Swish swish swish.
A few days later. I beca aware that an unusual gate had appeared in England, but I didn't take any particular action. As Andy, the Arican, had ntioned, our goal was to prevent certain high-ranking individuals from abusing the [Prophecy]. Just because it was written on a scroll doesn't an we could handle every gate as if it were private property. Therefore, my foreign subordinates and I ultimately decided to stay out of this gate.
However, ever since my reincarnation, my daily hobby happened to be watching the news. At so point, whether I intended it or not, I inevitably started coming across this kind of news.
'Another failed attempt at the gate in England?'
A negative report had erged about a certain gate, nicknad the [Rage-Inducing Zone]. I paused from cleaning my only weapon, the Hydra, and turned my head. My phone was there, and on its screen, a reporter—presumably British—held a microphone and delivered the following news. British hunters had recently decided to temporarily abandon the attempt to clear a certain A-rank gate and agreed to maintain it as it was for the ti being.
In simple terms, it ans they'll manage it carefully so the space doesn't explode.

In simple terms, it ans they'll manage it carefully so the space doesn't explode.
But honestly, on this Earth, “not triggering a dungeon break” was relatively simple. You just had to have people enter periodically to thin out the monsters.
'At least this ti it's not an S-rank—thankfully.'
Since the gate was completely isolated by its unique magical boundary, it didn't really take up space on the surface. And although no one could ntion it when disaster concerns were high, controlling monster populations in this way was actually a common way to make money even under normal circumstances.
'Judging from the circumstances, Korea's [Delhi No. 1614] seems to have caused so kind of error. Still, unless it's one of those absurdly rare cases, a break shouldn't occur while it's being managed...'
Even the monsters that respawned late inside the gate didn't drop any items anyway, did they?
'Korea's Magical Tower-owned D-rank gates used for mana amplifier materials worked the sa way. I've heard that [Knight's Oath] is managed similarly by European authorities—extracting items in that exact manner. Since you never know when the sa dungeon will appear again, they deliberately keep a few of the monsters that drop useful artifacts alive.'
Then I realized there wasn't any imdiate problem with this situation, and finally put my phone down.

'Now, I have to know how to ignore even news like this.'
At the sa ti, a bit of self-reflection took place.
'I've been getting too involved in the primitive folk's business all this ti.'
Retirent. Ever since things went haywire this year, I sohow put less weight on that word. Yet the biggest reason an Alphauri ca to Earth was to live a life without work. That dream hasn't changed, then or now. Still, every ti a sowhat unusual gate appears, I can't help but peek—ironically painting a picture that's completely opposite to the life of a retiree.
'After all, a planet that evolves brilliantly every year even if you just leave it be...'
Self-reliance wasn't sothing only Jeong Ha-seong needed. In fact, it applied to as well, and of course to all humans. Moreover, there were still plenty of areas where we were lacking to take on invaders from space and fight for the survival of the species... From now on, even when special incidents occur, I need to largely ignore them and let the locals handle things on their own.
Yet, even after coming to this conclusion, I felt that perhaps there should be an exception—just this once—for the dun

Yet, even after coming to this conclusion, I felt that perhaps there should be an exception—just this once—for the dungeon that had appeared this ti, the one with that “rage” or whatever in its na.
'No one has died, but I'm concerned that nobody has reached the core where the boss resides.'
Looking back on my second life so far, around this ti, things always seed to take an unusual turn.
'Above all, it's about ti the Great Cataclysm should have ended. The fact that the gate creators still can't seem to gauge the difficulty properly is a rather big problem.'
Lately, the parasitic entities seed unable to distinguish boundaries properly. A parasite, no matter how remarkable, still requires a host. Yet if the host devours suffering without restraint, like so mindless pig of concept, then both species are bound for mutual destruction. Teaching soone how to catch their own at is one thing, but if that young person is clearly about to drown, isn't saving them still the duty of humanity?
'After all, the word 'alien' even contains the character for 'person'...'
I sat alone in the dark room, gathering and sorting through my thoughts.
“Perhaps it's ti to take so drastic asures.”
I sat alone in the dark room, gathering and sorting through my thoughts.
“Perhaps it’s ti to take so drastic asures.”
And at the end of all that thinking, I found myself muttering aloud for no reason. After all, when an office worker lives a lone for too long, they tend to make random noises just to keep cobwebs from forming on their lips.
“Well, if I handle it properly this ti, I won’t have to worry for a while. It’s a subject I’d been considering even before heading to India, anyway.”
Now that I’d finally set a short-term goal, I decided to put my Earth-body analyses on hold for a while and devote so ti to a certain magical study. After all, we’ll probably swing by that gate in England at so point. Still, to be clear, it’s definitely not an imdiate matter. Maybe they’ll take care of it themselves while we’re getting ready.

...And barely seven hours after I had begun the new research.
‘Just because it’s winter doesn’t an it snows every day.’
It’s been a while since I last went out. Oh, by the way, those who had co all the way to Korea with sparring requests have long since grown weary and gone back. So, taking advantage of the quiet that settled over the world, I stepped outside and carried out various preparations needed for my research.
‘Huh, I got a call.’
But after spending quite so ti on my own, a sudden new appointnt ca up.
‘Seo Esther? What’s going on?’
According to the head of the Korean Magic Tower, a curse practitioner—she said that whenever she happened to run into at various sites, she always felt a strange sense of déjà vu. And it turned out that it wasn’t really sothing to dismiss as déjà vu at all, but rather that my clothes were practically the sa every single ti—sothing she had only recently co to realize clearly.
‘Am I not supposed to wear only suits?’
The issue wasn’t the style, but the lack of variety. Whether soone wore a suit or a hanbok didn’t really matter—but apparently, she was shocked to realize that an acquaintance in the field was just rotating through clothes sold by their own family’s shop...
‘Why was she shocked?’
own family's shop...
'Why was she shocked?'
When I voiced my doubt, Esther added a few more explanations. To sum it up, she seed to feel a sense of crisis about a certain man's tendency to simply wear whatever clothes were given to him as gifts. Because of that kind of personality, she felt she had to intervene sohow—before that monstrous indifference once again summoned sothing like a neon-green sweatshirt, she absolutely had to take action...
With so effort to interpret it, the feeling that arose in Esther could even be seen as a sense of responsibility. So, since she had so free ti, she ca all the way to where I was and picked out so new clothes for .
'I was planning to check anyway whether you've been keeping up with the textbooks. But I guess this way, we end up eting in person.'
Among the gifts the curse practitioner gave this ti, there was a notable number of scarves.
'The price tag has a number higher than the cost of an entire pot of gukbap.'
When I asked why she had given so many scarves, Esther replied that in the middle of winter, if I went around looking that neat, it made the people watching feel colder. The conversation kept drifting into things I could hardly understand, but in any case, receiving free items was always sothing to welco.
'It's not like I have to be overly cautious around the curse magician anymore. Isn't it fine to take a little advantage?'
ing that heat, it made the people watching feel colder. The conversation kept drifting into things I could hardly understand, but in any case, receiving free items was always sothing to welco.
'It's not like I have to be overly cautious around the curse magician anymore. Isn't it fine to take a little advantage?'
But after spending such a frivolous day, by the ti evening ca around—it was simply because it was winter that the sun had set so quickly, yet regardless, darkness had already fallen. So we decided it was about ti to wrap things up and head out.
Beep-beep, beep-beep.
But with one phone call that Esther received in the middle of it all, the peaceful atmosphere suddenly changed.
"What call was that? I couldn't hear because it was noisy around here."
"Oh, it's nothing serious. For a mont I thought I'd have to rush out, but it was just soone from the Association passing along gate information, as they'd promised ."
"Gate information?"
"When it cos to sharing global gate information, the Association is faster than the internet... Ah, shall we take a look at it together while we're at it, Giryeo-ssi?"
I was, of course, always glad to catch a glimpse of humanity's advancents. But as I looked at the phone screen Est...
"When it cos to sharing global gate information, the Association is faster than the internet... Ah, shall we take a look at it together while we're at it, Giryeo-ssi?"
I was, of course, always glad to catch a glimpse of humanity's advancents. But as I looked at the phone screen Esther shared with , a thought soon crossed my mind.
'It seems jealousy isn't just Kim Giryeo's trait.'
I hadn't really ntioned it before, but the original owner of this body had quite a jealous streak—people like Gu Seohyeong, Seo Esther, and Jung Haseong. This body's brain would reflexively generate a sense of aversion whenever it encountered soone who excessively t its aesthetic standards. Because Kim Giryeo had felt lifelong inferiority about his appearance, these negative reactions had beco deeply ingrained.
'From an alien's perspective, I honestly can't tell what's so different...'
The reason I'm suddenly talking about this jealousy is that the gate currently reported to Seo Esther applied this very effect the mont you entered.
[Status Abnormality: Jealousy]
A "feeding box" appeared that drove people crazy with envy. At first, you'd resent the monsters for having horns, colors, or traits you didn't possess. But as you defeat monsters and make so progress, the space gradually becos one where even everything about your teammates starts to get on your nerves.

But as you defeat monsters and make so progress, the space gradually becos one where even everything about your teammates starts to get on your nerves.
The adventurers tackling the newly appeared gate this ti ran into truly troubleso incidents. They envied not only visible traits like appearance and strength, but even less tangible things like personality. Even though the people around them were long-ti companions who had shared hardships together, the entrants ended up openly mocking each other out of jealousy—and eventually escalated into intense fights, brandishing weapons at one another. If the team's ace, the only one with strong ntal resilience, hadn't restrained everyone... it probably wouldn't have ended as rely hurt feelings.
‘Uh... I feel like I’ve seen this painting sowhere before?’
Once again, a “feeding box” that strongly lured hunters had appeared. At first, I thought it was just a similar system being used. No matter how well-ard humans were with items and training, their ntal resistance to magical influence was still pitiful. It was, in a sense, only natural for psychics to be swayed by strong brainwashing. Moreover, such a failure in difficulty adjustnt could easily occur. But the abnormal status reported now seed to suggest a lot specifically about Earthlings. Soon, Esther, staring at the screen, ntioned so unexpected additional information.
“By the way, after anger cos jealousy—isn't that just too predictable?”
“Yes?”
“Oh, you might not know this, Giryeo-ssi. If you have no interest in religion or subculture, it’s understandable that it wouldn't imdiately co to mind.”

What are you talking about?
It's the abnormal-status gate that started in England and has been causing a ruckus ever since. Maybe no one told you, but it could actually be part of a series. On top of that, inside the gate, there was even an inscription in runes that read, 'Do not live a life of sin.'
Clearly, only one had been announced on the scroll...
Twenty-four hours later, events began unfolding as if to prove Esther's claim. All the hunter associations across the world went so far as to rena the hunting grounds they had casually called the [Anger-Inducing Zone] to [Sin Classification].
