DING!!
The sound of tal clashing against tal echoed out in the hall.
Heon-Tae had a portion of his blade unsheathed to block Byeong-Ho’s sword that was aiming to sever Ji-Hoon’s neck. His bangs covered his eyes as he asked.
"Youngest Brother, what do you think you’re doing? Were you really thinking of harming Eldest Brother?"
Byeong-Ho silently looked at Heon-Tae for a mont, then said.
"He’s going down a path I don’t agree with. There’s no point trying to convince him when he’s already calling himself a God."
"Even so... you don’t harm your Eldest Brother!"
Heon-Tae raised his head and glared at Byeong-Ho.
"Youngest Brother, hurry and apologize to Eldest Brother."
Byeong-Ho frowned.
"You’re holding onto sothing that he cast away. Don’t you see he’s already using you? He no longer thinks of us as Brothers."
Ji-Hoon hadn’t reacted to Byeong-Ho’s sword strike, not because he couldn’t. Even as Byeong-Ho’s sword was approaching him, he didn’t so much as flinch. It’s as if he knew Heon-Tae was going to step in.
"Third Brother, he’s been using us this entire ti. He-"
"APOLOGIZE YOUNGEST BROTHER!!"
Heon-Tae roared at Byeong-Ho, not wanting to hear what he had to say.
Byeong-Ho imdiately stopped talking.
It was always like this. They never thought about his feelings. They only do what they want, but if he spoke against them, they would just ignore his words. However, the mont he made a decision for himself, they had no problem turning and scolding him.
Byeong-Ho’s grip on his sword tightened.
"Third Brother, if you’re going to stand next to Eldest Brother, then you’ll beco my enemy as well."
"BASTARD!"
Heon-Tae roared once more, and he clenched his teeth.
BANG!
A raging amount of Blade Intent erupted from his body while his golden blade Innate Dharma materialized above his head to send out terrifying ripples.
Byeong-Ho retreated several ters.
"Third Brother, what are you doing?!"
Cheong-Su cried out.
Heon-Tae glared at Cheong-Su and Cheong-San, then growled.
"Are you two going to join Youngest Brother and attack Eldest Brother as well?"
Mar-Dule snorted.
"They might not, but I will."
"Brother Yoon-Jae..."
Sol called after Yoon-Jae, who stepped around his hand and followed Mar-Dule in joining Byeong-Ho.
Yoon-Jae paused.
"Sol, there’s no reasoning with that idiot. He’s gone crazy, and we need to stop him before things get out of hand. If I knew he was like this, I would have never helped him get Immortal Dai Shen’s Inheritance."
After saying this, Yoon-Jae continued walking forward.
Little Abdu looked at Sol but said nothing. He knew it was more difficult for Sol to decide on what to do in this situation than for anyone else here.
As Mar-Dule and Yoon-Jae stepped forward, Cheong-San and Cheong-Su stood back. They didn’t agree with their Eldest Brother, but they couldn’t attack him.
Heon-Tae gripped his Immortal Blade as Mar-Dule, Yoon-Jae, and Byeong-Ho stood in front of him.
"Why are you doing this?"
Ji-Hoon softly asked behind him.
Heon-Tae’s brows ca together.
"Didn’t I say it before? We’re in this together. Don’t think I haven’t noticed you’re acting crazy on purpose to distance yourself from us. You’re our Eldest Brother, so no matter what you decide to do, I’ll follow you... But I’ll object every step of the way."
Ji-Hoon couldn’t help but smile faintly.
"I’m glad I at least have you on my side, I know I would be lonely in the future otherwise."
Ji-Hoon then raised his hand.
In the outside world, the Formation Arrays were fully activated.
Elder Gu and the other Elders frantically tried to escape the three Courtyards, but the Spatial Distortion Arrays and the Gravity Arrays appeared, trapping them.
Heaven and Earth were once again thrown into chaos as blue lightning flooded the sky and purple lightning rampaged on land.
They didn’t know how and by whom they were killed, so they wouldn’t rest easy even in the afterlife.
"He actually killed them."
Mar-Dule said, sowhat shocked.
"He’s already far gone; we need to stop him."
Yoon-Jae added.
Byeong-Ho said nothing, but he raised his sword and pointed at Heon-Tae. Pink cherry blossoms scattered around him, and despite their beautiful, almost surreal appearance, each of these petals radiated a sharp aura that felt as if they could cut through anything.
Slowly, sparks started to flicker on Yoon-Jae’s body. In an instant, his entire figure, including his hair, brows, and eyes, burst into crimson flas.
The heat that emanated from him felt like hellfire.
At the sa ti, a wave of tal-type Aether Energy swept out from Mar-Dule’s body, resulting in an overbearing aura pressing down on the surroundings.
Heon-Tae, seeing this, stood tall while his golden blade Innate Dharma pointed towards the sky. It released Blade Intent, which was filled with the will to hack everything in existence into the surroundings.
The four auras clashed in the Hall, and ripples swept out.
Unbeknownst to the world, a fight of epic proportions between several future powerhouses was happening behind closed doors.
"Twenty-four swords beco one."
Byeong-Ho said as he raised his sword and slashed down. His cherry plum blossom petals erupted into a frenzy as a powerful sword arc shot out.
At the sa ti, Mar-Dule and Yoon-Jae made their move.
Mar-Dule’s dual saber slashed out, and two arcs of Saber Intent empowered by his monstrous reserve of Aether Energy shot out.
Yoon-Jae ford several hand signs and pointed forward. His crimson flas spread out before coalescing into a massive snake around thirty ters long. It shot out, and side by side, the three attacks charge towards Heon-Tae and Ji-Hoon.
Heon-Tae didn’t hesitate to raise his Immortal blade. His Innate Dharma fused with it as he shifted his foot back.
"Sovereignty of the Nine Heavens!!"
Heon-Tae roared out as he hacked down.
"You can’t handle this by yourself, Third Brother."
Ji-Hoon suddenly said as he pushed his palm towards the Grand Formation below.
All of the balls of light trembled, but most of them stopped soon after, leaving only two to heed his call.
The golden lights around these two weapons shattered, and their auras exploded out.
One was a broken sword that was releasing Sword Intent no weaker than Byeong-Ho’s own. The other was the saber Mar-Dule had been eyeing. However, it was likely better to call it a piece of tal as cracks covered its entire body, and it was missing half of its handle.
Regardless, the Saber Intent that erupted out of it was not to be underestimated.
These two Divine Artifacts shot toward Mar-Dule and Yoon-Jae’s attacks.
Heon-Tae’s golden blade arch shot toward Byeong-Ho’s pink sword arc.
The hall seed to be on the verge of being destroyed; it was shaking nonstop due to these six attacks.
Cheong-Su, Cheong-San, and Jinji had to retreat in a hurry.
Sol, however, suddenly placed Little Abdu on the ground.
"I’m done hesitating. Little Abdu, protect Little Zeel for ."
Sol said this as he took the sleeping Little Zeel from his head to place beside Little Abdu.
Little Abdu nodded and then watched Sol take a step forward and vanish.
Using the help of his bracelets, Sol reappeared floating in the air between the six attacks.
