Viewing being berserk as a tool or even a skill that he could use goes completely away from his train of thought up to this point. He had dealt with the hatred for Supernaturals inside of him so he should've had a more open mind.
His experiences of going berserk were untasteful.
And because of that—he branded going berserk as sothing bad when it wasn't the case.
It was bad if the situation was not right but going berserk in a situation like this was perfect.
Now, the proof that going berserk could be a good thing was in front of him.
Brassik's carcass sprawled at the center of the crater, its long body was still twitching—and moving but the grim reaper had already taken its soul. Even the remaining rock snakes were already running away in fear.
Only a handful of them were left, the Ashen Assassins should be able to take care of them.
Rex crawled to the carcass through his stiffening body.
His blood veins were hardening, turning into stones, causing a great deal of pain but he was suffering more from the itch—and burn in his throat. Rex used his sharp claws to scratch his neck, his claws dug into his skin and drew blood from how sharp they were.
But that didn't stop him as the itch and burn were overwhelming him.
Despite already clawing his neck, he couldn't reach the spot where it mattered the most.
And it was driving him crazy!
I need to eat... at, organs, I don't care anymore!
Climbing the carcass, he sat on his knees strugglingly, his breaths were heavy.
Looking at the massive slab of at in front of him, Rex flexed his hand and dug inside with his claws, taking out chunks of flesh. His eyes stared at the bloodied chunk of at—on his hand, contemplating through his anger-infused mind.
Subconsciously, he knew that there was no going back once he ate this.
However, that hesitation was completely wiped off, when the parchnt from the Angels not too long ago crossed his mind. Rex knew the Fourthborn would be tenth-rank realm strong— and he needed to be stronger before he appeared.
Now, the Angels for so reason were also aiming at him.
Void is also in the tenth-rank realm, the pressure coming from them was real.
Rex needed to get stronger faster no matter what.
Once that settled in his mind, he opened his mouth and took a big bite from the at.
A burst of flavor exploded inside his mouth, causing Rex's eyes to open wide open, he could feel a gentle and soft breeze massaging his tastebuds—as soon as he took a bite. Rex knew that the taste of raw at changed once he beca a Werewolf.
Normal food beca less tasty and raw at beca incredibly flavorful.
In this case, Brassik's at was tender and filled with a sweet tang.
Such good food gave him goosebumps.
Rex felt like this sensation was akin to back when he ate good food, after a very long ti of eating bland food from the military kitchen. And once he recovered he imdiately began to devour the carcass whole-heartedly.
Each bite was a delicacy, the taste of a pseudo-tenth-rank realm Order Beast is magical.

Countless notifications flooded his vision—to be exact, one notification appeared with each bite he took. But Rex wasn't concerned about that—he was more concerned about the fact, that the itch and burn were finally being satiated.
He needed to devour raw at to satiate these sensations.
Due to his massive stature, blessed by the Demon Moon's power, eating the carcass did not take long at all. Rex finished the lower half of the carcass in re minutes—and he was now going to continue eating the upper half.
As he devoured more, his mind beca clearer.
Other than obtaining more exp, he also recovered his sanity by devouring this carcass.
Now he experienced first-hand the magic of devouring.
However, as he was about to continue, he stopped at the sight of a glowing sphere.
It was located near the carcass' head, and it was radiant on the inside.
Upon seeing this, Rex grabbed the upper half of the carcass' insides and ripped it in half.
A glowing deep brown sphere fell to the ground—with a light thud, the sphere was so robust and hot that it was sinking to the ground. Rex grabbed it—before it could fall into the earth's crust and inspected it.
"An Elental Order... An Earth Elental Order" Rex smiled, his fangs poking out.
Rex knew that Order Beasts—were mutated animals that were able to evolve their core into this beautiful sphere. It contained so much mana that it felt heavy in his hand even with the current strength he commands.
Not to ntion, the Earth Elental Order was retaliating fiercely.
Its mana slowly enveloped Rex's hand into rock.
Had it not been for the Demon Moon that amplified everything about him, Rex would be in a lot of trouble, the Earth Elental Order would've turned his entire arm into a rock, and who knows if it stopped only at that.
Perhaps, if Rex let it, his entire body would be turned into a rock.
But he didn't want to find out.
