A couple of minutes later, Lan Yu said frankly, “I do.”
Meng Xingzhou smiled bitterly.
“The news about Yize and Xiaxia, was it your doing?”
So, he had heard.
Lan Yu took a deep breath and didn’t try to keep it from him. “Yes, I leaked the news.”
Blue veins popped up on the back of Meng Xingzhou’s hands as he said in vexation, “Why did you do it? Xiaoyu, you know perfectly well that he’s my nephew!”
“Heh.” Lan Yu gave him an alluring smile. “Meng Xingzhou, you think too highly of yourself. Officially, I’m still nothing to you. He’s your nephew, but not mine. Why can’t I do it?”
Meng Xingzhou pulled over to the side of the road and looked at Lan Yu in disbelief.
“I thought there was only ‘we’ and ‘ours’ now.”
“You never gave us the chance to bee ‘we,’” said Lan Yu calmly. She then opened the door and left.

An Xiaxia was still half-asleep when she heard Sheng Yize murmur something in her ear. She only picked up some words like “reporter” and “interview.”
“Hm…” Wrapping her duvet tighter around herself, she didn’t want to get up.
Sheng Yize chuckled. “Well, it’s only a little past five. Go back to sleep.”
He straightened his clothes in front of the mirror to make sure everything looked perfect, then left the room.
A famous reporter was already waiting for him in the suite next door.
The female reporter was exhilarated to see Sheng Yize. “Captain Yize…. I mean, Mr. Sheng, we never expected that you would agree to do the interview! I’m a big fan…”
“Thank you.” Sheng Yize nodded politely. “May we start now?”
