In response, she took a stance that vaguely resembled an attack position, though it lacked the strength and finesse of a true warrior.
With a bitter tone, I acknowledged our past encounters. "I know because we have t before... or rather, we've crossed paths twice," I corrected. "I'm truly sorry for what happened to your boyfriend," I added, bowing my head slightly in a gesture of remorse.
Her shock was evident. "Shut your mouth!" she yelled.

With a flick of my finger, I used my Telekinesis, giving her a quick shove to the side. She crashed into the ground, the sharp clink of her Mana Lance hitting the floor echoing through the air.

"When?" she snarled, her voice dripping with displeasure.
"I saved you from that incubus," I admitted. Deep down, I knew she wouldn't rember .
"Don't you dare spout such nonsense to !" she shouted, her anger flaring like wildfire.
I let out a weary sigh. "Right, of course... How could I expect you to rember?" I muttered. It was I who had taken the decision to erase those mories, believing it was for the best.
"But one thing, Miranda," I interjected, my voice tinged with both earnestness and frustration, "I am not the demon who took your boyfriend's life and shattered your world. They are gone, dead."
I hoped that my words would help alleviate so of the burden on her heart.
"Even if those demons are dead, you are still a demon yourself. You have killed innocent people!"
I couldn't help but feel taken aback by her audacity.
"I don't kill humans. Not yet, at least," I confessed.
"Liar!" she spat, her eyes burning with fury.
With lightning speed, she charged toward , her Mana Lance poised for an attack.
But I remained composed, calmly snapping my fingers and invoking my Dark Bound skill.
In an instant, a powerful surge of dark energy surrounded her, binding her in its grasp.
She froze mid-motion, her body collapsing to the ground with a heavy thud. Yet, despite her immobilized state, she struggled relentlessly.
She fought against the ethereal restraints. "You speak of justice, of the death, of the one who tore my world apart. But how can I believe you? How can I trust that you're not just another twisted demon playing mind gas with ?"
I understood her skepticism.
