The Guardian gods Chapter 147

Mahu heard Ikenga words blushed as she looked to the side and muttered "I thought you were going to be punished for breaking a law if you continued"

"Oh" Ikenga Said as he looked back to the screen when all of a sudden his face scrunched as he looked back at Mahu who acted like nothing happened.

"What you kick for?" Ikenga thought to himself while massaging his legs.

"Why can’t they hear your voice and why is the mana reacting so strongly?" Keles asked, rolling her eyes at the two siblings’ behavior.

Nana spoke up this "I have an idea on why"

The gods looked at her so she continued "Ikenga thought he could bypass the imposed rule but everything is well covered, anything you could think of on countering the rule has already been thought of by those who uphold balance"

"The mana aggressive reaction is one of those obstacles that steps in when a god tries to find a loophole and the reason they bleed is because your words is no longer translated to mortal words for them instead you are directly speaking the language of the gods to them and no weak mortals survives the power in the words to speak about it"

"It’s good you stopped when you did or else the two mortal kings and queens would be now dead" Nana did, causing Ikenga to frown.

"So the rule is truly absolute" Jaws asked with a heavy tone.

"Grab my hands" Ikenga said as he took hold of Mahu’s hand, establishing the connection with the divine weapons again. Ikenga then willed for the connection to beco a tunnel where Mahu was able to go through to gain access to the weapon.

Down in the silver kingdom, Einar and Helga stood up weakly as they held onto each other for support while the floor they were standing on was filled with blood.

Soon in the surprised eyes of the two, they watched as the purple light surrounding their weapons parted and gave way to a presence similar to both of them.

"The goddess" They both said as they quickly took a knee to bow down, Mahu who was able to extend her presence was taken back by their actions and seeing how wounded they were she wanted to help them.

"Take no action and rember not to talk, just find a way to transmit what you want to inform them on" Mahu heard Ikenga voice stopping her action.

Sighing, Mahu tried to project what she wanted to say but prying was happening until Ikenga said "Let help"

All of a sudden both the weapons changed position pointing in the direction of Björn, Einar and Helga still had a hard ti understanding what was going on when the weapons innate power began showing.

They both stood up at the sa ti to look at where the weapon was pointing at and said "Björn" seeing that both humans understood their ssage Ikenga pulled back on the connection causing the weapon to fall back on the ground.

At the ethereal space, both Mahu and Ikenga were drawn back at the sa ti, Mahu looked at Ikenga "do you think they understood our ssage?"

"They got his na right, and for them nothing good cos from that na so they can make the connections themselves, you already did the best you can" Ikenga said as he waved his hands to Mahu to show that everything is alright.

"Amazing brother" said Crepuscular as he and his brothers were able to see everything that happened and how the two humans got the information.

"Does that an, we can exact so power no matter how superficial it is?" Keles asked, looking at Ikenga.

Ikenga showed a thinking look "It indeed is possible but the situations have to be right, like for example a connection was made because of tracing back the power I left on the weapons"

"The other condition is sothing I am not quite sure of like how capable the said weapon or artifact we plan on using to project ourselves, the weapon those two humans had was good but I felt if I pushed a bit more the weapons would be destroyed so a capable weapon is required" Ikenga said rubbing his chin.

Jaws anwhile was staring at Mahu "why did you want to inform the humans about the demon"

Mahu was taken back by the question "we just saw how capable the demon is, sending my son there isn’t sothing smart and the demon is after the humans. I thought since I can’t send my son, I could at least inform the humans, they may put a capable fight if they know earlier that they are about to be attacked"

"Why are you asking, brother?" Mahu asked back confused.

Lightning began cracking around jaw as he said "I find your previous behaviour undeserving of a god, acting as a direct ssenger to mortals"

There was silence after Jaw’s words before a pressure descended on everyone. Ikenga felt the pressure reminded him of his past life, the feeling he got when he knew that he made his mother angry.

And that was what was exactly happening, Mahu was angry and the effect was being felt by everyone. It took so ti before Mahu responded coldly back to Jaws "Those mortals as you all refer to them are my children, no one and I an any one will ever tell on how I treat my children"

Looking at Mahu, the other gods eyes flashed as they thought to themselves "Divinity?, her divinity is affecting her"

Jaws was also able to pick up on that so the lightning around him disappeared as he said calmly "if that is how it is to you sister then I apologize"

The apology seed to be what cald Mahu down as the pressure disappeared. Mahu exhaled slowly, her anger dissipating as she nodded in acknowledgent.

"Thank you" she said, her tone softer now. Nana as always stood aside like a silent observer but seeing how things were handled a smile blossod on her face.

Ikenga knew that everyone was feeling a bit edgy with just learning of new rules and what not since they woke, so the very little things are easy to tick anyone off.

"I think we all should head back ho and get ourselves accustod to things before we have any other etings" No words were said back as Portals to different realms opened up with the gods each going back their own way not even exchanging a word of goodbye.

Ikenga shook his head before a portal to his realm opened too when he was held back by Mahu who ca out from her own portal, Mahu turned her gaze to Ikenga, gratitude shining in her eyes. "Thank you, brother, for your guidance and for standing by ."

Ikenga smiled warmly at her. "Always, sister"

There was a bit of silence before Mahu asked Ikenga "Do you want to co over for a bit to my realm?"

A contemplating eyes flashed Ikenga’s eyes before he shook his head and walked into his portal his voice echoing back to Mahu "I will visit you when i am free"

Mahu watched him go as she muttered to herself "idiot" With a smile on her face.

anwhile back at Björn palace who has now cald down from the pressure he was under, "I need to act fast, if the gods have already turned their attention to this side"

Saying that he muttered to the empty palace room "Go gather the generals"

A tall slender shadowy figure walked out from behind a pillar before bowing to Björn and answered "Understood"

As the shadowy figure disappeared to carry out Björn’s orders, the demon lord sat upon his throne, deep in thought. His generals would need to be briefed on the imminent attack on the Silver Kingdom. Björn knew that ti was of the essence, and every mont wasted could potentially strengthen the kingdom’s defenses.

Monts later, his generals assembled before him, each exuding an aura of power and Tempered savagery with their very distinct animalistic looks.

"Finn, Olav, Johan, Sigmund, Hans, Otto, Ralph," Björn addressed them, his voice carrying authority and nace. "Our ti to strike at the Silver Kingdom has been pushed forward because of so uncertainties. We must move swiftly and decisively to crush any resistance they may muster."

Finn, Now a towering figure with eyes like smoldering coals, stepped forward. "My lord, we stand ready to unleash your forces upon the kingdom. The armies of madness await your command."

Björn nodded, acknowledging Finn’s loyalty. "Good. But we must be strategic in our approach. The Silver Kingdom is not to be underestimated. They may have allies, both mortal and divine, who may co to their aid."

Olaf, Björn’s brother who has always been a cunning strategist with a penchant for deception, spoke next. "I suggest we infiltrate their ranks, sow seeds of discord and fear, and weaken their resolve from within."

Björn considered Olav’s suggestion, tapping his clawed fingers thoughtfully. "Yes, subterfuge will serve us well. But we must also prepare for direct confrontation since our goal is nothing short of the kingdom’s total annihilation."
