The Guardian gods Chapter 179

Ikenga and Mahu soon felt their presence and eyes disappearing. Looking at Mahu Ikenga opened up a portal which led to his mother’s realm but as he was about to walk through it, he was held back.

Looking back at Mahu who was holding his hand with her head down to hide her embarrassnt, Ikenga heard her whisper "I am sorry?"

Putting both his hands on her face and raising it, Ikenga said "You have no need to apologize to Mahu, I was no angry at you just disappointed at your lack of control"

She pushed herself a bit up looking at Ikenga, Knowing what she wanted. Ikenga smiled before giving her a kiss.

"I didn’t lose control, Ikenga. I Felt that I had to retaliate sohow as it seems that among the other gods, I just let things happen on my side" Mahu said, a bit frustrated.

Iikenga nodded hearing her word before answering "You aren’t the only one feeling that, we all do as we know sooner or later such things will also happen in our own continent and we can’t do nothing about it"

Mahu was about to say sothing, but Ikenga shushed her by putting a finger on her lips "I know what you are about to say, "Why does it seem like we don’t care?" We do sister only that we know how to stay back and observe which is sothing you should be doing"

The mortal was strong and the god is equally as strong. At the end of the long fight the mortal managed to kill the god before a godhead replica ca from the god’s corpse rging with the mortal.

At the sa ti of rging, the screen changed rapidly like it was fastforwarding but it wasn’t. Instead it was showing how every mortal in that world went into a blank state before going back to normal.

The scene changed back to the humanoid who rged with the godhead now healed up and using the divinities of the godhead but there was no happiness on its face at that, soon the scene changed the humanoid was besieged by another humanoid that looks like it and so not. One of them was able to deal a decisive blow killing the humanoid when the sa godhead erged rging with the new humanoid. Unlike the last rging, this one was different as planet consciousness appeared, raising the new god throne. At the sa ti the planet consciousness seems to look beyond smiling at the gods watching the view.

Nana smiled back, waving away the screen. Jaws a bit flabbergasted said "She smiled at us, does that an she could see us"
