Now reading: Chapter 95- Saying Goodbye from The Growth of a Titan in the Cultivation World, a Eastern novel by TSETTH.

The next day, Sol wore his Alchemy disciple robes and ca out of his room with Little Zeel on his head. As he approached Son’s room a figure appeared in his peripheral vision.

It was Ha-Yoon.

When she saw him, she released a huff.

Sol gave her an amused smile before pushing the double doors to Son’s room open.

The two entered and ca face-to-face with a completely different scenery than before.

The pieces of furniture in the room were no longer shattered, while the walls were fixed, and the lingering pungent sll inside was gone.

Sol and Ha-Yoon looked around curiously as they moved towards the opened courtyard, where Son was seated.

He was well dressed, with his hair neatly combed into a ponytail, and the unshaven stubbles on his face now shaven clean.

Sol couldn’t help but smile when he saw his appearance and thought to himself that this was the Son that he first t.

Son turned to the two, and then asked Sol with a relax smiled.

"Brother Sol, how about a drink?"

Sol smile and nodded before he walked over to sit across from Son.

Ha-Yoon, anwhile, walked over to another table nearby and sat down.

Little Zeel followed her and jumped into her lap so he could receive belly rubs.

Son poured Sol a cup of wine and then for himself. Afterward, he said.

"Brother Sol, I really want to thank you for visiting . If it wasn’t for you, I might have been stuck in this room while drowning in self-pity. Thank you."

Son raised his cup of wine and downed it. Sol did the sa before Son poured him another cup of wine.

Softly, Son asked.

"Brother Sol, are you leaving?"

Son really didn’t need to ask, Sol was wearing his yellow Alchemy robes so it should be obvious.

Sol nodded.

"I am, but I’ll be sure to visit you in the future, Brother Son."

Ha-Yoon was heard snorting off to the side while rubbing Little Zeel’s fur.

Son gave her a glance and a smile. His room was only a few doors away from Sol’s, and Ha-Yoon wasn’t exactly being quiet when she made her proposal.

Not acknowledging his sister’s moody temper, Son turn to Sol and said.

"As promised Brother Sol, I’ll tell you a secret of mine that I’ve been keeping for most of my life."

Ha-Yoon looked over at them, not being able to hide her curiosity.

"Is it about Brother Son’s Innate Dharma?"

Son nodded before he stretched out his hand to the side.

Imdiately after, ripples were produced under his palm. Then slowly, an illusory long sword materialized amidst those ripples.

"Brother, this is..."

Ha-Yoon stared at the illusory long sword Son materialized with shock and incredulity.

"Brother Son, so you had twin Innate Dharmas."

"Ah! Here I was worried about you not being able to ever cultivate!"

Ha-Yoon suddenly yelled, and Son smiled apologetically.

"I’m sorry for worrying you and Father, but I wasn’t in the right mindset to think about anything else."

"It was no wonder you still had your cultivation even after a year."

Sol said in realization.

Usually, when soone loses their Innate Dharmas their cultivation would slowly crumble.

Sol also realized where those sword marks on the walls ca from.

"Brother Sol..."

Son’s call brought Sol out of his examination of the illusory long sword. He turned to Son to see that he was wearing a serious expression.

"You asked why the Demonic Cult was after , this sword is the reason why."

"It’s an Irregular Innate Dharma?"

Son didn’t respond to Sol but instead turn his attention to his second Innate Dharma.

From the ground, yellow particles slowly erge to wrap around the illusory sword.

At the sa ti, the wind picked up in the courtyard to furiously sway the flowers in the surroundings.

Son’s second Innate Dharma was actually an Earth-type Weapon Innate Dharma

It had attributes from two of the three main types of Innate Dharmas.

However, that wasn’t the most shocking part.

Sol saw that the illusory sword was actually taking on a solid form!

When everything cald down, the sword’s appearance was revealed.

It was completely made of stone. Its handle all the way down its body also had intricate designs of clouds on it, while a yellow tassel hung loosely from its hilt.

"Brother Sol, even though I haven’t been myself for the past year, I never stopped thinking about sothing strange. How did the Demonic Cult know that I had an Irregular Innate Dharma?"

"Brother Son, if you have this then does that an..."

Son nodded.

"Those bastards got the wrong Innate Dharma!"

Son then released a loud laugh after saying that.

Sol smiled, but a thoughtful look soon appeared on his face as he deduced a few things.

"Brother Son, perhaps their thod of finding disciples with Irregular Innate Dharmas only tells them that the disciples have one, but not what it is or anything more detailed."

Son nodded.

"How else would they snatch my first Innate Dharma instead of this one? Even though my first Innate Dharma is Tier 5 and this is Tier 2, I have a feeling my second Innate Dharma is slightly better. Perhaps not now as my cultivation speed is nowhere near what it used to be, but maybe in the future."

Sol agreed with that.

Son’s second Innate Dharma was able to beco corporeal without using a technique.

An Innate Dharma goes through its first transformation and becos corporeal only after one enters the Spiritual Realm.

With Son’s second Innate Dharma already like this in the Mortal Realm, who knows what it could beco after he entered the Spiritual Realm?

"Brother Son, how exactly did they steal your Innate Dharma?"

"I don’t know."

Son shook his head.

"I was in a blind rage after Seon was killed. The only thing I rember was feeling sothing ripped from my soul. I was in so much pain that I completely lost consciousness. However, Brother Sol, I think I was supposed to die then. Maybe they think I would die from my injuries or from their thod of taking my Innate Dharma, but I survived; possibly because I had my second Innate Dharma. Also, Brother Sol..."

Sol saw Son look at him with a serious expression.

"...I can feel it. I can still feel my Innate Dharma that was stolen from ."

"Brother, you can?"

Ha-Yoon who had been silently listening by the side said in shocked. Sol also looked surprised at Son’s words.

"Yes, I don’t know who has it, or where it is. I might not even be able to find it even if it was right in front of , but I can definitely feel that it’s still out there, being used by soone else."

Sol silently contemplated Son’s words.

"Brother Sol..."

With a solemn expression, Son got up and bowed towards Sol with cupped fists.

"...Even though we’re friends, I could not ask this of you at first before, but now I’ve mustered up enough courage to request this of you. Please Brother Sol, in the future, if you ever find the person who took my Innate Dharma, who murdered Song-Oh and Seon, please ripped them to shreds for !"

Son bowed his head even further.

"Is that why you told about your second Innate Dharma?"

Son nodded while his head was still lowered.

Sol sighed and said.

"Brother Son, raise your head. Even if you did not ask, I would have felt too much anger to just ignore what happened to Sister Seon and Brother Song-Oh."

Son got up and patted Son on his shoulder before adding.

"Besides, you guys are my friends. My Father always told I should cherish those closest to ."

Son felt like a massive weight had been lifted off his shoulders and tears well up in his eyes.

"Thank you, Brother Sol. I know the burden I’m placing on you is sothing I should carry myself, but I’m afraid I’ll never be strong enough in this lifeti."

Sol shook his head.

"I’ll co to visit you in the future, okay?"

Son nodded before the two share a hug.

Afterward, Sol called for Little Zeel.

"Goodbye big sister Ha-Yoon."

Snort!

"Who’s your big sister?"

Sol forced a smile before he said goodbye to Son and then left.

After Sol left, Son turned to the upset Ha-Yoon and said.

"Are you sure you’re going to let him leave like that?"

"Bah! Who cares about that pervert?"

Son’s expression beca serious all of a sudden.

"Ha-Yoon, you should know that Brother Sol isn’t soone ordinary. In the future, even Kings and Emperors wouldn’t breathe too heavily in his presence. People like us will be forgotten, and even if Brother Sol makes an effort to interact with us, he’ll be too high up to truly see us. That is the only reason why I lowered myself and asked him to take revenge for Song-Oh and Seon. He’ll be able to do it."

"You’re just saying that."

Ha-Yoon retorted, but a bit of doubt had crept into her heart.
