"Liu Zixuan, get the hell out here!"
A voice full of rage rang out, directly cutting off the conversation between Old Qing and Liu Zixuan.
Liu Zixuan frowned. "I thought after that little lesson just now they’d wait a few days before coming to cause trouble. Didn’t expect it to show up this fast."
"That voice outside doesn’t seem to be Gu Huaqiu." Old Qing muttered.
"Could it be that Great Elder?" Liu Zixuan asked, faintly excited. As for that Great Elder everyone was so afraid of, Liu Zixuan wasn’t scared at all—on the contrary, he was itching to have a duel with him.
Old Qing shook his head. "Go up and see, you’ll know."
"Let’s go." As he spoke, Liu Zixuan was about to head out from the cave entrance.
Old Qing hurriedly grabbed him. "This is a forbidden area. If you go out directly from here, you’ll definitely attract their attention. Co with ."
With that, Old Qing led Liu Zixuan further in. He fiddled with the rock wall for a bit, and a flight of steps appeared, extending upward.
Liu Zixuan smacked his tongue in awe. "The Profound Sword Sect really has a ton of chanisms and secret passages!"
"These were set up specifically to prevent others from discovering the Qilin. You think I’m just a janitor sweeping the floors?" Old Qing said sourly.
As they spoke, the two of them had already walked up the steps and out. What Liu Zixuan hadn’t expected was that they appeared directly inside Old Qing’s room at the Peach Blossom House!
Old Qing said in a deep voice, "We’ll talk about the Qilin later. Go deal with the trouble outside first."
"Give one night after this. If everything goes smoothly, tomorrow I’ll help you deliver the Qilin." Liu Zixuan said with a aningful smile.
The only reason he had such confidence was, of course, relying on the Holy dical Scripture!
The Holy dical Scripture was the most badass to in the dical Dao. Liu Zixuan was certain it would record sothing related to the Qilin.
Hearing Liu Zixuan speak so firmly, Old Qing was first overjoyed, then let out a bitter chuckle. "Handle the trouble outside first."
It wasn’t that he didn’t trust Liu Zixuan, but delivering a Qilin was by no ans easy. The reason he’d asked Liu Zixuan for help was frankly just a "dead horse as a live one to treat" kind of gamble.
Liu Zixuan nodded, then strode straight out.
At this mont, standing outside the Peach Blossom House was a man of about thirty-sothing. His posture was tall and straight, standing proudly, his entire being exuding an extrely domineering aura.
The man stared at Liu Zixuan with eyes like swords and spoke in an icy voice, "You must pay the price for what you’ve done and what you’ve said!"
Liu Zixuan suddenly had the urge to start cursing. This guy in front of him was completely unfamiliar—he didn’t know him at all. When had he ever done anything to him, or said anything to him!
He shot him an irritated look. "The helper Gu Huaqiu found?"
"He alone is far from worthy." the man said in a low voice.
"As far as I know, I only have Gu Huaqiu as an enemy here." Liu Zixuan said, spreading his hands.
Clang!
With a clear ringing sound, the man drew his longsword from the Sword Scabbard. The blade was a full one ter and a half long, its whole body as blue as seawater, faintly carrying threads of chill. He pointed it straight at Liu Zixuan.
"Liu Zixuan, you are not my match. I advise you to kneel down now and let stab you three tis. That will be the price you pay!"
In terms of temperant, if this man were in a modern city he would absolutely be a cold, aloof male-god type. But after hearing that line, Liu Zixuan suddenly felt this guy must have a bump on his brain—he was an idiot!
He muttered irritably, "Kneel down and let you stab three tis? Do you think I’m stupid or you’re stupid?"
Since the man wouldn’t say why he’d co to cause trouble, Liu Zixuan couldn’t be bothered to keep asking.
"Since you don’t know what’s good for you, then draw your sword!" the man said coldly, his tone full of bla for Liu Zixuan not knowing how to appreciate his ’kindness’.
Liu Zixuan arched a brow, plucked a Peach Branch from the peach tree beside him, and held one end. "Co, let’s see what qualifications you have to make pay any price."
"I’m using a sword and you’re using a Peach Branch. You’re looking down on !" the man said with extre uprightness.
Liu Zixuan actually felt like swearing out loud. What a waste of such a high-cold male-god face—his brain was this dull.
He imdiately cursed, "Your damn mother, you show up and tell to kneel and take three of your stabs—how is that you respecting ?"
"Letting you voluntarily pay the price is respecting you. Otherwise, if we really fight, you’ll lose miserably!" the man said.
Liu Zixuan pinched his forehead. "Stop babbling. I keep feeling like I’m talking to soone with brain damage. Draw your sword!"
"Hmph!"
The man gave a cold snort, then flicked his sword and launched an attack at Liu Zixuan.
Such fierce Sword Techniques, coupled with his figure, appeared extrely domineering. As he circulated his Sword Techniques, the air around them slowly converged. Liu Zixuan knew that although this guy’s brain didn’t work too well, he was definitely a master of the sword!
Of course, Liu Zixuan wasn’t made of paper either. As the attack ca, the Peach Branch struck out abruptly, smacking straight toward the man’s sword.
Clang!
The Peach Branch and longsword collided. Under the impact of both their Sword Intents, the peach blossoms scattered on the ground were sent swirling into the air.
"It actually didn’t break?" After ten consecutive strikes, seeing that the Peach Branch in Liu Zixuan’s hand still hadn’t snapped, the man let out a suspicious grunt.
"So, there’s no need for to even draw my sword to beat you."
Liu Zixuan grinned teasingly. Seizing the opportunity, the Peach Branch smacked against the man’s right arm. The trendous force almost made him lose his grip and drop the sword.
"You’re so despicable." the man frowned and cursed. "You actually ambushed ."
"Your grandma’s a big waterlon, what kind of freak did I run into today!" Liu Zixuan was completely dumbfounded by this guy’s words. In a fit of anger he directly tossed the Peach Branch to the ground. "I’m done fighting!"
"No. We haven’t decided a winner yet!" The man used his sword tip to hook up the Peach Branch and handed it back to Liu Zixuan.
"Brother, did you forget to bring your brain when you went out today?" Liu Zixuan couldn’t help asking.
"What do you an?" the man asked with a frown.
"I..."
"Hey, hey, hey!"
Just then, Old Qing suddenly walked out of the room and stood between the two of them. "What are you two fighting for?"
"Old Qing, he said sothing he shouldn’t have. I’m going to teach him a lesson!" the man explained.
"What did he say?" Old Qing asked with interest.
"He said my master is trash, and said my master is unbelievably ugly, the ugliest person he’s ever seen. That’s disrespecting my master. I want him to pay the price!" The sword in the man’s hand was still raised, with no sign of being sheathed.
Hearing this, Liu Zixuan was montarily speechless. "Who’s your master?"
"Are you brainless? You insulted my master and you don’t even know who my master is?" the man cursed in fury.
Hearing this guy’s words, Liu Zixuan really felt defeated by him. What Sword Dao expert—he was completely just an idiot expert!
