The Hero Became a Succubus, and the Only Way to Level is to… What?! Chapter 501 – The Fallen Kingdom
Kanae erged from Eliza's tower a little more inford about the mysterious sorceress than a day ago. Her desperation and fear. Alleia's folly. The undead's unending march for rest. She only wished there was more to do for Eliza. Maybe if Gretchen's rebellion hadn't happened, she would have had ti under her tutelage to learn more. But that was in the past. Like Eliza, she had the past to look forward to and shape.
Maybe Demon Lord Charron knew more. His kingdom bordered Alleia, and it could have been part of the bygone civilization once. As allies, he might be willing to share. Kanae should send a letter. Tis like this, she missed having cell phones for instant contact.
"Wait a minute. Andora was around. I can ask her," Kanae wondered aloud.
Except, she had no idea where to find Andora. Lately, the vassal of the Brightwind-Toyomi family had been reluctantly helping out with Bright Cloister matter. Arenade might know.
Kanae ascended her castle in search of Arenade, beginning with their bedchamber. Her high elven wife wasn't in, as expected. She headed to Arenade's personal room next.
"Shit. I still hadn't taken care of the other simulacra." Kanae reached the room, but the door was locked.
Suspicious. She couldn't hear a thing pressing an ear to the door. That didn't an soone wasn't in there though. While Kanae considered looking for Alicia to make use of her skills to open the door, she spotted an open window farther down the corridor instead. She flew outside, then circled around to Arenade's room.
Sure enough, the windows were open. The drapes had been pulled shut, but they swayed listlessly from the gentle sumr breeze. Kanae caught a whiff of sweat and musk. She parted the heavy silk curtains with two fingers and peered in.
Inside, Arenade bounced feverishly on top of a goblin simulacrum in bed while surrounded by three more. Her lips were fastened on one dick, while the remaining two rubbed theirs against her nipples.
"Mmmh! Nasty goblins… You're always looking at … like I'm a piece of at… No different than how Kanae sees — ahh! There's no way I'd orgasm from being taken like this… Ughhh… Spray it on my face! No, I don't! I an, yes! Just give it to and finish already!" Arenade cried.
The two simulacra to her side blew their loads all over her breasts. Arenade took her mouth off the third to have it give her a facial. She wasn't quite done yet. Being covered in goblin cum seed to flip a switch. The high elf prude grinded her hips more intensely. The revulsion on her face warped into fits of twitching ecstasy. Her own hands rubbed and spread the fresh cum on herself as if it were lotion.
Kanae couldn't believe it. Well, she could. Arenade wasn't exactly always honest with herself.
"I'm cumming… these goblins are making cum— aaaaahhhhhhh!" Arenade threw her head back at the apex of euphoria. She collapsed into bed, breath hoarse from moaning like a beast. The simulacra fell into a practiced motion of splitting up to massage each of her limbs. They pampered her like a spoiled princess. A cum-drenched one.
Having seen enough, Kanae entered the room with a smug grin. Arenade hadn't noticed yet. She was lying in bed with her eyes closed, enjoying the massage and afterglow of her gangbang.
"Ah~ Keep this up for another hour, then pile yourselves into the bathroom again to pretend you're out cold," Arenade instructed the simulacra.
"Would you also like to fetch you so wine and cheese?" Kanae offered.
"That sounds—" The high's eyes snapped open. "KANAE?! Why are you back so soon? Alicia said y-y-you left sowhere with Eliza! Th-This isn't what it looks like! They attacked suddenly, because you didn't get rid of them like I asked!"
"Oh, yeah? So, when you asked them to spray it on your face, that was also them attacking you suddenly?" She folded her arms.
Arenade's face turned bright red. The high elf clamored out of bed, crawling right up to Kanae and grabbed her.
"Please, don't tell anyone! My reputation will be ruined! Empress Arenade? Demigoddess Arenade? A goblin-fucker? No one would ever take seriously again! I'll be the laughing stock for the next millennia. Gods and mortals alike will—"
"Turn Horny." Kanae casted on her.
"Hiiieeeee!" Arenade shuddered on the brink of climax.
"I'm not going to tell anyone," she said, much to Arenade's relief. "Buuuut, I have a hard ti keeping promises while pent-up. Especially after Eliza blew off. Eat my pussy, you goblin-fucker."
Arenade resigned herself and drew forward with her tongue outstretched. Kanae trembled to her high elven wife's lapping. She missed this. The sight of Arenade, desperately trying to inflict pleasure.
"That's it… just a little more…" Kanae grabbed the back of Arenade's head and pushed her closer.
"Mmmh! Mmrrph!" The vibrations from Arenade's mouth and lips tipped her over the edge.
When the dam broke, Kanae pulled Arenade up and kissed her. Their tongues jousted. Saliva trickled down their chins. Arenade struggled to breathe with their lips locked so tightly.
"Pwuah… What… you're trying to suck… the life out of …" Arenade panted when they parted at last.
"I just thought you were so cute, I couldn't help but kiss you." Kanae grinned.
"Eh?" The high elf reddened again and twirled a lock of her disheveled golden hair, this ti looking more shy. "D-Don't think you're off the hook. I told you to get rid of the simulacra, and you didn't. But they can… stay. For now! This stays between us though!"
"Yeah, yeah." She laughed.
They cleaned up the ss Arenade had made with the simulacra and replaced the bed with fresh sheets. Kanae ordered them back into the bathrooms where they would stay until further use. Probably until tonight, given Arenade's blossoming proclivity for goblin cock. anwhile, she told her all about what happened with the missing simulacrum.
"That's… tragic," Arenade said. "See, I knew Edina was incompetent with her necromancy. She couldn't even detect there were traces of a soul in her undead! I do feel sorry for the guy though. Art's his na? Maybe it's my demigoddess role speaking, but he should be exorcised and allowed to move onto the next life."
"We're putting a stay on that option for now. I made the mistake of giving Art life, so it's my responsibility to let him live comfortably. Anyway, I ca looking for you because I wanted to find Andora. I've got questions about a destroyed civilization called Alleia. Unless you might know?" Kanae suggested.
"Alleia? Alleia… Hmmm. I only know about as much as your average anthropological scholar. They tampered with magic they shouldn't— like you and simulacra— and paid the price. Mrr… I draw a blank the more I try and think about it," she explained.
Kanae rolled her eyes at being made an example. Arenade drawing a blank must be the Supre One's doing. There was a lot of information he locked his subordinate out of after turning her mortal. If Kanae wanted to find out more, it had to be discovered the normal way.
"If you're looking for Andora though, she's at my temple. I'll take you there!" Arenade insisted excitedly.
"The temple… as in your temple of Bright Cloister?" Kanae didn't like where this was going.
They hailed a Rown carriage bound for Arenade's cult in Heartgrove District. The whitestone temple neared completion. Mosaic stained glass windows depicted Demigoddess Arenade in all her splendor. Four modest steeples were erected at each corner of the sanctuary. Ivory-robed followers of Bright Cloister loitered about the courtyard, while so left to go preaching to unfortunate citizens.
More and more won grew out their hair and dyed blonde to feel even a little bit closer to their patron goddess. It was all just so… weird.
"Arenade!" One follower bowed, and others followed suit as Kanae and Arenade strolled through the courtyard.
"I have returned, my dear flock!" Arenade exclaid, basking in their worship.
"Hey, you went and shut down their claims that joining Bright Cloister would cure the sick, right?" Kanae whispered.
"What do you take for? Of course, I did! I'd love more adherents, but I draw the line at lying to get people to join. Professionals have standards." She turned her nose to the sky and smiled.
When they entered the temple, a low hum and chorus held a constant note. The main worship hall was a larger chamber where followers were seated in cushions on the floor. Won taking Arenade's appearance, donning silver tiaras and eye veils, led groups in quiet chants.
"Who are they?" Kanae asked.
"Huh? Oh, those are Arenites. My most fervent devotees. Bright Cloister's getting too big for to manage, so I'm selecting the chosen among the flock to lead," Arenade explained.
Kanae didn't question it. At least when it ca to Bright Cloister, she learned that it was sotis better not to ask.
The two proceeded down a side hall where large casks were being carted into the basent cellar. They descended only for Kanae to find out that it was an entire wine cellar. Andora Sempter was down here, too. The short and bespectacled high elven woman directed people where to store what, occasionally barking at them to be careful. Forrly Fourth Captain of the Lights of Capillis, she was now another vassal loyal to Arenade Brightwind like Wendy Ironspear.
"Good afternoon, Your Majesties." Andora bowed her head.
"Andora, Kanae was looking for you. I'm heading back upstairs. I'll be in my office if you need ." Arenade perused the long rows of wine racks until finding sothing she liked and plucked it out.
Andora waited until Arenade had ascended up the steps, then beckoned Kanae to follow her to a remote part of the cellar. She grabbed by the straps of Matron's Regalia and slamd her into the wall.
"What the?!" Kanae gasped.
"You've got to do sothing about Arenade! Everyone here is crazy! I've never seen such blind devotion before. They pray all day— if you can call it prayer— but really, it's just constant praise and complints to the demigoddess. Last night, the Arenites held a sermon where they chanted, 'Demigoddess Arenade is beautiful and great!' over and over and over again… THAT'S NOT PRAYING! They're driving nuts!" Andora whispered frantically, eyes bloodshot.
"Calm down!" She chard her into taking deep, controlled breaths. "I know Bright Cloister's been getting a little fanatical. But there's nothing I can really do. Arenade's dead set on keeping her fandom going. If anything, she's more inclined to listen to you than ."
She heaved a sigh. "I was born to fight undead, not store wine and corral worshippers… Oh, Arenade said you were looking for ? Is there sothing you need?"
Kanae expressed interest in the fallen civilization of Alleia, and Andora's eyes twitched with recognition. There was a brief hint of resistance, most likely a vestige stemming from when she served as a Light of Capillis. But she ultimately relented.
"I'm not sure where you heard that kingdom from, but it's best to leave them buried where they belong," Andora warned.
"A good friend of mine is Alleian. You can probably guess what that ans?" Kanae asked.
Andora grabbed a bottle of wine down from the shelf behind them, then whistled for a nearby Bright Cloister mber to bring two glasses. She poured a drink for each of them.
"My house's service under Lord Charron and Sire Arys of Capillis earned my ancestors' rits. Circumstances forced us to pick up the sword, but we were historians mostly. The records in our high elven enclave of Capillis have been scrubbed of any ntion of Alleia. However, a single journal escaped purge and survived in my family's hands. In it, I learned the Kingdom of Alleia's end ca between Lord Charron's reign and around the Empire of Ortesia's founding."
"If I'm rembering my history lessons in Knights' Academy correctly, that's about… one thousand years ago. High elves fled across the sea because of the demons and succubi in the north, right?" Kanae asked.
She nodded. "Yes, ma'am. That was also around when mine and the other Capillis' high elven ancestors were left behind on this continent. Anyway, according to the journal, Lord Charron forbade any dealings with Alleia. They were too haughty. Sure, they were humans, but they shared Ortesian high elven arrogance. That was dangerous."
"Because of their inventions?"
"Yes, but there was a bigger problem. Do you know who the devil of green and ambition is?" the high elf tested her.
"Hax'gorah." Kanae cursed his na.
The very sa devil that nearly took Edina and once inhabited the Pillar of the Damned.
