"Hmmm… What exactly is the problem here?" Orrun rubbed his chin, staring at the magic formation in front of him in confusion.

In his opinion, the formation was perfect. There were no flaws or imperfections like those in the formations he had created before, back when he didn't have Nolan's help.

But strangely, the formation still wouldn't work, giving him a terrible headache.

Just then, the sound of footsteps ca from outside. The door opened, and Nolan stepped in with a smile on his face.

"Have so food first, old man," Nolan said, placing the food package he was carrying on the desk.

Orrun let out a long sigh, then stood up. He walked over and asked, "Is there any roasted ham?"

"There is." Nolan nodded, then walked toward the sofa and stretched his stiff body. "Eat first. Then I'll tell you what's missing from that formation."

"Huh?" Orrun froze in place. He stared at Nolan in surprise. "What did you just say? You know what's wrong with it?"

Nolan glanced at him and smiled, saying nothing.

Orrun tried to calm his suddenly racing heart. He didn't know whether the kid was talking nonsense or not.

However, after spending a few days with him, he had started to understand him. Although Nolan could be annoying at tis, he was kind and considerate.

He also rarely spoke nonsense—except when he was joking.

And just now, Nolan didn't seem to be joking, which ant his words might be true.

Orrun's spirits, which had briefly sunk, rose again. He couldn't wait to find out the flaw in that magic formation.

Fifteen minutes later, he finished eating and quickly walked over to Nolan, who was lying down with his eyes closed.

"Kid, hurry up and tell what the flaw is!" Orrun said eagerly.

Nolan opened his heavy eyelids. He slowly sat up and stretched his stiff body.

"Before I answer, I want to test your intuition first," Nolan said with a faint smile. He pointed at the magic formation and asked, "That formation is a teleportation spell. Do you know what a teleportation spell is?"

Orrun was stunned, not expecting the boy to ask such an easy question.

"Kid, are you ssing with ?" The corner of Orrun's mouth twitched, and veins bulged on his forehead.

Nolan wasn't afraid. He leaned back against the sofa and casually crossed his legs.

"Don't overthink it. Just tell —what is teleportation magic?"

Orrun's anger subsided. He stared at Nolan's calm face and thought, 'Is the answer hidden in this question?'

That was the only thing that made sense.

Orrun took a deep breath and explained, "Teleportation magic is magic that uses spatial rifts to move from one place to another."

"And then?" Nolan asked.

"And then?" Orrun blinked in confusion. "That's the explanation. Is there sothing else?"

Nolan fell silent, staring at Orrun as if he were looking at a fool.

"Old man, was your title of Great Sage given to you just because you're the nephew of the master of the Tower of Silence?"

Orrun: "…"

"Damn it! Are you insulting !?" Orrun yelled, swinging a punch.

But Nolan easily caught it and said casually, "Alright, alright. I was just joking. Your temper is awful—like a bull seeing red."

He released Orrun's fist and stood up.

Since the old man didn't have as deep an understanding as Sylvia, Nolan had no choice but to explain it directly.

"What's missing from that magic formation is an object."

Orrun was startled. He even forgot Nolan's earlier insult and asked, "An object?"

Nolan nodded and continued, "Teleportation magic requires an object—either the user themselves or soone else. By now, your brain should be able to process that, right?"

Orrun took a deep breath. Of course, he understood what Nolan ant.

The formation was perfect—at least in his opinion. But since the magic hadn't worked at all, he had begun to doubt its perfection, to the point of forgetting that the formation itself was a teleportation spell.

What did teleportation magic require?

An object!

"Damn it! How could I have been that stupid!" Orrun tapped his forehead in frustration.

He'd been too focused on the complicated details, without realizing the crux of the problem lay in sothing so simple.

His gaze shifted toward Nolan, now filled with admiration.

"Kid, you're a total genius. I underestimated you. Sorry."

He lightly punched his own stomach.

Nolan snickered and waved his hand.

"You're wrong. I only realized it myself after casually asking Sylvia. It was because of that little girl."

"Sylvia?" Orrun's eyes widened.

He had thought Nolan was the one who discovered the flaw.

Who would've thought it was that little girl?

"I have to give her a gift later," he muttered.

Orrun was a decisive person. Those who were evil deserved punishnt, and those who were kind deserved to be rewarded.

Since the little girl had helped them find the final piece of the project, he felt Sylvia truly deserved a reward.

"Let's do it," Nolan said.

Orrun nodded, and the two walked over to the magic formation, stopping beside it.

"What object do you want to use?" Orrun asked.

Nolan looked around and spotted an apple on the table.

He waved his hand, and the apple flew toward him.

Then he placed it onto the formation and attached a marker to its surface.

The marker served to lock the apple's location once it was successfully teleported.

No matter how far it went, as long as the apple remained on this continent, Nolan could sense it and pinpoint its location.

However, if he could no longer sense it at all, it would an only one thing—the apple had been transported to another world.

"Let's begin," Nolan said.

They both closed their eyes, then ford a complex hand seal together and shouted, "Two-World Teleportation!"

Buzz!

The formation, which had been still monts before, suddenly emitted a blinding red light.

Neither of them moved. They continued channeling mana from their bodies into the formation.

A few monts later, the light dimd before finally fading away.

The apple placed on top of the formation vanished without a trace.

"Did it work?" Orrun's eyes widened in shock. His heart pounded, and his breathing grew heavier.

But Nolan wasn't imdiately relieved. He still needed to confirm the apple's location.

He closed his eyes again and tried to track it.

"The southern continent… nothing. Western continent… nothing. Eastern continent… nothing. Northern continent… nothing. Central continent…"

His eyes widened. Fear, joy, and dread mixed within him.

"Nothing!"

He stared at the magic formation with awe.

"This magic formation… it worked!"
