It was scarier when Rex initially fell into the water earlier.
He didn't know what dwelled inside its depth.
But now that he know, that the creatures living inside the depths of this water, were the Ti Draugars and also the mutated eels, that fear of the unknown disappeared instantly. Rex was aiming to reach the Lotus of Lunar Heart and get this over with.
Gazing ahead, he saw the Lotus of Lunar Heart on a small island at the center.
Roughly, it was a kiloter from the land to that island.
Had Rex tried to leap over that kiloter, he would certainly have fallen down because of the pulling effect from the mutated eels. So the only way to reach the island was directly through the water or leaping high enough, out of the range of the pulling effect.
Now that he was already in the water, the choice was clear to him.
Controlling his kingly energy, he leaped out of the water and stood on its surface.
Rex had never done this before, but with the fact that he has an extrely high mastery over energy control,l he was able to do it on the first try. Shifting his gaze, fixing on the island—he began sprinting towards it.
Under the influence of the Banished Dark Moon Persona form, his senses were heightened.
Even from the surface and the deterrent from the fog, he could sense everything.
Looking down, Rex could feel clearly that the Ti Draugars were grouping up to attack him.

Taking in the hunting thod of sharks, these Ti Draugars pierced the surface like rockets in an attempt to hit Rex from below. But having sensed them already—Rex dodged them all in a graceful and sleek manner.
As he sprinted ahead, he kept his body extrely low.
Each ti a Ti Draugar was about to strike him from below, he used his claws, as a paddle to abruptly change direction—and dodged the attack. He did it by stabbing his claws into the water and twisting it in the direction he wanted to go.
Multiple water spears exploded across the surface of the water.
All were representing every single Ti Draugar that missed their attacks on Rex.
But as the montum carried them back down—they launched a second attempt at Rex.
If anyone was watching the scene right now they would see that Rex—was skiing as multiple Ti Draugars were attacking relentlessly from below, and also raining from above back into the water.
Such a sight was impeccable to see, Rex was able to dodge them all with relative ease.
Not a single one managed to hit him as he was moving too quickly.
Despite not being in his elent, which was the land, he was already adapted to the terrain.
It took rely a few minutes that felt like a long ti as the wind carried him against the feral attacks from the Ti Draugars for him to near the island. He could get what he needed, and then went back to shore, wrestling against the sa obstacles for the second ti.
However, he knew that if he could go through them once, then he could do it again.
As he got closer and closer to the island, the attack from the Ti Draugars intensified.
Seems like they were protecting the Lotus of Lunar Heart.
Halfway through the way, Rex even changed from dodging to killing them—as he found their frequency of attack was becoming too much—but even then, the intensity of the attack was still the sa.
If Rex had to say, there should be about a hundred Ti Draugars attacking him.
Even then, his reflex was too insanely fast for them to land a hit on him.
Now. I'm within range of my Primordial Step, I can reach that.
Looking at the island that was already near him, regardless of the Ti Draugars blocking his way—he could certainly reach the island with a bit of boost, from his Primordial Step skill. He may need to rest a bit on the island, but that was about the only downside.
Charging his moonlight energy and kingly energy, his lower limbs overflowed with power.
One could even see the rush of power from Rex's skin.
Making a delicate step forward—Rex created a ripple of energy, that perated through the entire water's surface as the Ti Draugars around him slowed down imnsely. He felt his legs becoming stronger and stronger with the enhancent of his energies.
In that following instant, his body disappeared from the spot.
Swoosh!
Rex's speed underwent a significant change, sending him hurling forward like a bullet.
His rush didn't even budge the water underneath him.
Eyes fixed on the destination, Rex could already see the vibrant gleam from the item that he desired located at the center of the small island. Looking at the item directly, Rex could hear it talking back to him, asking him to be taken.
But as he was about to reach the small island, dozens of ters away, the light disappeared.
Splash!
Erging from the water, the mutated eel stood between Rex and the small island.
Its massive body completely blocked out the light from the Lotus of Lunar Heart.
Rex's eyes widened as he was so close to getting what he wanted—but no matter how close he got to the Lotus of Lunar Heart, it was not counted, if he couldn't get his hands on it. Just like that, his mont of hope was vanquished.
ROAR!!
Following that, the mutated eel opened its maw and unleashed a thunderous roar.
A roar that shook the entire place violently.
Upon taking the full brunt of the roar, Rex could feel his body stiffening up—he was frozen in place and couldn't move a muscle. Not stopping at that, the mutated eel, made its move as it dived back into the water.
Expecting to be eaten again, Rex was shocked to see it going back to the water.
He thought that the mutated eel had a change of heart.
But he was dead wrong as he saw as it dived—it bent its tail to the other side like a slingshot before whipping Rex with it. Not being able to defend himself, Rex was swatted away with an arc of blood trailing behind him.
Crash!!
Rex was hurled so far away before he crashed onto the rough ground, rolling non-stop.
He kept going, and when he did stop, he coughed a mouthful of blood.
Looking around the place to see where he was—he realized that he was swatted back to the land once again, away from the water. At this realization—Rex pounded the ground, annoyed that he was swatted back to the start again.
Climbing back to his feet, he ran back to the water and stopped at the edge.
Naturally, he still wants to get the Lotus of Lunar Heart right now.
Dealing with one mutated eel to reach the small island shouldn't be a problem for him, and he was going to try while his Banished Dark Moon Order skill was still active. But—as soon as he got to the edge, he made an abrupt stop.
Roar!!

In the distance, Rex could see the mutated eel swimming around the small island.
But what made him stop was the fact that the other mutated eel had already recovered from the Banished Field—its abilities instantly ca back. Rex could feel its aura even from afar, it would be foolish of him to get back inside again.
Not only would he be struggling against them, his stamina was running on empty right now.

Rex panted heavily as he went to his knees, completely exhausted.
On top of being forced to fight underwater—while holding his breath—he used his Primordial Step skill two tis already, and he couldn't use it anymore, without risking being completely immobile.
He also has to bear the risk of the Banished Dark Moon Order skill deactivating mid-fight.
Because if he chose to fight again, it wouldn't end in a few minutes.
"Yeah..." He exhaled roughly—before falling backward—lying on the ground. "It'll be stupid of to go further than this. I guess I'll have to settle on only knowing the location of the Lotus of Lunar Heart"
Maybe when he got a lot stronger then he would co back and try again.
As far as he's concerned, he only managed to hurt the mutated eels once.
It was also thanks to the help of the Banished Field—that nullified all abilities, of the mutated eel. Had it not been for that, he wouldn't be able to deal any damage. Luck also played a part there as he was able to attack the mutated eel from the inside.
Rex doubted that the mutated eel would make the sa mistake again.
Instead of swallowing him—next ti, it might decide to chew on Rex instead.
"At the very least fighting those things gave the chance to learn about the Banished Dark Moon Persona—and how its powers work," Rex stared at the sky, resting while still remaining alert. "Also, I got the chance to scan it..."

Earlier during the fight against the mutated falcon—Rex briefly saw a notification saying that the mutated falcon—is a great candidate, for devouring. That notification reminds him of the Devour chances that he still hadn't used.
Because of the Fifthborn's shenanigans, he forgot about such an important thing.
However, now that he rembered about it, he decided to focus on it.
Other than cultivating his King Mark and elental powers, this would also help him.
Checking the notification, Rex ponders back to the earlier fight.
"Hmm... the Impenetrable Eldritch Skin is straightforward—its skin is very hard. Overpower— should be the roar that it used against , when I was about to get to the island that sunned in place. Underwater Carnage...? I do not know about that. And for the last one—Graviton Pull should be what generated the pulling effect,"
Sweeping the entire available skills, he identified each skill that he could devour.
But amongst them, nothing really catches his eye.
Rex sat up after a brief break to catch his breath before he looked skywards, "Now I am quite curious, as to what makes the System state, that the mutated falcon is suitable for devouring—what kind of skill does it have?"
At the top of his head, Rex could only rember being slapped around by that bird.
In addition, it has several movent skills that amplify its speed.
One skill that was an offensive one was the skill it used when it descended from the sky.
"I don't really know, but maybe I'll scan it when I encounter it again" Rex mused.
Just as he was about to head back to the others, however, his eyes flared open when he got a brilliant idea. A brilliant idea to get to the small island and get the Lotus of the Lunar Heart, and that idea was none other than the mutated falcon or eagle.
"Using one of those birds to cross the lake, that's not a bad idea..." Rex mused with a smile.
A mont later.
Rex regrouped back with the assault team who was still scouting the area.
Many of them, needed to rest under the protection of his red force—but other than that, the assault team was doing fine. Rex did not forget to tell them the new objective—to locate the mutated falcon or eagle.
He was going to use them to cross the lake.
Who knows? Maybe he would gain another mount aside from Delta.
"I'll na it Epsilon or maybe Gamma? No, I think Zeta is a good na for a bird" Rex mused, already preparing a na, for them. Despite not knowing how to subdue them, properly, Rex was not going to let that stop him.
If all things fail, there are still the old ways of beating it to submission.
But he needed to move fast though—it'd be better if he could fight the mutated birds, while his Banished Dark Moon Persona form was still active, "Resting ti is up, let's move. I want either of those two birds, and I want it now"
