"Can we go back to sleep now?" Lin Tian yawned tiredly.
"Yes!" Shishi started the car and left the police station.
Before the car had driven a hundred ters away, Lin Tian's stomach suddenly growled loudly.
"Didn't eat anything tonight?" Shishi glanced at him from the corner of her eye.
"No, I was buying things all the ti, and after that, I went straight to the office!"
"There was no ti to eat anything!" Lin Tian said, yawning again.
Hearing this, Shishi floored the gas pedal. "Then let take you to get sothing to eat first, and then we can go back to sleep!"
"No need!" Lin Tian was a bit hungry, but for a man, skipping a al is no big deal; he could handle it.
Unfortunately, Shishi ignored him and drove straight to find a place to eat.
"Miss Bai, don't bother looking; isn't there a barbecue stand by the road?" Lin Tian pointed to a shop through the windshield and said, "Let's just grab a quick bite there!"
"Barbecue isn't great, is it?" Shishi wavered. She had never eaten at a street vendor before, so she had a bias against roadside barbecues.
"What's wrong with it? The taste is amazing!" Lin Tian said, slling the aroma of grilled lamb through the open car window and drooling.
"Alright, let's have that!" Shishi reluctantly agreed; she initially wanted to find a fast-food place,
but since Lin Tian wanted it, they'd go for it.
Parking by the roadside, the two got out of the car. It was already past midnight, yet the barbecue stand was still bustling.
They sat at a small table by the street, and a middle-aged woman with a full smile ca over with a nu, saying, "What would you like to eat?"
Lin Tian glanced at the nu: "A portion of lamb skewers, two lamb kidneys, two lamb testicles, and two bottles of beer?"
"Miss Bai, will you have a drink?" Lin Tian took his eyes off the nu and looked at Shishi.
"Drink or not?" Shishi couldn't decide.
After all, she was driving, and the rule is don't drink and drive, don't drive if you've been drinking.
Lin Tian seed to understand Shishi's dilemma and decided for her, "Just have one bottle, one bottle's fine!"
"Just one bottle, okay?" Shishi said firmly.
"Anything else you want to eat?" Lin Tian handed the nu to Shishi.
Shishi took the nu and ordered a portion of crayfish.
"Is that enough? Maybe we should add two lamb loins as well?" Lin Tian thought their order was a bit light.
"You ordered two kidneys, two testicles, and now you want lamb loins as well!" Shishi said in a teasing tone, "Are you feeling weak or sothing?"
Even the middle-aged woman eyed Lin Tian with a changed look, not to ntion Shishi.
"I'm not eating all of it by myself, aren't you having any?" Lin Tian sensed the odd looks from the two won and quickly clarified.
"I ordered two for you too!"
"I don't eat kidneys!" Shishi shook her head in disdain.
"You don't eat kidneys, so what do you eat?" Lin Tian asked completely innocently, not realizing the innuendo.
"I don't like to eat any kind of kidney!" A blush crept up Shishi's cheeks, and she spoke softly.
"Eating more kidneys like these is good for you. Haven't you heard that what you eat nourishes what matches it?" Lin Tian said in a preachy tone as if he were a teacher.
"What nourishes what?" Shishi retorted, "Then tell , what should I eat to nourish what?"
"Eating lamb kidney nourishes..." Lin Tian faltered.
He suddenly rembered Shishi is a woman, and she doesn't have one...
"Sorry!" Lin Tian laughed awkwardly and said to the middle-aged woman, "Make it one each. I'll eat them myself!"
After ordering, the middle-aged woman left, and Lin Tian took out a cigarette and put it in his mouth.
He enjoyed the quiet mont under the moonlight.
In the long wait, four people suddenly arrived at the empty table next to them—a bald middle-aged man and three young guys with dyed hair, instantly giving off a sketchy vibe.
"Big brother, it's my treat today. Order whatever you want!" The self-proclaid big brother tossed a small briefcase on the table with bravado.
"Madam, eight lamb loins, a bunch of lamb skewers, so grilled leeks, and a case of beer!"
"Hurry up, the bros are starving!" the young man with yellow hair shouted with a cigarette in his mouth.
"Big brother, we heard you recently hooked a woman completely under your thumb, you're really sothing!" After ordering, the three young n started praising the big brother.
"Not every big brother can do this, but when it cos to won, that's where our big brother shines!"
"Who is our big brother? He's known as Sky Pillar, how could he not be great?" The red-haired guy complinted while handing a cigarette to the big brother.
"If we had half of the big brother's skills, would we ever be short of won?" The green-haired guy hurriedly took out a lighter to light a cigarette for the big brother.
"Damn!"
The big brother took a puff, "You guys have no idea, that woman's tough!"
"Wouldn't have thought she's so gentle on the outside, but once in bed, she's a completely different person. Luckily, I'm experienced, or I would have almost buckled under her!"
Listening to the boring conversation nearby, Lin Tian shook his head helplessly.
These days, honest working n can't find won, while those who boast find no shortage of them.
Is it that the skills to woo won have improved, or that won's intelligence has dropped?

"Here are your lamb skewers!" As Lin Tian was contemplating, the middle-aged woman brought over a platter.
Seeing the platter about to be placed in front of Lin Tian,
the self-proclaid big brother at the next table suddenly turned his head and said, "Madam, let us have that plate of lamb skewers first!"
"But... they were here first!"
The middle-aged woman was in a dilemma; doing business ans keeping peace and was afraid to offend these hooligans.
"But what, just serve them the next plate, it's the sa, isn't it?" The big brother's smile vanished and turned fierce.
"This..." The middle-aged woman's hand hovered, unsure whether to put the platter down or not.
"Co on, bro, let us have this one first, you can have the next one!" The big brother, seeing the woman not speaking, squinted at Lin Tian.
Lin Tian, who was hungry and waiting for the food to gorge on, didn't expect a bump in the road,
"What if I refuse?" With the odds against him, an average person would have caved, but this was Lin Tian.
"Are you sure?" Hearing this, the big brother shot up from his chair, and the three young n also stood up.
