Now reading: Vol 2. Chapter 156: Elf Sisters from The Hero Who Became a Monster Girl Will Never Fall to Evil, a Action novel by Xxlkk.

So they’re sisters. How co she never ntioned this before?

Probably not sa father and mother. Or maybe they’re just very distant relatives.

Vieya had doubts in her heart, but she didn’t ask further. She simply glanced deeply at the tall-and-small elf pair, then chose to shift the topic.

“Aislin-sis, um... that thing I explained to you in the letter—has there been any new progress?” Vieya asked quietly. Her tone was calm, but those gem-like eyes still revealed a faint unease.

There weren’t many things that could make the lazy sli-girl take initiative. In the past it was leveling up; now it was resurrecting her wife.

For Vieya, the latter was far harder than leveling. Leveling required no thinking—just close her eyes and kill monsters. Kill enough and her level and experience ❀ Nоvеlігht ❀ (Don’t copy, read here) rose at a speed visible to the naked eye.

But the other matter was different. You could never see the “resurrection progress bar.”

Even though Flaviel could occasionally appear as a remnant spirit and even let her touch her once in a while, that incomplete mory, the severely regressed mind, and the fragile spirit-form constantly on the verge of fading away—these were all reminders.

This state would not last.

Like sand falling ceaselessly through an hourglass.

Once the power activated in the broken horn was worn away by ti, even this remnant-spirit Flaviel would slip through her fingers.

Facing the sli-girl’s question, Aislin hesitated.

That slight hesitation made Vieya tense—and made Jasmine behind her secretly perk her ears.

But Aislin didn’t speak directly. Her tone beca subtle. “Little Vieya... let’s discuss that matter when you arrive at our Elven Royal Court, Vilanors. I’m still just a candidate. I can’t make decisions on many things. You’ll need to speak to the Grand Elders yourself.”

“...I see.” Vieya pressed her lips together, lowered her hands to her abdon, and bowed slightly. “Then I’ll trouble you, Aislin-sis.”

“We’re friends, aren’t we?”

Aislin gave a helpless smile. This good friend of hers had a complicated, strange temperant—almost nothing under the heavens seed worthy of her attention. Sotis she was arrogant and unreliable, but when facing sothing that truly mattered to her, she would beco serious and cautious.

Just like now. Even though they were old friends, the mont certain topics were raised, she beca more rigid and solemn than Aislin herself—an elf who was already several centuries old.

“Alright, little Vieya. Do you want to be your guide first—play around Aydin City for a day or two—or should I take you to the Royal Court right away?” Aislin asked gently.

“...Then let’s leave now. We didn’t bring much luggage this ti.” Vieya said with anticipation.

“You’re really in a hurry.” Aislin laughed and shook her head. “Elliti ca with this ti because she wants to buy that piece of Blood-Jade Stone shard in the human town. We just arrived in Aydin and haven’t bought anything yet. We can’t return empty-handed, can we?”

“Ah... that’s fine. The guest follows the host. Buy what you need first, it’s no problem.” Vieya waved her hands repeatedly, but quickly realized sothing strange. “But... why are you buying Blood-Jade Stone? That thing is a by-product born only when a cult altar is destroyed under very specific conditions. It’s practically an embodint of misfortune and foul corruption. Why would your elf clan need sothing like that?”

“That’s... a long story.” Aislin sighed softly. She looked at Elliti, who had her head lowered shyly, and asked gently, “Little sis, can I explain your situation to these two big-sisters?”

“You can, Aislin-sis.” Elliti said quietly. “Sister’s friends... can be trusted... no need to hide...”

“Sounds like a big secret.” Vieya beckoned both elves into the room. “Let’s talk inside.”

After closing the door, Aislin sat on the sofa. Vieya poured warm water for both guests.

“Thank you.”

Aislin accepted the cup, took a sip, and began slowly:

“Our elf race is different from humans—we can interbreed closely. Even so, special individuals will sotis appear. Compared to ordinary elves, these special ones often develop extre or aberrant abilities.”

Vieya nodded. Easy to understand. In ga terms, it was like awakening a high-risk, high-reward special class.

“My little sister here is that kind of special elf—one never recorded in our entire elven history. She is the only one of her kind.” Aislin continued, her tone turning heavy. “As she grows older, she occasionally enters a state of berserk frenzy. This frenzy is uncontrollable, with terrifying destructive power—and severely amplified regeneration.”

“The Elders have tried many healing thods, even ancient sealing techniques, but they cannot restrain her frenzy. Only a certain material inside Blood-Jade Stone can keep her conscious during the frenzy, help her restrain herself, and maintain control until the frenzy ends.”

“I understand.” Vieya evaluated the quiet elf girl sitting obediently on the sofa—soft, cute, with lowered lashes. She tried using the Hero-class exclusive skill—Identify.

Elliti lifted her head slightly, confused, as if sensing sothing.

A line of text appeared before Vieya.

【Mournspirit Elf】

【Na: Elliti】

【Level: 25】

【Origin: Divine blood, resentnt, covenant, broken vow. (Currently in early childhood stage; weaned six months ago.)】

【Abilities: Berserk Frenzy, Self-Devour, Core of Suffering】

【Danger Level: Unknown】

【Notes: A truly rare elf—one before whom even the Bard-God falls silent. For the truth of their nature burns away fairy tales, leaving only divine whispers in the ashes.】

Vieya stared at the results for a mont in silence. No... too few details. Not enough comparison.

She then turned her gaze to Aislin and cast Identify again.

【Sylvanelf】

【Na: Aislin】

【Level: 896】

【Origin: Wood Elf, Royal Bloodline. (Currently in growth stage; future bright.)】

【Abilities: Songblade, Blooming, By the Gods.】

【Danger Level: None】

【Notes: The purest elven bloodline in nearly a thousand years—beloved child of the Goddess of Forest and Moon.】

Well damn. Three years ago she was around Level 700. Now she was nearly 900. Two hundred levels in under three years—both talent and cultivation speed eclipsed most humans.

But...

After calmly reading both appraisal results, Vieya lifted her head, expression strange.

“You two... are really sisters?”

“Of course.” Aislin raised one finger with a smile. “Though technically we’re sisters with different fathers and different mothers. Haha, kidding—but Elliti really is of royal blood. In human terms, she’s my cousin.”

“Your cousin is quite sothing. She’ll accomplish great things.” Vieya nodded in agreent, then steered the conversation back. “So, which rchant guild is storing the Blood-Jade Stone? Or which human faction has it?”

“Neither.” Aislin took another sip to moisten her throat. “This shard of Blood-Jade Stone has been deposited at the Baru Auction House. It will appear in this afternoon’s auction as an A-rank item.”

Saying this, she smiled warmly at the sli-girl, suddenly radiating the aura of a wealthy noblewoman dead set on victory:

“Little Vieya, if you see anything at the auction that you like, just tell . I’ll buy it for you—as a gift.”
