An Xiaxia walked into the reception room in bafflement, while Jiang closed the door for them. (How considerate!)
The light was dim inside and she couldn’t see the look on Sheng Yize’s face clearly, which was half-hidden in shadow.
“Sheng Yize, are you alright? Do you need a doctor?” An Xiaxia ran to him anxiously. Sheng Yize’s eyes looked darker than usual and his voice was husky. “I’m fine.”
“But you look awful…” An Xiaxia was concerned. “How about I go get you some painkillers?”
She turned to leave, but before she could take another step, she was yanked back and swung around. The next second, she was pinned down on the table in the reception room.
“Hm…” Her bright black eyes looked utterly confused and her eyelashes were quivering. “What’s wrong?”
Sheng Yize kept a straight face and said nothing, but his fingers had skillfully made their way into her clothes and up her body.
An Xiaxia blushed. “No… not here…”
Arching his eyebrows, Sheng Yize bit her earlobe. “Right here!”
