In the royal palace hall, Glarvic and Leina stood calmly. Before them, a two-meter-high black portal shimmered into existence.

"Will they be here soon?" Glarvic asked.

"According to the news, they should arrive in a few minutes," Leina replied.

Glarvic nodded silently, saying nothing more.

A few moments later, the portal trembled. In the next second, an adult woman and a young girl stepped through.

The woman had a striking presence. She wore a white gown that accentuated her elegant curves, and a white veil covered her face, hiding her true features.

Her long blue hair flowed down to her voluptuous hips.

Beside her, the young girl looked both beautiful and adorable. Though short, her chest was unusually well-developed, giving her a distinctive charm.

They were Sylvia, the master of the Tower of Silence, and Jisha, her disciple—the most brilliant talent in a thousand years.

"Wele, Master of the Tower," Glarvic greeted respectfully.

The woman before him was no ordinary person. She was one of the continent’s strongest—Sylvia Luminer.

Even the Seven Mages of Constellations from the Great Velmora Empire would have to show her respect.

He was fortunate to have convinced such a powerful figure to e to his side; otherwise, he would have had no way to handle the white dragon crisis.

"Thank you for your wele, King Glarvic," Sylvia said softly. With an elegant gesture, she added, "By the way, you haven’t forgotten your promise, have you?"

"No, I haven’t. Once this is over, I will fulfill it," Glarvic replied firmly.

Getting help from the Tower Master certainly didn’t e without a price.

However, unlike the conditions Nolan had demanded, Glarvic only needed to send his daughter to the Tower of Silence.

It should be noted that his daughter possessed a rare and extraordinary talent—the Arcanum Eyes.

The Arcanum Eyes were magical eyes capable of seeing everything in the world.

They could also destroy anything their user laid eyes on, which earned them the name Eyes of Destruction.

Because of this power, his daughter always wore special blindfolds provided by Tower Master Sylvia.

In the past, the head of the Academy of Fallen Stars had wanted her to enter the academy, while Sylvia had hoped to make her her personal disciple.

Fearing to offend either party, Glarvic had postponed the decision, asking for more time—he still had another year to decide.

But the kingdom’s current predicament was urgent, leaving him no choice but to offer his daughter as a bargaining chip to Sylvia.

As for the head of the Academy of Fallen Stars, he no longer concerned himself with that matter.

After all, Sharon—Nolan’s sister—came from that academy. Given their tense relationship, it was impossible for his daughter to enter.

Thus, the only viable option remaining was Sylvia.

"Good!" Sylvia nodded with satisfaction. "Then, can you tell me the details of the situation? I still don’t fully understand."

Glarvic had no objection. He first invited Sylvia and Jisha to sit in the chairs he had prepared.

Once they were seated, Leina carefully served them tea.

"So here’s the situation, Master of the Tower..."

Glarvic began explaining everything to Sylvia and Jisha.

The two listened attentively. But when Nolan’s name came up, Jisha visibly stiffened.

"Nolan? That man is here?" She blurted out without meaning to.

Sylvia glanced at her coolly, and Jisha immediately realized her mistake.

"I—I’m sorry, Your Majesty. I didn’t mean to interrupt; I was just surprised to hear that Prince Nolan has e as a negotiator from the Great Velmora Empire," she stammered.

Glarvic smiled and shook his head. "It’s alright. Relax."

Jisha was the most talented mage in the Tower of Silence. Surely he wouldn’t get angry over something so minor.

"Yes, Prince Nolan has indeed arrived as a negotiator from the Great Velmora Empire. Could it be that you, Miss Jisha, have a special relationship with him?" Glarvic asked pointedly.

If that were true, it could spell serious trouble—after all, he and Nolan were already at odds.

"Relationship?" Jisha exclaimed, waving her hands frantically. "No way! That smelly man has offended me countless times. We are, literally, enemies!"

She turned her face away, clearly trying to display her irritation at Nolan.

Glarvic exhaled in relief. Fortunately, things weren’t as plicated as he had feared.

"Glad to hear it," he said.

What Glarvic didn’t notice, however, was the red blush spreading from the base of Jisha’s right ear across to the left.

It was obvious she was lying—she was far too embarrassed to admit any true connection to Nolan.

Sylvia noticed this and simply shook her head, letting out a small, helpless sigh.

’This girl is terrible at lying,’ she whispered.

Turning to Glarvic, Sylvia asked, "How many victims have there been?"

Glarvic’s expression darkened. "More than two hundred—one hundred and fifty soldiers and fifty civilians, including merchants."

For a monster attack, that number was staggering. Innocent lives had been lost because of the white dragon.

He was truly desperate and needed to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

"Alright, I understand," Sylvia said with a slight nod. "Don’t worry. I’ll take care of it tomorrow morning. But before that, may I see the princess? I want to examine her eyes."

The Arcanum Eyes were among the rarest in the world. Sylvia had seen them four years ago, but they were not yet fully awakened at that time.

By now, they might have matured. She also lacked detailed data on these eyes, so she wanted to study them firsthand and record her findings.

"Of course," Glarvic replied without hesitation. He turned to Leina. "Please take the Tower Master to my daughter’s room."

Leina nodded and immediately led Sylvia and Jisha toward the princess’s room.

Left alone in the spacious hall, Glarvic leaned back in his chair and muttered coldly, ’See—I was able to handle the white dragon problem just by asking Tower Master Sylvia for help. Nolan Lorian, you were wrong to underestimate me.’

Since their negotiations had failed, he had developed dark thoughts and a growing hatred toward Nolan.

But that didn’t matter. The white dragon problem would soon be resolved.

As for the Netherium mine in the southeast, he planned to begin the search operation tomorrow afternoon.

Although he didn’t know its exact location, the southeast region wasn’t particularly large. They would find it eventually.

Sipping his tea with a faint smile, he suddenly heard hurried footsteps approaching.

"Report, Your Majesty!" A soldier knelt on one knee, hands clasped tightly.

Glarvic opened his eyes and asked calmly, "What is it?"

The soldier trembled as he spoke. "We’ve just received word that two neighboring kingdoms, Baldrum and Korovtar, have launched an attack! Thirty thousand heavy cavalry are advancing toward the southeast of our kingdom!"

The glass in Glarvic’s hand slipped and shattered as he jumped to his feet, horror etched across his face.

"What did you say? Those two kingdoms are attacking us!?"
