Vieya hadn’t felt this happy in a long ti.
After finding Flaviel again, she felt as if everything had returned to her own playing field.
But since there was still a fox present, she couldn’t exactly start acting affectionate in public.
Besides, judging from the timing, Luna and the others would probably be arriving soon.
She needed to think ahead about how to explain this whole situation smoothly.
So... how should I explain it?
Say, “Everyone, this is my girlfriend. Nice to et you all, please take care of us”?
That would feel the most straightforward and refreshing—but if she actually ◆ Nоvеlіgһt ◆ (Only on Nоvеlіgһt) said it, how would she ever show her face among humans again?
And... how long would this “wife” even last? What if she suddenly deflated and vanished again in a few days?
Would she have to go through another public heartbreak?
Wait—why another one...?
Vieya groaned inwardly. It was hard. She propped her chin on her hand, thinking deeply.
Then suddenly, a spark of inspiration hit. She lifted her finger with an “Ah!”
I’ve got a plan!
“What’s wrong? You finally have so ti, and you’re just going to leave standing here?”
Having waited without any response, Flaviel was growing annoyed. She walked up, took Vieya’s hand, then glanced back at the dazed white-haired fox behind them, and smiled softly.
“In the travel plan ahead, I don’t mind having a pet accompany us.”
Vieya was still focused on refining her plan, so she nodded automatically, like a machine.
But on the other side, the fox Hu Xiaoqi—who’d just been categorized as a pet—was outraged. What was this Demon King doing?!
Shouldn’t she be going berserk right now, unleashing chaos and battle, forcing the little sli and her to join forces in a fierce struggle and then sealing her back in ti again?
But no!
Why did she co out of the formation just to flirt with the little sli?! Hugging her hand so intimately—what a shaless Demon King! You’re a disgrace to demonkind!
Of course, she didn’t dare say that aloud. She bit her tail fur and fud silently, her mood dark.
No... I can’t just watch this.
I have to do sothing...
But the Demon King’s aura was terrifying.
The mont she tried to stand, she instinctively crouched back down, nibbling her tail fur again, eyes full of helpless resentnt.
“Ahem... there might be others who recognize you later, people who know your identity as the Demon King.” Vieya leaned against Flaviel’s shoulder, whispering. “I might have to lie a bit when they show up, so you have to cooperate with , alright?”
“Cooperate?”
Flaviel’s golden eyes glimred; she tapped her cheek and smiled with her eyes half-closed.
“Co kiss , and I’ll cooperate.”
“There are people around. It’d look bad.”
“Is that so...? Well, I did just absorb the ti energy from those crystals, so maybe my head’s still not entirely clear. If I accidentally say sothing wrong in front of your friends later, don’t bla , little Ye~” Flaviel sighed dramatically.
“You can’t do that!”
“I don’t want to either, but... my mouth just won’t listen to .”
Flaviel didn’t care about being watched. In fact, the more people around, the more excited she seed to get. She teasingly pointed to her lips.
“Who knows—maybe if you kiss them, they’ll start behaving~”
Was this really sothing a Demon King should be saying?
Not only did Vieya’s face turn bright red, even the little fox’s did.
Though, one was blushing from embarrassnt—
and the other from sheer frustration.
Vieya felt torn, terrified even. Back then, she’d been bold with such things, but now... in this body of a sli girl, to kiss her wife—
and in front of a fox she’d barely known for half a day!
It was just a kiss, right? Nothing major... right? Right?
People always said that once a bad habit started, it’d snowball downhill, never to return to innocence.
Wait—why am I getting excited just thinking about this? That’s not right!
No, absolutely not.
I already have a daughter. I must set an example, show restraint, be a good role model!
Thinking that, Vieya averted her eyes. “Just once, then. Now’s not the ti for this kind of thing... consider it a generous reward from .”
“Mmm~” Flaviel humd with a teasing drawl. “Then I’ll do as you say.”
“And, after that—about the plan I ntioned, you have to follow the details I—mmph!”
Vieya was still outlining her plan, but Flaviel was already putting her own into action.
She wrapped her arms tightly around Vieya and pressed her lips against hers, silencing every unfinished word.
Vieya froze, wide-eyed, her erald eyes round as glass. Her hands instinctively pressed against Flaviel’s chest, as if to push her away—
but she didn’t actually push hard.
“Mmm! Didn’t we agree—just one kiss? What are you—mmph—doing?! Has it really only been a few years?!”
“Mmm—let go—mmph!”
Across the room—
Hu Xiaoqi stood frozen like a dead tree. She could only watch as her beloved little sli was overwheld, pinned against the wall, completely dominated by the newly revived Demon King.
“I-I-I... this is... this is too much...”
She finally mustered the courage to stand, biting her lip and shouting,
“You vile Demon King! I’ll—”
But halfway through, the sweet, breathy moans of the little sli’s voice shattered her courage completely.
“Stop! Stop right now! The guest’s body hasn’t recovered yet—doing that will hurt her!”
Hu Xiaoqi’s face was as red as an apple. Whether from outrage, embarrassnt, or both, even she couldn’t tell.
The exhausted sli girl was finally released. Vieya gasped for breath, glaring with flushed cheeks. “You... you’re cheating! Ignoring serious matters just to fool around! Your brain must have lted... hey—mmph—don’t co any closer—mmph!”
“Don’t squeeze my chest—please—mmph! You just wait, you—!”
Vieya writhed between pleasure and humiliation. Her clear, bright eyes slowly dimd. She swallowed her sha, burned it into mory, and vowed—next ti she t the loli-form Demon King, she would take her revenge.
You just wait... mmph... though my chest still hurts... when will this end...
A quarter of an hour later—
Disheveled and breathless, Vieya was finally released. Hu Xiaoqi imdiately rushed over, clutching the sli girl’s hand.
“Little fox... you want to try too?” Vieya muttered sideways without thinking.
Smack!
Flaviel’s palm landed squarely on her rear, making her yelp.
“Guest...”
“I was joking.”
“Guest... I ant to say, your other friends have already reached the door.”
“...”
Vieya’s mind went blank. She hurriedly straightened her clothes and hair. Though she had no heartbeat, she could swear sothing was pounding wildly inside her chest.
Panic surged. The clever excuse she’d prepared earlier—gone, completely blank.
Rumble!
A trendous force blasted apart the burning entrance of the theater. Leading the charge was Rania, with a group rushing in behind her.
Ash and dust filled the air. Rania covered her mouth and nose and ran toward the courtyard center.
Her eyes darted around—then fixed on the small pavilion ahead.
Three people?
Vieya looked safe, though her face was a little flushed.
Phew. Rania let out a breath of relief—then frowned again.
Wait... why are there two more people now?
