Unlike Lex, Fenrir had been having the ti of his life lately. Since Fenrir and Lex were kind of bonded, Fenrir received a boost from the gap in cultivation between Lex and himself. The stronger that Lex was, the greater the feedback Fenrir received would be, and lately, that feedback had just been *chefs kiss*.

It was so enjoyable, in fact, that Fenrir even stopped hanging out with Little Blue and the rest so that he could cultivate. He could feel that soon, he would be ready to enter the Heaven Immortal realm.

Sothing in his bloodline told him that such a level would have a significant impact on him, which is why he had been so utterly focused on it lately.

Then, suddenly, he felt himself being summoned, and the next thing he knew, he was in a beautiful glade in the middle of nowhere. Considering that whenever he was summoned, it would always be beside Lex, his absence was distinctly prominent.

Yet before he could panic, Fenrir felt a set of instructions entering his mind, sent from Lex. A very serious expression appeared on the pup's face as he realized that Lex was in genuine need, and quickly set off, searching for a Registration office.

Unlike Lex, Fenrir did not have access to even 1% of his cultivation power, yet due to his powerful and unique bloodline, his body was innately very powerful even here. Fenrir sniffed his surroundings and almost imdiately picked up on a very prominent scent - one that he couldn't identify, yet could feel like it was a good thing.

Trusting his nose, Fenrir followed the scent, sprinting through the wild until he reached a small hut made of white hay that made it appear as if it had been chiseled out or marble. Within the hut was, surprisingly, a small goldfish in a small fishbowl, right atop a podium.

"What are you looking at?" the fish said angrily as it noted the unusual expression on Fenrir's face. "Never seen a dignified goldfish before?"

Fenrir turned his head, looking at the fish oddly, before he shook his head. The fish that he spent the most ti with were the Magikarpet in the Inn, so he had genuinely never seen a goldfish in such a fishbowl before.

"Oh," the fish said, surprised by the answer. "In that case, feel free to admire my visage. Allow to swim a little, and demonstrate the finesse that my excellent form allows ."

The fish swam clockwise and anticlockwise in his bowl, allowing Fenrir to witness its excellence. For reasons he could not quite understand, Fenrir felt the urge to grab the fish out of the bowl, but he resisted. He was on a mission.

Once the fish was satisfied, it turned back towards Fenrir, looking properly satisfied.

"Now then, since you've had the privilege of being graced with the sight of my splendid form, shall we proceed to registration?"

Fenrir proceeded onto the platform, following the instructions Lex had given, and took a short ti to get registered. There were no accidents or incidents during the registration so after giving the goldfish one last, odd look, Fenrir left

the hut.

Once outside, he discovered that his surroundings were entirely different from when he ca in, yet Lex had already warned him of that. More importantly, Fenrir could now sense Lex's location so he wasted no ti and sprinted through the wild.

To be honest, everything around Fenrir was enormously frightening and terrifying, the aura that filled the air enough to frighten him under normal circumstances. However, since Lex had assured him that the aura itself was not dangerous, Fenrir chose to trust him and made his way to Lex.

The journey took about two days before Fenrir reached Lex, and the sight of him gave the pup pause. Within a massive crater, one that was much larger than Lex was aware of because of the limited reach of his spirit sense, lay Lex's body, soaking in a puddle of his own blood.

Even after two continuous days of cultivating, Lex hadn't healed fully. In fact, he wasn't even close to regrowing all his skin, let alone his missing body parts. The only reason that the injuries in his bones had managed to heal over the last two days was because of the imnse energy he had pulled in while

cultivating.

All the surrounding dirt, grass, trees and everything other than stone had been absorbed by Lex's body. Unlike in other areas, where absorbing the local materials provided his body with so features of the region, everything that Lex absorbed rely provided him with energy.

Compared to when he summoned Fenrir, at least, he was in a much better state. He could use enough of his power to cover his body with a simple illusion to save him from being nude - although a part of him had accepted that this might beco a common occurrence for him.

"Hey there buddy, how you doing?" Lex asked Fenrir weakly, to which the pup only whined. Given Lex's current state, Fenrir was not in the mood to joke or

play around.

"You're going to need to make a sled to pull . Can you use any of your abilities?" Lex asked, which only caused Fenrir to whine so more.

But even if he couldn't, registering would allow the pup to ease his limiter by 0.1%, which should be enough for him to barely create a sled using so ice. After all, given his weakened state, there was no way Fenrir could carry Lex's body weight.

Too wary to harvest any materials from the surroundings anymore, Lex decided to take things slow, opting for Fenrir to slowly build him a sled out of ice using his own powers before transferring Lex's body onto it. Once that was done, Fenrir pulled Lex all the way back to the registration hut where the goldfish was ditating.

The entire process, from the mont Fenrir found Lex, took five days. Lex was already short on ti, but his severe injury had set him back trendously. He was not too bothered by it, though, for a near death experience had an excellent way of allowing one to reevaluate what was, and wasn't important. Lex still wished to complete the quest, but if he couldn't find the Heavens puppet in ti, then so be it. Anyway, the tavern quest was the one with the shorter ti limit, and the Heavens puppet gave Lex a much longer ti limit

to complete the quest.

After multiple repeated successes, Lex had almost started to believe that he'd be able to endure any challenge that ca his way. He was fortunate that the ti he had been wrong, he survived to learn from his mistake.

When the goldfish saw Fenrir and Lex, instead of comnting on Lex's blood state, the fish couldn't help but look at Fenrir smugly.

"Couldn't resist coming back to take another glance, could you?" the fish asked. "I'll have you know, it's not your fault. Back in the day, I was an inter-realm superstar. Fish and beasts of all kinds used to line up just to get a glimpse of . If only the goldfish race hadn't declined so..."

The goldfish looked out into the distance wistfully, as if it had a painful past that it didn't want to recall.

"Even now, you present a formidable sight," Lex said as he opened his bloody eyes and looked at the fish. In truth, if any other human saw the creepy smile Lex was giving, they would have nightmares for a lifeti. Fortunately, the goldfish had never seen humans before, so it didn't know how to judge whether Lex looked horrifying or normal.

"It's only natural," the fish said. "Anyway, why are you back? Your friend has already registered, and he can't register again. There's nothing else I can help you with in this office."

"Thank you for your consideration," Lex said as he looked at the fishbowl above him from where he lay on the sled. "I was actually wondering if we could chat a little. I've had so very interesting experiences here in Arch-Heaven, but the excitent really was a little too much for . I was hoping soone as fabulous as yourself wouldn't mind sharing so information about this place

with ."

The fish looked at Lex smugly, appreciating the human who had correctly identified the goldfish's greatness.

"What would you like to know? Ask away. Ask everything you are wondering about," the fish said magnanimously.

"I was just wondering about the kinds of dangers of Arch-Heaven. I ran into a... a Lawstorm, for a lack of a better term. I wanted to know how to avoid such storms, and about any other dangers that I might encounter out there." The goldfish nodded as it Lex's words, as if approving of his questions. "I don't know," the fish answered decisively. "The goldfish race is so magnificent that my mory extends ten whole days back. Unfortunately for you, I spent those ten days here, so I don't know anything about what's outside this hut."
