Seria fell silent, unsure of how to respond. Of course, punishing the man standing before her was out of the question.

mories of their past relationship still lingered in her heart. After all, he had been her first partner.

Her daughter, now the Queen of the Elves, was not her biological child but an orphaned elf she had once co across by chance.

Out of pity, Seria had taken her in, raising her as her own, and eventually she beca the queen of the elves.

Taking a deep breath to calm the turmoil in her heart, Seria said, "No, I won’t punish you. I just want to know why you attacked that man. Nothing more."

Nolan smiled faintly. "You’re still as kind-hearted as ever, Seria."

Indeed, the woman in front of him had a firm exterior but a gentle heart. Her role as the Singularity of Life only strengthened that trait.

"Honestly, I have no particular reason. I just want to fight the Singularity of Death—he’s the one who caused chaos by creating an undead that killed countless sailors. That’s it, nothing more. Since you have no further business with , I’m leaving," Nolan said, turning away.

Seria was reluctant to let him go so quickly. But considering her past actions, she felt ashad to hold him back.

She had been the one to end their relationship. What right did she have to stop the Singularity of Chaos from leaving?

"Oh, right. I just rembered sothing." Nolan paused, letting his hand fall just as it was about to open the space portal.

He turned back to Seria. "You’re looking for your granddaughter, aren’t you?"

His words startled Seria. She stared at him intently, her voice trembling as she asked, "How did you know? Have you seen her?"

Her heart pounded with a mix of excitent and hope. She had been searching for her granddaughter for months, to no avail.

Sotis, thoughts of her kept Seria awake at night. The worry had weighed heavily on her for so long.

"Not only have I seen her, but she’s in my care," Nolan replied.

Nolan’s words stunned Seria for a mont, then anger erupted, and a green aura flared around her.

"What do you an? Did you kidnap her?" Her eyes, hidden behind the blindfold, blazed with fury.

Although he had once held a special place in her heart, she would never forgive him if he hard her granddaughter.

Nolan, however, showed no fear.

His purple eyes t hers coldly, and he sneered, "You really haven’t changed since the old days—stubborn and unable to think clearly. No wonder no one is by your side."

His words struck like a blade to Seria’s heart. Her breathing grew ragged, and her aura wavered before finally dissipating.

"If I intended to harm her, I wouldn’t have told you," he continued. "She was kidnapped by an evil syndicate in the Great Velmora Empire. By chance, one of my subordinates found and rescued her. I placed her under my supervision—she’s safe now."

Seria opened and closed her mouth, her expression a mixture of sorrow and regret.

"Singularity of Chaos, I—" She tried to speak, but Nolan paid her no attention.

He waved his hand dismissively. "I don’t need your apology. This is a transaction. I want the Fruit of Tears of Life from the Elf Forest. Bring it within four months, and I’ll return your granddaughter to you. But I have to warn you—"

He turned and opened a space portal. "Your granddaughter is in very safe hands. I can see she’s enjoying her new life. If she doesn’t want to co back with you later, don’t force her."

Without waiting for her response, he stepped through and disappeared, leaving Seria floating in place, dazed.

...

"Hah... hah... hah... Damn... we finally cleared all those monsters!" Jack panted, staring at the countless skeletons strewn lifeless across the ground.

The endless battle was finally over, and a wave of relief and happiness washed over him.

He collapsed, sweat pouring from every pore.

As an ordinary human, just surviving this long was an achievent.

Fortunately, everything ended sooner than he expected. Otherwise, exhaustion might have claid him.

Sharon was in the sa state. She sat with her legs bent, gasping for breath.

Her beautiful face was pale, drained of color as if she had lost too much blood.

It was understandable—she had used nearly all her strength to create hundreds of magic circles, clearing the way for Nolan to attack Levi.

On top of that, she had fought wave after wave of monsters.

Luckily, she had brought supplies, including mana-boosting potions, which allowed her to hold on, though her body was clearly weakening.

"Your Highness, are you okay?" Cassiopeia asked from behind her.

Sharon shook her head. "I’m fine. How about you?"

"I’m fine too. Those monsters weren’t actually that strong, but their endless numbers did wear out a little," Cassiopeia said with a soft chuckle as she sat down beside her.

Sharon just smiled. She was right—the monsters weren’t particularly powerful, but their incredible regenerative abilities had made the fight exhausting.

"Oh, by the way, where is His Highness Nolan? Did he manage to defeat Levi?" Cassiopeia asked, curiosity bright in her eyes.

Earlier, she had clearly seen Nolan battling the undead. To be honest, she had been very surprised.

The prince, long considered useless, had turned out to be an extraordinary fighter.

She was certain even His Majesty the Emperor didn’t know of his skills.

"As for Nolan, I don’t know exactly, but he should be fine," Sharon replied weakly.

Nolan had promised he would defeat Levi and had asked her to destroy this dinsion using the heirloom given to him by the Singularity of Chaos.

Cassiopeia didn’t press further. If Sharon said Nolan was fine, then he must really be fine.

She got up and began coordinating with Draco on how to exit this special dinsion.

Technically, they could have destroyed it, but doing so recklessly might have backfired. The dinsion was already unstable after Levi’s disappearance.

Destroying it hastily could have sent them to an unknown place.

At that mont, Sharon spoke up, showing them a black triangular stone.

Cassiopeia and Draco exchanged confused, hesitant glances, but Sharon explained that it was a magical tool given to her by her master, capable of destroying special dinsions.

With no other choice, Draco and Cassiopeia reluctantly agreed to Sharon’s plan.

Sharon destroyed the stone, and a burst of black light shot out in all directions, filling the hall.

Monts later, a faint cracking sound echoed as the hall began to crumble before their eyes.

Then, an invisible force tugged at them.

In the blink of an eye, they were ripped from their positions and vanished.
