"So, why did you call us, Manager Roland?"

Inside the room, a chef in a professional uniform looked at Roland with a doubtful expression.

The other two chefs standing beside him also appeared confused and uneasy.

They had been busy working in the kitchen when, for so reason, Roland suddenly called them to his office—without any explanation.

Roland looked at them one by one. The chef on the right had a stout build and muscular arms that were clearly visible beneath his uniform.

He was Godric, the current head of the kitchen. Next to him stood a thin man with light brown hair and a pair of sharp green eyes.

That was Evander, the second in command after Godric. And lastly, there was a short, stocky man with slightly thick lips and bushy eyebrows that made his gaze intimidating to anyone who t it.

He was Lucien, the third-ranked chef at the Tears of the Dragon restaurant.

Roland took a deep breath, clasped his hands behind his back, and began, "As you all know, our turnover has been declining over the past few months. I’m sure you’ve noticed it too, right?"

His gaze swept over them, instantly making them lower their heads in guilt.

"I’ve been looking into the reason, and it’s mostly due to the decline in our food quality compared to before. Many custors have complained about the taste, presentation, and overall quality, saying it’s very different from what they used to enjoy."

Sighing deeply, he gave a wry smile and continued, "I don’t bla you. In fact, this problem is quite complicated. The chefs before you were our key staff, but they suddenly resigned all at once, and that completely disrupted our kitchen operations."

"So..." He straightened his posture and turned toward Shion beside him. "The head of the Blue Moon Trading House has personally co to help resolve this crisis. I hope you’ll cooperate with her."

As soon as he ntioned the beautiful woman, the three chefs were taken aback. They looked at Shion in amazent and admiration.

So, she’s Shion, huh? I didn’t expect her to be even more beautiful than the rumors, Godric muttered appreciatively.

From the mont she entered, Godric had been captivated by her beauty.

However, since he didn’t know who she was, he hadn’t dared to act rashly and only greeted her politely.

Evander and Lucien reacted the sa way, though they managed to stay a bit calr than Godric.

"Nice to et you, Godric, Evander, and Lucien," Shion greeted them calmly. "All right, I don’t like small talk. Roland told that the core of the problem lies in your cooking, which is far below the previous standard. So, I’m here to fix it. Are you ready?"

The three of them felt uneasy hearing her words. For chefs, cooking wasn’t just about serving food—it was an art.

They poured their hearts into every dish, hoping people would enjoy it.

However, the opposite happened. Many guests had complained, and that deeply hurt their pride.

Even so, they stayed professional. They couldn’t let their emotions take over just because of criticism.

"We understand!" the three replied in unison.

"Good," Shion nodded in satisfaction, then turned to Nolan and said softly, "I’ll leave it to you, Master."

"Okay." Nolan smiled playfully.

Godric, Evander, and Lucien were stunned once again. They were already surprised by Shion’s presence, but now it turned out there was soone ranked even higher than her?

Wasn’t Shion supposed to be the highest authority in the Blue Moon Trading House?

As confusion filled their minds, Nolan stepped forward calmly, still holding Eliza in his arms.

"All right, you three," Nolan said casually. "We’ll start the test. Cook the best dish you can. Afterward, my sister will judge the results. Don’t worry—she’s an honest person, so her criticism will be direct and to the point. Understood?"

Everyone except Shion froze. At first, they thought Nolan would display so extraordinary skill or sothing impressive.

But unexpectedly, he handed the judging over to... a little girl.

Instinctively, they turned their eyes toward Eliza, who was still resting in Nolan’s arms.

The girl t their gaze with wide, innocent eyes that were simply adorable.

"Um... Leader Shion," Roland called hesitantly. "Is this really okay?"

At first, he believed the young man had his own thods. But wasn’t this one a bit too strange and unreasonable?

Entrusting such an important matter to a little girl didn’t seem like a solution—it sounded more like a recipe for disaster.

Shion simply smiled and waved her hand. "It’s fine. Just leave it to him. I trust him."

Frankly, she didn’t fully understand her master’s intentions either. But she knew Nolan wasn’t the kind of man to act without reason.

If he was confident in what he did, there had to be a purpose behind it.

Roland was at a loss for words. Shion, known as one of the most prestigious leaders, trusted this young man completely.

Moreover, judging from her tone and attitude, it was clear that this young man was far from ordinary.

In the end, Roland could only swallow his doubts and choose to trust her.

"Why are you all just standing there? Prepare the dishes you’re most confident in and bring them here," Nolan ordered calmly.

Godric, Evander, and Lucien exchanged glances and nodded slightly.

"In that case, please wait a mont," Godric replied politely.

The three of them then left Roland’s office and headed to the kitchen.

Nolan turned to Roland and said, "Prepare a long table and three chairs. Place them over there."

He pointed to the back area of the spacious office in front of him.

Roland didn’t dare to argue and imdiately nodded obediently before ordering his staff to set it up.

anwhile, Nolan, Eliza, and Shion sat on the sofa in the middle of the room.

"Master, how are you going to handle this? Can Eliza really do it?" Shion asked curiously, gently pinching Eliza’s cheek.

The little girl looked shy but didn’t pull away. She knew who Shion was—the leader of the Blue Moon Trading House.

In the past, her bespectacled brother had wanted to et this woman but never got the chance. And now, that great figure was speaking to Brother Nolan so politely.

Inevitably, Eliza felt even more curious and full of admiration for her brother.

Nolan chuckled softly and explained, "Eliza has an extraordinary sense of taste. My plan is for her to try the chefs’ dishes and point out the flaws in each one. I’m sure it will work."

He gently patted Eliza’s head. Before leaving for the northern continent, Nolan wanted to make sure the plan to develop Eliza’s talent was complete.

If not, it would be a great loss—especially for Eliza herself.

After all, childhood is brief, and this is the best ti to hone her potential to the fullest.

"So that’s how it is..." Shion nodded in understanding. "Let’s see the results later."
