Wu Kong grimaced as he erected a barrier around himself to keep the radiation at bay. There were too many fights going on simultaneously within close proximity to each other, causing a trendous amount of leaked Dao energy.

This energy was lethal to all non-Dao beings, but due to the high concentration, it was also dangerous for Dao Lords. The power of Dao was so imnse that a majority of Dao Lords could not control it effectively and efficiently. That didn't an they couldn't use it.

Thus, when they fought, their every move would cause a large amount of chaotic Dao energy to leak into the surroundings. It was for this very reason that, in the Origin realm, Dao Lords were forbidden from fighting, and why everyone had been so impressed that the Innkeeper had been able to act without disrupting or damaging the realm. An immature realm absolutely could not sustain damage from this leaked Dao energy, or radiation as Dao Lords simply referred to it.

As it happened, this radiation did a lot of area damage spread far and wide, and as long as Wu Kong was exposed to it, it would passively affect his stealth. It was one of the dumbest ways to prevent him from using his stealth, but it could not be denied that it was still effective.

Unfortunately, as soon as Wu Kong revealed himself, he was detected by soone he would rather avoid - if only because he didn't want to deal with them at the mont.

Erlang - the personification of divine justice, heroism and moral integrity, and in Wu Kong's opinion, a complete idiot. Erlang was born in the Folklore realm, rising through legends of a hero who stood up for justice.

Unfortunately, despite reaching the Dao Lord realm, his unique circumstances prevented his spirit - or his mind - from developing like a typical Dao Lord. He was unable to understand the complexities of morality, and judged things in black and white. While not inherently stupid, he could still be easily manipulated as long as the speaker spoke honestly and without any negative intentions against Elang himself.

While he was a champion of the Path of Order, and was renowned across the universe for confronting many immoral Dao Lords, bringing justice to the land, he was also an irritating and persistent pain in Wu Kong's life.

"Halt, thief!" Erlang yelled as he appeared before Wu Kong, garbed in simple armor and holding a halberd fashioned from the spine of an evil dragon he had slain - an evil Dao Lord dragon!

Wu Kong did not even want to respond to him - if only he weren't so strong. It went without saying, but anyone capable of giving Wu Kong a headache had to have the strength to match his, making him unable to use any of his tricks.

"Get lost Erlang," Wu Kong said gravely, not in the mood to joke around. "Go rescue a kitten from a tree or sothing. I don't want to deal with you right now."

Erlang did not care about what Wu Kong said. Instead, as soon as he approached, he used his third eye - the one usually hidden in his forehead - to judge whether or not Wu Kong had committed any new cris since they last t. Naturally, he had, and not just a few.

If it were so low level stuff, Erlang may have let him off. Naturally, he would not waste his ti on insignificant matters, for he had to focus his energy where it was most needed. Unfortunately, Wu Kong's theft of a Primordial identity was a cri against the very universe itself!

"Wu Kong, how could you?" he roared as he smashed his halberd forward, aiming to eviscerate Wu Kong's very being and aiming to erase his entire existence.

Wu Kong, however, did not feel inclined to die that day. From within his ear he removed his piercing, and grew it into his black spear, blocking the halberd.

"Erlang, I'm only going to say this once," Wu Kong said, fully aware that his attempts at dissuading this maniac would be futile. "Go bother soone else. You're wasting both our ti with this useless fight."

Before Erlang could even reply, however, Wu Kong noticed so figures in the distance - mbers of the Zai race. The Zai race was an Elder race who were especially adept in the use of their spirit, often enslaving others through it. Lex also faced one once, however the ones watching from afar were, naturally, far stronger, and so their ans and thod were far greater.

He instantly realized what was going on. This was an open conspiracy - Erlang was being used, and he was being targeted.

"Ti and ti again you have escaped my wrath, heathen," said Erlang, pulling back his halberd and looking at Wu Kong with hate. "But you shall not escape again. For committing a cri against the very universe itself, I can no longer afford to hold anything back."

Wu Kong grimaced once more.

"Don't you see you're being used? There are literally slavers watching us at this very mont, waiting for this fight to start," he said, hoping against reason that Erlang would see reason.

It did not work.

"Compared to yours, their cris are petty. Their turn will co, but first, I must deal with you."

One mont the two were standing, and the next mont they clashed destroying the land all around them, giving way to a beautiful forest in its place. The Dream realm, as one of the oldest realms in existence, remained completely unaffected from the burden of a fight between Dao Lords.

Yet their clash was far from simple. It was not spear against halberd - no, it was Wu Kong's Dao against Erlangs. It was a clash between two Major Daos - so naturally the fallout from it was nothing like the other fights going on.

Most Dao Lords in existence - including ones from Elder and Sage races - attained the Dao using Minor Daos. Only very few, exceptional Dao Lords throughout history managed to attain Major Daos. A clash between them, thus, brought the conflict within the Dream realm to a whole new level.
