The guards at the entrance of the National Teacher’s residence reported their arrival as soon as they saw Ya Molian and Lin Caisang. Without waiting for National Teacher Suyang to co out to greet them, another guard ushered Ya Molian and his companion inside.
“Isn’t this inappropriate? Shouldn’t we report upon entering?” Lin Caisang asked one of the guards as she followed Ya Molian inside.
“Miss, the National Teacher gave orders that there was no need for reporting when you co,” the guard replied, glancing back at her, then at Ya Molian.
However, the National Teacher probably didn’t expect Prince Mo to accompany Lin Caisang on the visit.
“I see,” Lin Caisang nodded.
Over a month had passed, so the National Teacher’s residence was no longer draped in white, but it remained very quiet. After all, Suri had been Suyang’s only son. How could he recover so quickly from his grief?
