“Hm…” An Xiaxia struggled in pain.
Mu Li’s eyes were bloodshot red. As she choked An Xiaxia, she screamed like a crazy woman, “Give me back my baby… Give it back!”

Qi Yanxi, who had just arrived at the news, heard those words in the doorway. His face turned grim.
“That’s enough!” Qi Yanxi marched in and pulled Mu Li to her feet. “Go back to your room!”
Mu Li clasped his hands and begged. “Yanxi… Our baby is gone. An Xiaxia did it! It’s all her fault! Kill her and her baby and our child can e back…”
Qi Yanxi frowned. “Are you crazy? Even if she’s dead, our child isn’t going to e back! Mu Li, stop this nonsense!”
His deep voice woke Mu Li up like a thunderbolt.
Her mouth fell open as she stared blankly at Qi Yanxi.
“Do you think… it was my fault?” she asked gingerly like an innocent girl.

They bumped into Sheng Yize, who had just e back.
Sheng Yize raised an eyebrow. “What’s going on?”
Qi Yanxi said embarrassedly, “Mu Li is a little unstable mentally… you, well… it’s a long story. I’ll keep her under control.”
He tried his best to look for a way out for Mu Li, but she wouldn’t take it. Grinning, she said to Sheng Yize, “Why isn’t your baby dead?”
