But now, he couldn’t possibly replace Zhe Feng with soone else that he brought, and even if he did switch him out, the attitude of these people towards them would remain unchanged.
He let out a heavy sigh, truly unwilling to speak further with Zhe Feng, and turned to look at Captain Liu.
"Captain, this friend of mine, sotis when he speaks or acts, he’s rather single-minded. Please don’t take it to heart; it’s not worth it. If he has offended you in any way, I apologize on his behalf."
He said to Captain Liu, as he still needed Captain Liu’s help; he couldn’t afford for everyone to ignore them, could he?
"Young master..."
Zhe Feng, seeing his master lower his face to apologize to Captain Liu to gain his favor, felt deeply uncomfortable.
His master was a man of high status; how could he apologize to soone like Captain Liu?
"Shut up, you fool! I haven’t seen you do a single good deed, only a slew of troubleso things. Now you’ve even dared to offend the Captain, truly remarkable of you!"
Seeing him about to speak, Lu Tianfeng sharply interrupted him.
If he let him continue, how would they proceed to the North Residence? That place wasn’t sowhere they could reach on their own; they needed many stepping stones to get there.
He needed Captain Liu and his people, or at least to persuade Captain Liu to coax Lin Caisang and Yuan Jue’s teams to go along as stepping stones!
"Aren’t you going to apologize to the Captain?!"
"Yes, young master."
Zhe Feng had no choice but to suppress his anger and turn to Captain Liu.
"Captain, it was my fault earlier; I shouldn’t have spoken harshly to you. I was just too worried about my master. I hope you can be magnanimous and not hold it against ."
This ti, he endured, but once they were out of the North Residence, he would make sure these people all died!
However, whether they could leave the North Residence was still in question.

Captain Liu listened to them, replying simply with a smile.
He had long seen through the true faces of these two people; it was just not the right ti to fall out with them.
As for how to deal with these two going forward, he certainly wouldn’t foolishly follow their lead to oppose Lin Caisang and compete over spoils with them.
That would simply fall into their trap; these two likely wanted to use others to achieve so goal of theirs, right?
"You’re all still injured, so don’t say too much. Since we’re staying here tonight, get so rest. Tomorrow, we’ll set out with everyone else."
He said to them.
"Tomorrow... set out?"
Lu Tianfeng almost couldn’t process this information.
What journey tomorrow? Although he hoped to set out for the North Residence tomorrow, what journey did the others need to make? Or did they already decide on a destination?
"Where are we going, Captain?" he asked.
"Don’t know."
Captain Liu replied directly with those three words.
He had no idea where they were going, only knew to follow Lin Caisang’s lead.
Previously, he had heard Lin Caisang and Yuan Jue ntion that they would depart the next day, after resting for a night once Sui Zimo erged from the Bitter Thoughts Pavilion, heading to another place.
As for where that place was, he truly did not know.
