Rex's blood ran cold.
He rembered that the Voidal Prince could resurrect.
It was practically unkillable, as even Princess Davina couldn't kill it permanently.
Earlier, he was able to take it down by using all of the reservoir from the Invincible II item that was still inside him, but it didn't take it down permanently. Considering that he got the exp from killing it, Rex thought that it was dead for good.
But it wasn't.
However, the Voidal Prince wasn't the main problem right now.
Sothing more dangerous appeared.
Is that… the Voidal Monarch?
Rex's breath was caught in his throat as he stared at the dark, shadowy figure that erged from inside the dragon snake. It seeped out of the dragon snake's body like a ghost and is now facing him with all the malice it possesses.
It doesn't have an actual body.
Only a mass of shadow gathering into one as if its entire body were made of dark smoke.
Located where its face was supposed to be was a pristine white mask shaped like a serpent, exposing only two embers behind it, which should be its eyes. And when it was fully out of the dragon snake, its form was fully exposed.
A towering creature that seed extrely tall, even with the distance between them.
Its entire body was covered in an ink-black cloak that seed to be made by the essence of darkness itself.
Rex sweated profusely, but he tried to remain composed.
I can't back down. I can't show any weakness.
Voidal Monarch, unlike its subordinates, can be as intelligent as people or perhaps even more.
So, Rex has to treat it with great caution.
He has to treat it as if he were facing soone extrely intelligent.
Since he barged into the storm and was even able to kill the Voidal Prince with one hit, that showed a level of confidence in the Voidal Monarch's eyes. It might even look at Rex as an equal, soone who hides his strength behind his asly aura.
Going back right now would only complicate things.
Rex needs to stand his ground.
For a tense mont, the Voidal Monarch stared at Rex while the Voidal Prince began to resurrect.
Then, it tilted its head nacingly.
