Byeong-Ho watched as the crowd exited the arena.

A young man wearing the Huashan Sect’s robes, which had pink blossom petals on them, suddenly appeared next to him. Byeong-Ho turned around and bowed to this young man.

"Elder Kwang-Ho, thank you for accompanying to the auction."

Elder Kwang-Ho smiled warmly and patted Byeong-Ho’s head.

"Isn’t it, Elder Brother?"

Byeong-Ho grinned.

"I really don’t want anyone to know my older brother is a grandpa."

"You little brat, do I look like a grandpa to you?"

Kwang-Ho’s pat turned into him squeezing Byeong-Ho’s head.

Kwang-Ho was the eldest son of the Weapon Pavilion Headmaster. After graduating from the Martial Alliance Academy, he returned to the Huashan Sect to beco an Elder.

He was quite a high-profile individual back in the day since his father was a Pavilion Headmaster of the Martial Alliance Academy, while his uncle was the Sect Leader of the Huashan Sect.

However, after Byeong-Ho ca into the picture, he and everyone who was considered talented in the Huashan Sect beca background figures to his overwhelming talent.

It should be noted that Kwang-Ho was the only one out of those people who didn’t treat Byeong-Ho as if he didn’t exist. Perhaps it was because he saw Byeong-Ho as an actual brother rather than an adopted brother.

After squeezing his little brother’s head, Kwang-Ho sighed and said.

"Father sent here after he heard what happened to the Dinsion, but to think sothing like this would happen just as I ca."

Byeong-Ho tilted his head in confusion. He knew his father easily got worried about his safety, so it was in his nature to send soone to check up on him in this situation. However, he would always send one of the Elders from the Academy.

"Did sothing happen?"

Kwang-Ho nodded solemnly.

"I don’t know the specifics, but the Academy has been in chaos for several weeks."

"What happened?"

"An unprecedented incident. A first-year disciple was found dead in his courtyard."

"What?!"

Byeong-Ho was shocked.

"Was he killed by soone?"

"That’s the issue. It’s still an ongoing investigation. It seed he went through a deadly Aether Deviation, but its trigger could be the result of soone’s actions."

"Who was it that died?"

Kwang-Ho thought for a mont, then responded.

"I don’t rember the boy’s na, but I recalled he was soone who was in conflict with that friend of yours. Was it Gang-Soo, or Gong-Soo?"

Byeong-Ho’s eyes narrowed.

"Geon-Soo."

"Yes! That’s the na."

Kwang-Ho snapped his fingers as he said this. He was really bad at rembering people’s nas.

’Soone killed Geon-Soo?’

Byeong-Ho took a ntal note of this and planned to tell Sol before he said.

"Brother, I’m leaving."

"Hm, hopefully, that rumor about the city opening isn’t just a rumor."

Byeong-Ho forced a smile.

Kwang-Ho paused and looked at Byeong-Ho.

’Little Brother, try not to draw too much attention with this stunt of yours.’

Byeong-Ho t Kwang-Ho’s worried gaze. His brother was using his Soul Energy to speak to him.

"Don’t worry, I’ll be fine, Elder Brother."

Kwang-Ho sighed.

’Don’t worry about the Immortal sword, I’ve already talked to Father and Grandfather. You can use it as you please without worry.’

Byeong-Ho nodded and then turned to leave.

Kwang-Ho watched him leave before sighing to himself.

’To think Little Brother got one of the Inheritances in the Hundred Plants and Herbs Dinsion. It must be because he’s his grandfather’s Disciple.’

Kwang-Ho didn’t know the full extent of what happened in the Hundred Plants and Herbs Dinsion, but he figured it had sothing to do with his Little Brother’s group.

’If uncle found out about this, he might just flip out. Maybe I should have stayed in the Academy with Father.’

However, after thinking that, Kwang-Ho shook his head.

"No. If I hadn’t entered the Huashan Sect, who would Little Brother rely on? Uncle sure as hell wouldn’t look at him."

Kwang-Ho then sighed for the umpteenth ti.

"This family dynamic is starting to ss with my head."

Kwang-Ho took a step and disappeared from the podium.

anwhile, Byeong-Ho made his way into the backrooms of the arena. He pushed open the door and saw that everyone was standing around Sol. In Sol’s hand, a purple jade slip had just turned to dust.

Closing the door and walking into the room, Byeong-Ho asked.

"Do you guys think he will really open the Outer Dinsion?"

"He has to."

Yoon-Jae said while folding his arms.

"I never thought of what would happen after the Academy lost a big stream of resources like the Hundred Plants and Herbs Dinsion if Sol hadn’t said anything. There’s no telling the lengths they would go to, to compensate for that loss."

After Yoon-Jae said this, Sol thought about the Ibbian Mountain Range, and his worry increased quite a bit.

"But do you think the Academy will be satisfied with just the Outer Dinsion opening?"

Cheong-Su asked, and Mar-Dule chid in to reply.

"It’s better than nothing. But aside from that, if the Outer Dinsion doesn’t open, our plans would be ruined."

Sol shook his head.

"Even if the Outer Dinsion doesn’t open, we still made a bit of profit from the Sects and Clans in Pearl City."

Dae Han laughed and then said.

"I wish I could have seen your performance. How good were your acting skills to have tricked so many people, Brother Sol?"

Everyone nodded.

Sol rubbed his nose, feeling a bit embarrassed by all the praise.

"So do we just wait to see if the Outer Dinsion will open?"

Hearing Mar-Dule’s question, everyone shrugged.

What else could they do?

However, Sol suddenly said.

"We’re already on a roll, why not keep the ball going?"

"You have another grand plan?"

Yoon-Jae asked, and Sol nodded before turning to Dae Han.

"Why don’t we get back what was stolen from us?"

Dae Han narrowed his eyes.

"Gladly... But that’s easier said than done when she’s an Elder of the Academy who’s in the Spiritual Realm."

Sol thought for a mont, then asked Dae Han.

"Did you have a plan in mind to get back the stones?"

"I was thinking of using that useless City Lord."

"He’s actually still inside the city?"

Mar-Dule asked, surprised.

Dae Han nodded.

"He has a Spirit Treasure that can hide his appearance, so he hasn’t been caught yet."

A plan started to form in Sol’s mind.

"I think I have a way to get them back, but I need to learn sothing from you, Brother Dae Han."

Dae Han tilted his head.

"What’s that?"

"You said Elder Hyun-Joo was still chasing you after you abandoned the Yang Celestial Stone. How were you able to escape her? Can you teach your Concealnt Skill?"

Dae Han paused when he heard that.

"Ah!"

Sol realized how demanding he sounded and began apologizing.

"If it’s not sothing you can teach others, then I apologize for asking Brother Dae Han."

Dae Han chuckled as he watched Sol frantically wave his hands in the air.

"You’re too greedy."

Yoon-Jae muttered as he gently elbowed Sol on the side.

Sol scratched his cheek and smiled embarrassingly in response.
