"Little Abdu sir, you know about my Giant Race? Please, can you tell how we can unlock our bloodlines?"

Little Abdu seed to frown at that, and Sol too was confused.

"Mar-Dule, what do you an?"

Mar-Dule sighed before he explained solemnly.

"Many people don’t know this, but my Barbarian Race is also called the Giant Race. But that was all in the past. As of now, we are far from what we used to be. My father told us stories about how our ancestors were giants that could grow as tall as a mountain, and they had the strength to pluck stars out of the sky. This strength is within our bloodline, but for so reason, we lost it. We tried everything we could to awaken it, for example, the Hellfire Grass. It’s one of the special herbs we used to try and stimulate our dormant Giant Race bloodline, but..."

Mar-Dule paused here and looked at Little Abdu with a hopeful expression.

However, Little Abdu shook his head.

"I don’t have the answer to your Giant Race’s problem."

Mar-Dule’s plump body seed to deflate.

"But I assu you would like to know about your ancestor and the Giant Race?"

Mar-Dule suddenly perked up.

"Yes! I want to know, they’re records that we’ve preserved, but we barely know a thing."

Sol was also filled with curiosity, and he placed all his focus on what Abdu was about to say.

"Well, to put it simply, the Giant Race was a slave race to the Immortals; similar to mortals."

Mar-Dule nodded, having known this was the case, even adding.

"And it’s said our ancestor decided to revolt against the Immortals. And because he was a genius Rune Master, he was able to create the foundation of the thods we use now to cultivate our physical bodies with runes."

"Hm, your Giant Race was masters of Rune creation, but Immortal Mar-Tu was sothing like a generational genius among the Gainst Race."

"Mar-Tu?"

Sol asked while looking at Mar-Dule.

Nodding, Mar-Dule said as he slapped his chest.

"My family is the direct descendants of ancestor Mar-Tu, that’s why we’re seen as the leaders of the various Barbarian Tribes across the Eternal Desert. However, why was ancestor Mar-Tu called an Immortal?"

Mar-Dule turned to Little Abdu, who responded.

"It’s rely a title given to him because of his strength. He, along with Immortal Dai Shen and the Shadow Immortal, were the three strongest beings on the Violet Continent. I didn’t say this before because I wasn’t sure, but that kid you t back there could likely be a descendant of the Shadow Immortal. I recognized the moon tattoo on his forehead."

"Brother Ushi is?"

Sol went into thought before he said a mont later.

"So, despite the Immortals disappearing, their descendants and followers survived until today."

Then a thought ca to him.

"If the Barbarian Race are descendants of Immortal Mar-Tu, and the Miura Clan are the descendants of the Shadow Immortal... then who would be the descendants of Immortal Dai Shen?"

"Wouldn’t that be the Six Holy Sects and the Five Great Clans?"

Mar-Dule said, but Abdu shook his head.

"Wouldn’t that be the Forgotten Sect? Or rather, that friend of yours who was able to obtain Immortal Dai Shen’s Inheritance?"

Sol and Mar-Dule glanced at each other.

That sounded plausible.

"Wait!"

Sol suddenly shouted as another thought ca to him. This ti, it practically slapped him across the face.

’Is it really a coincidence that Master was thinking of choosing Mar-Dule as a disciple, while third Uncle Master chose Brother Ushi from the Muira Clan? Even though second Uncle Master chose Brother Yoon-Jae, Master was still aware of Ji-Hoon and had even allowed him to enter the dinsion to obtain Immortal Dai Shen’s Inheritance. Who exactly is Master, and Uncle Master?’

"Hey? What happened? You can’t just scream like that and then go silent."

Mar-Dule waved his hand in front of Sol to get his attention.

Sol snapped out of his thoughts and said.

"Ah, I was just thinking of sothing, sorry. Little Abdu, do you know anything else about Immortal Mar-Tu you can tell Mar-Dule?"

Sol changed the subject.

"I only know of so rumors since I’ve never left Immortal Dai Shen’s dinsion."

"Little Abdu sir, please tell . Anything at this point could be a clue to how we can unlock our bloodline."

"Okay, but what I have to say might not be clues."

"Even so, my father would definitely be excited when I tell him about this."

Like this, Yoon-Jae cultivated off to the side, still in his birthday suit, while Little Abdu told Mar-Dule everything he knew about the Barbarian Race’s ancestor, Immortal Mar-Tu.

The first Heat Zone they had to pass was quite large. It took them the entire night to travel through it.

At the sa ti, the temperature around them reached frightening levels of intensity.

However, despite the temperature, at one point during the journey, Sol, being the masochist he was, thought it was a good idea to remove his clothes to cultivate his fleshly body.

Though not just the outer protective robes, all of his clothes.

There was a lot of screaming involved, but as it turns out, the environnt was perfect for him to satiate his masochist tendenci-I an, his ’training.’

The Barbarian Race was known to have intense training thods, but Mar-Dule was frightened by Sol’s thought process. Not once had he thought to use the Heat Zones to train his fleshly body. No one did! It was rely a death wish.

During his ’training session,’ Sol strengthened his flesh body while at the sa ti swallowing the dicinal pill Young-Hwa had given him.

When the sun was rising over the horizon, they finally left the Heat Zone and reached the Safe Zone.

Sol opened his eyes and looked over at Yoon-Jae to see that he was still cultivating. It didn’t look like he would wake up any ti soon.

Sol got up and went over to cover him in his protective robes before taking out so casual robes from his storage and putting them on.

"Do you not need a protective robe?"

Mar-Dule asked, and Sol shook his head.

"I wouldn’t be able to last in the Heat Zone without protective clothes for too long, but the Safe Zones are a little better."

"How? Even in the Safe Zone, your Wood Aether Energy should be affected by the Fire Aether Energy in the surroundings."

Sol looked down at his hand.

Currently, there are two sets of ridians in his body. The ones that carried his Wood Aether Energy, and the ones that were created from his Holy Crest.

His Holy Crest was sealed, so no Holy Energy was circulating in these golden ridians; however, they had extre resistance to the Fire Aether Energy in the surroundings for so reason. And this resistance was shared with his normal ridians.

He should be fine as long as he didn’t circulate his Wood Aether Energy when he wasn’t wearing the protective clothes.

Sol wasn’t surprised at how different he was from other people at this point. This was, along with the fact that his Holy Crest sun tattoo was still emitting that stabbing pain. Obviously, it was a result of the environnt.

Abdu said the heat was caused by Divine Flas, but Sol didn’t know what he ant by that.

"You’re an anomaly, Sol."

Mar-Dule said, snapping Sol out of his thoughts.

Sol smiled.

"It’s not like I am completely immune to the heat. We are stopping here to rest until nightfall, right?"

"Hm, there are Tribes here in the Safe Zones. I let the one we’re going to know we’ll make a stop before leaving; it’s better to travel through the Heat Zones during the night."

Sol nodded.

"I’m excited to see what the Barbarian Tribes are like compared to my Ibbian Tribes. At the sa ti, we can get so of our own protective clothes and use yours."

Mar-Dule humd in agreent.

It was after a few minutes had passed that Sol saw sothing in the distance with his Heavenly Eyes. Though when he saw it, his expression beca weird.

"How is that a Tribe?"

In the distance, there was a tall tower, and surrounding this tower was a massive wall without an entrance in sight.

Both the tower and this wall were made of tal. Perhaps steel? But not quite. It looked too smooth, and the tallic glint that it had from the sun shining on it told Sol it wasn’t steel. Well, not entirely.

His father had taught him about blacksmithing in the village, so Sol knew his way around tal to so degree.

Mar-Dule, hearing Sol’s statent, squinted his eyes at the spec on the horizon. He then said, shocked.

"Sol, that’s almost forty kiloters away. How are you able to see so far? Is it because of that eye ability you have?"

"Hm, but forty kiloters is nothing, I can see up to one hundred fifty to two hundred kiloters if nothing is blocking my view."

"What?!"

Mar-Dule looked at Sol with even more shock.

"You-Are you secretly a Spiritual Realm cultivator?"
