I stood before Larry's house, my hands slightly fidgeting with the pizza box. I looked at the front door before pressing the doorbell.

His choice of words, "forbidden things," made cringe once again. They had an ambiguous undertone that could be interpreted in nurous ways.
However, I knew what he ant. It was his way of saying we could goof around in his room without any nagging from his mom.
"You should really stop misleading people," I complained.
Larry's brows furrowed in confusion. "What do you an?" he asked, genuinely perplexed by my remark.
I let out a sigh, realizing that it was probably not the right ti to delve into the matter. "Never mind. Let's just go up the stairs," I said, deciding to drop the subject for now and cut the case short.
Larry shrugged, seemingly content with my response, and led the way up the stairs.

"How am I supposed to notice that?! It's literally hidden behind your clothes!" I shot back, feeling slightly exasperated.
"But I'm wearing a slim-fit shirt! You should have noticed the difference!" he retorted, his voice filled with a touch of frustration.
I couldn't help but roll my eyes in response. Larry always had a way of turning the most mundane things into a big deal.
