The glass doors slid open automatically as we walked toward them. I wonder what kind of chanism powers that? The interior was just as stunning. It was more luxurious than any castle I'd ever seen.

"Is this also from your country, Daji-san?" I asked.

"No, this is a style I am unfamiliar with."

"If anything, it resembles the castle where I used to live," Carmilla-san remarked.

I had heard that high-end hotels usually required them. If they were full, we'd have no choice but to go elsewhere.

"Ahahaha, it's perfectly fine!" the clerk said. "In the past, we were packed and required reservations, but lately, due to the recession, we're quite empty, as you can see."

Now that they ntioned it, the lobby did feel deserted.

"It certainly is quiet," I observed.

"Business was booming in the past, but lately, we've fallen on hard tis," the clerk sighed. "It seems few people can afford three silver coins a night… I miss the era of Ceres-sama and King Zect. The reception desk is over there."

Looking nearby, I saw what appeared to be a festival plaza. There were stalls similar to the ones I'd seen earlier, and a souvenir shop. It was amazing to have all of this inside the hotel.

I walked straight to the reception desk.

"Welco! Will you be staying with us?" the receptionist asked.

"Yes, for now, please book us in for five nights for all seven of us. I'd like the most luxurious rooms you have available," I said.

The facilities were top-tier, and I was sure a room in a pri location would offer an incredible view. Plus, it looked like we could have plenty of fun just exploring the hotel itself. I had a feeling this place would be a hit.

"Five nights? Understood. I will prepare rooms on the top floor with an ocean view," the receptionist replied.

"I appreciate it," I said.

I couldn't wait to see the view.

"Very well, I will begin the check-in process."

Everyone else had already drifted off toward the festival plaza. Coming on this trip, I realized Daji-san actually had a childlike side to her. Well, that was just part of her charm.

Everyone was playing ring toss. Ring toss? I wondered if you actually won a prize if you managed to hook one of the items.

"How's it going?" I asked.

"Serena-sama… it's so easy to win prizes here!"

"I'll take that one," Daji-sama said.

"I'd like that one over there," Hera-sama replied.

Everyone was already holding a mountain of prizes.

"Guests… I apologize, but you are far too skilled!" the vendor cried. "Please, I must ask you to stop with the rings you have left."

Since Fleur-san and Rosario-san weren't missing a single shot, the staff really didn't have much of a choice. They had already collected about thirty items.
