His voice was firm, yet his words were heartfelt, knowing these children had already been through a lot. "Right now, what you need to think about is increasing your strength," he said as he placed a hand on each child’s shoulder, but when he did, his eyes widened. "Lao, you’ve reached the level of a master?!" he exclaid in shock.

When they were children and living alone, Lao often told Jo stories about mothers. A mother was soone who would do anything for their child. A mother was soone who protected her children. A mother was warm and loving. She would give her life for her children.
These were the stories Lao told Jo during their darkest monts. When they felt hunger or cold, when they felt lonely or sad; this was when Lao would tell Jo how wonderful it would be to have a mother, and they both dread of the day their mother would find them.
