Currently, the internet has been carrying the news and it was known everywhere that FJ has intentions of organizing a never-before petition in the Fashion Industry and it was the first of its kind.
As intriguing as it was, everyone knew it was a blood bath, as only the best could get in.
Bai Fen scheduled a meeting with FJ's Assistant Creative director. They met in a private location and Bai Jun was present.
Since Bai Jun was interested in the petition even though it was against her mother's wishes, Bai Fen had no choice than to ask for help.
"I'm sorry but there is no way to help you, you have to get in with your efforts." The Asst. Creative Director, Chyou said with a smile.
Bai Fen heaved a sigh. She didn't like this idea of getting in with one's effort. She was aware that the petition will be tough, so she doesn't want her daughter to try it in case she fails and bees embarrassed and disheartened.
"This is such a big petition and it won't be a surprise if there is no loophole." Bai Jun mented. She didn't seem all that surprised that there was no way to help her get in with some tricks.
"Since things have e to this, why don't you let us in, on some of the arrangements for the petition. I'm sure it will go a long way." Bai Fen said in a low tone. That was the only idea she could think of. Right now, her gaze was filled with worry.
"I'm sorry to disappoint you again but I can't help you with that. Only the higher-ups know about the plans, we haven't been informed about anything yet. All I can say is for Miss Bai to work really hard or she may not last the first or second round of the petition." Chyou said in a smile that was not a smile.
If not for her sister, she wouldn't be sitting with the likes of people that wanted to get benefits without working for it.
Bai Jun found Chyou's words an insult to her but she could only swallow everything because she was the assistant creative director of FJ, she couldn't talk to her like other people, otherwise, that will be the end of her getting into FJ.
Bai Jun smiled half-heartedly as she said in a smooth voice.
"Miss Chyou, it's fine if I can't get in with your help but can you at least, coach me, I believe you have substantial talent and your teachings can help me go through the petition."
Chyou chuckled softly. She liked people praising her as she didn't get that a lot at FJ since there seemed to be someone better than her.
"I'm sorry but it is against my work ethics to mentor someone who is not a designer in FJ, privately. It's getting late, I have to leave now." Chyou said with a smile.
Bai Fen saw that she was about to leave and stopped her. "Miss Chyou, please hold on." Bai Fen said as she took out an envelope from her bag and passed it to her.
"What is this for, I didn't help you out today?" Chyou asked with a confused gaze after she glanced at the envelope.
"It doesn't matter. You took out time out of your busy schedule to see us." Bai Fen said with a smile.
Inwardly, Bai Jun was angry that her mother prepared another cheque for Chyou when she didn't help with anything today but she didn't let her emotions out. She was waiting for Chyou to leave so she can confront her mother.
Chyou smiled and took the envelope from her. "Well, I can take your money for free."
'It's good that you know!' Bai Jun said to herself as she rolled her eyes. She made sure she wasn't seen or she wouldn't be able to redeem herself if Chyou saw her.
Bai Fen was the only one who was relaxed because she knew the oute of her tricks beforehand. It was only someone who didn't have a conscience that would have taken the money and left. It looks like she was not wrong about Chyou, as her mind has been re-shaped while working in FJ.
"Since I can't mentor Miss Bai, there is someone I will introduce you to. He will teach you the best but you need to get your money ready because he charges a lot." Chyou said with her gaze on Bai Fen.
"Money is not a problem, you just have to introduce us and that's it." Bai Fen said with a confident smile. No amount of money was too expensive to get her daughter into FJ because it was all worth it, as it would pay when she finally gets her hands on Fu Hua.
'It wouldn't be bad if she climbs from his mistress to his second wife and then a first wife after she gives birth to a son.' Bay Fen thought as she chuckled.
"Good! I will give you a call tomorrow. Have a nice day!" Chyou said to them with a smile as she got to her feet.
Bai Jun and her mother got up to bid chyou goodbye. "Thank you Miss Chyou, for the tips." Bai Fen said gratefully.
Chyou bowed slightly and turned to walk away.
Bai Jun was surprised by the turn of events. When she felt her mother has wasted the ￥1 million, who knew that Chyou would finally say something important?
"Mum just now, I thought you almost wasted a good sum of money." Bai Jun said as she hugged her mother's arm.
"You still have to learn a lot from me. You need the patience to deal with all kinds of people." Bai Fen said confidently. Chyou's actions were not a surprise to her.
"I didn't know money could move people like her." Bai Jun said with a smile. She thought Chyou was different, given the aura around her but who knew that money can still move her.
"It's not money, it's greed. But it's good she is not that difficult to deal with, at least she knows the right thing to do after collecting someone's money." Bai Fen said as she gave off a proud vibe.
Bai Jun laid her head on her mother's arm and said to her in an excited tone, "Mum, I am in the mood to shop, let's do that to celebrate."
"Didn't you hear what Miss Chyou said? We have to get the money ready for your new tutor, so we have to spend wisely. You know your father and your grandmother will never allow this, so I have to pay from my purse." Bai Fen reminded her.
"Mum, your brother is rich and he married a wealthy wife, surely we can ask him for money." Bai Jun said with a wink.
Bai Fen hit her arms gently and scolded her, "You want me to beg for money? You can't be serious. If you are looking for what to celebrate with, we have so many expensive bottles of wines at home, we can pick your choice."
Bai Jun agreed reluctantly and left with her mother.. Her private tutorials were more important than shopping for clothes.
