against his smooth fur, to Little Abdu’s annoyance.
"Plus, I’ve already made my decision. I’ll overco the small hill. I just can’t forgive the Church."
"Do you know how you’ll overco this small hill?"
Sol paused rubbing Little Abdu against his cheeks before saying.
"That I don’t know."
"Well, if I had my original cultivation, I could wipe-"
"No."
Sol shook his head. He knew what Little Abdu was going to suggest.
eting Little Abdu’s gaze, he said.
"If you do that then you’ll just beco the monster everyone says you are. You don’t have to prove them right."
Sol then went back to rubbing his check against Little Abdu.
While being pressed up against Sol’s cheeks, Little Abdu fell silent for a mont.
Those were the exact words soone once told him. It was also eerily creepy how similar Sol and this person’s character were.
"I won’t wait forever for you to make a decision. I have a grudge against the followers of Keres as well."
"There are innocent people among the Church, Little Abdu."
"Then kill those who are guilty and spare those who are innocent."
"And who decides who is guilty from who isn’t?"
"The strong do. When you’re strong your every decision becos justified."
"No little Abdu, soone with strength but acts without reason is a tyrant. And my father said a tyrant is soone I should never beco; that I should never use my strength to justify my actions."
"That’s naive, the world won’t think the sa as you do."
Sol smiled.
"No, that’s called being reasonable. Sothing most cultivators aren’t because they’re blinded by their pride of being a cultivator. But take away their strength obtained by cultivation and they have nothing noteworthy to speak of... Let’s just get stronger together. Once I’m strong enough, I know I’ll be able to find the right solution to this."
Little Abdu remained silent, but it could be seen that he was mulling over Sol’s words.
After ssing up Little Abdu’s fur so more, Sol suddenly stood from his chair and said.
"We aren’t even strong enough to be considered anything in the cultivation world, much less talk about getting revenge."
"Speak for yourself, if only I can recover from my injuries."
Little Abdu said this as Sol walked over to a clearing in the library. After he sat down, he looked at Little Abdu and asked curiously.
"Little Abdu, how strong were you in the past?"
"Strong enough to kill everyone in your Sect."
Little Abdu jumped down from the table.
Sol smiled in amusent before saying.
"Are you sure you’re not just boasting? Also, I’m from an Academy, not a Sect."
"Boasting? You think I’m boasting?"
Little Abdu sat down in front of Sol.
Still smiling Sol said.
"I understand the Era you ca from had powerful beings, but cultivation is more developed than back then. Plus, those Sects and Clans have access to this Dinsion and others. Do you think they would be weak?"
Little Abdu pondered on that. He had to admit what Sol was saying made sense.
"Anyway, I think I’ll leave before a week is up. I’m going to finish absorbing this Legacy Rune and collect as many books as I can."
"You’re going to leave all these books behind?"
"Yeah, I feel uneasy staying here for that long, so I want to leave early. Plus, I can always co back."
After saying this, Sol closed his eyes.
The Legacy Rune on the back of his hand glowed faintly as he continued to combine his Master’s Seven Runic Paths of Samsara Formation with it.
Little Abdu, who was cleaning his fur that Sol ruined, glanced at the Legacy Rune with a lot of mixed emotions in his heart. However, as he looked at the Legacy Rune, his expression suddenly shifted to one of dumbfoundnt and then anger.
"Stop!"
Sol was startled out of absorbing the Legacy Rune.
"Wah-What is it?"
Sol looked around the library in a panic before looking at Little Abdu to see he was glaring at him.
"What are you doing? How dare you fuse another Formation with the Legacy Rune?!"
Sol released a sigh of relief, he thought sothing bad had happened.
"Damn brat, unfused those two imdiately, you’re going to degrade the rune by combining it with that trashy thing!"
"It’s a Rune Array my Master created; it isn’t trashy. If anything, it’s on par with Su Moon’s Legacy Rune!"
Sol quickly held out his hand to prevent Little Abdu from approaching him, while keeping the one with the Legacy Rune on it away from him.
Little Abdu, upon hearing Sol, almost wanted to burst out laughing.
"Brat, you want to believe a Rune Array created by soone in the outside world is on par with this Legacy Rune? Do you have any idea what was sacrificed to create it? You might as well have just covered a precious gem in a pile of shit!"
Sol pouted.
"Don’t talk about my Master’s Rune Array like that Little Abdu. I know how much this Legacy Rune ans to you, so I won’t do sothing to lessen its integrity."
Upon hearing that, Little Abdu cald down sowhat.
"Show this Rune Array, I’ll judge whether it’s good or not."
Sol nodded confidentially before he removed his outer robe and his inner shirt. He then turned so his back faced Little Abdu before shifting his hair.
Little Abdu sat there and watched as a large black rune array appeared on Sol’s back.
It was in the shape of a heptagon with nurous runic symbols and intricate lines in its center.
When Little Abdu saw it, his eyes widened a bit.
"Is it carved inside the body using the ridians?"
"Yes, my Master said most of the Barbarian Tribes’ Runic Physique Techniques are done like this."
"Barbarian Tribes? Runic Physique Techniques? What are those?"
"Those..."
Sol forgot that Little Abdu wasn’t aware of the outside world.
"I’ll explain them to you after we leave, but what do you think?"
Little Abdu watched as the Seven Runic Paths of Samsara Formation fully appeared on Sol’s back. However, he realized that it was incomplete.
On one of the points of the heptagon Formation on Sol’s lower back, there was an intricate rune that was half-finished.
"So far, I have only carved half a rune out of the seven needed to complete it. But the base is already constructed so I’m still able to combine it with the Legacy Rune."
Little Abdu walked closer to Sol’s back to examine the Samsara Formation.
After a mont of silence, he said.
"I have to admit I was wrong. Whoever created this has a great understanding of Runes. His knowledge of Formations however might not be so great."
"Then is it comparable to the Legacy Rune?"
Little Abdu shook his head.
"No, it’s not comparable because this Rune Formation is greater than the Heavenly Canopy Formation."
"Really?!"
Sol was surprised by Little Abdu’s conclusion. Was his perverted Master that great?
"Only in terms of the Rune Inscription thod. Perhaps if Su Moon had this person’s knowledge of runes, he wouldn’t have to sacrifice so much to create the Heavenly Canopy Formation. And equally, if this person had Su Moon’s knowledge of linking and overlapping Runes to create Formations, he could have improved the structure of this Formation tenfold."
Sol was still reeling in shock that his Master had so much understanding of Rune Inscription when Little Abdu continued to say.
"I don’t have a great understanding of runes and formations, but I believe if your Master’s thod of Rune Inscription was introduced back in my ti, it would have caused an uproar. It’s simple, but from simplicity, it slowly becos complex."
"What does that an?"
"It ans your Master probably spent a good number of years comprehending the basic nature of a rune, and from the looks of it, with each enlightennt he gained he carved it down. Stroke by stroke. Also, to create a Formation like this with so many runes inside of it, he must have gained enlightennt thousands of tis. That’s simply absurd. You’re a lucky brat to have a Master like this. Hurry up and combine these two Formations, it’ll create sothing good."
