When Secretary Gao led Lin Hao into a luxurious private room, inside was a beautiful woman in a white dress, approximately in her twenties, similar in age to Lu Xiaodan.

Secretary Gao smiled as he introduced, "County Magistrate Lin, this is my brother's daughter, Gao Siya, who has just graduated from Lingnan University."

"Alright, I believe you. That Xu Yao kicked you, you weren't hurt, right?" Li Jingyi inquired with concern.
"Of course, I'm not injured. It's just a bit sore from sitting down hard." Lin Hao responded with a pained expression.
"Hahaha... Serves you right!" Li Jingyi cursed jokingly.
"Sis, how about, when I get back, you give a rub?" Lin Hao grinned mischievously.
"Get lost! You silly boy, how's the work going?" Li Jingyi brought the topic back on track.
"Things went smoothly. Both secretaries agreed to lend us the indicators, but they also made so conditions." Lin Hao responded.
"I knew it wouldn't be that simple. Tell , what did they request?" Li Jingyi asked seriously.
"Secretary Tong of Fuyang County proposed that we jointly construct the link road between our two counties to enhance economic and trade interactions. That road won't cost much, and we intend to do so anyway, so I agreed.
