She is obviously trying to shift the concept here.

The two little demons thought for a mont and nodded. Their mother treated them very well, and Mr. Zhang’s treatnt towards their mother could indeed be described by the words "honey-mouthed and dagger-hearted, treacherous and unfaithful".

Ning Xiaoxian sighed again and said: "Alas, she seems to be a beautiful mother who loves her children dearly, it’s a pity I can’t et her." She is also a seductive mother, but these words couldn’t be said aloud, as the little monsters felt their hearts touched and their eyes reddened. "Now that you two are motherless, do you plan to stay in Siping County for a lifeti? The rumors about demons here have already leaked; if you keep hiding, you will eventually be exposed."

This is her ultimate purpose: "Rather than that, why not co with to the west. We can look after each other on the road, and it would be so company." She spoke these words with great sincerity. Since last night and until today, the effect of the century-old ginseng has been slowly operating inside her, and at this mont her face is full of devoutness, seemingly radiant with a holy light that even stunned Bai Hong.

However, Bai Jing remained calm, upon hearing, he pulled Bai Hong aside, and the two little demons began to whisper secrets.

"I recognize that seed, and compared to it, the Golden Core Pill is simply trash. Do not get agitated, we will talk more about it once this matter here is resolved," while they were discussing with heads down, Changtian whispered in her ear, "Shi Jishan’s cultivation seems to be far less than Wo Tou, but she possesses many Magic Artifacts, so she might not lose to him in battle. In this battle, you have the chance to fish in troubled waters, but be careful about your own safety."

He is worried about her! Ning Xiaoxian felt a sweetness in her heart, and suddenly the secret of that seed didn’t seem so urgent anymore.

After the two little demons finished discussing, they turned around and ca back, saying, "Alright, we can go with you. But how will you help us take revenge? You must make it clear to us!"

Many children like to be stubborn, and these two were no exception. In fact, what they discussed just now was that once their great revenge is fulfilled, they would ditch her on the side. After all, they have no demon energy, and when the ti cos, they can hide in the wild – would cultivators really like to accompany her aimlessly searching through the mountains? As paynt, she could keep the two items on the table and save her own little life.

But how could their cunning plans escape Changtian’s notice? He told Ning Xiaoxian everything as it happened. She was annoyed in her heart: "I put so much effort and so many words to persuade you, and yet you plan to play tricks on behind my back! Well then, you two are the ones who refused the toast only to drink the forfeit, wait and see how I will deal with you!"

Thus, she replied: "Of course, there is a way. If you two would like a demonstration, first close your eyes, you must willing watch Sister perform."

Bai Jing looked at her suspiciously. She provoked: "What, are you afraid that a re mortal like might eat you or chop you up?"

This is their turf, and there are no cultivators looming around. The two little demons looked at each other, nodded, and closed their eyes.

Ning Xiaoxian placed her hands on their foreheads and asked, "Are you two willing to go with ?"

"Yes!"

The next instant, the three of them were in the God Demon Prison.

To bring living beings into the God Demon Prison, there are two pathways: one, willingly; two, powerless to retaliate.

The murderer of Siping County was finally imprisoned.

The events that followed need not be elaborated, as the two little demons saw Changtian and fell to the ground in fright, daring not to move.

Changtian paid no attention to the two little fellows on the ground, only gazing at her. After a long while, his lips curved into a slight smile: "You did very well." She indeed handled this sudden crisis impeccably, exceeding his expectations in many aspects.

This was the first ti he praised her face to face, and her heart began to thump wildly. Changtian’s smile was truly handso! His thin lips lifted perfectly with an arc, as if turning the usual stern chill in his eyes into a warm breeze of March, ruffling a pond of spring water and also her heart.

He watched her as she entered a petrified state with satisfaction, then turned to the two little demons and said, "Make a Heart Oath and you can be spared from death. But from now on, you must obey her commands, and any slight disobedience will have you experiencing all seventy-two tortures of Soul-searching and Soul-locking!"

He flicked his sleeves, and with a "ding ding," two small blood-red daggers landed in front of Bai Jing and Bai Hong.

Clearly, the twins had no better option. They looked at each other, grabbed the daggers, and swore: "I, Bai Hong (Bai Jing), hereby accept Ning Xiaoxian as my master, to comply with her commands through fire and water, never to betray. Her injury is my injury, her death is my death!" then, with a reverse grip, they plunged the daggers straight into their chests!

She closed her eyes just in ti.

Although she knew that no lives would be claid during the oath ceremony, the scene of a dagger plunging into the heart was still too horrifying, not suitable for her, an Earthling, to watch.

Strangely, the twin only groaned in pain, but the dagger in his chest silently and slowly dissolved, eventually disappearing completely into the air. Not only was there no blood on their chests, but even their clothes were not damaged.

"This ans the Blood Oath has been successfully established. Just command them, and they dare not disobey. As soon as you think it, their hearts will burst, and they will die," Lord Changtian said lazily, "Take them out. Since you’ve taken their things, you’ll have to find a way to kill Wo Tou." Although the two little demons made the Heart Oath, whether they are truly loyal or just pretending might be revealed at the critical mont.

They had already delayed too much ti, and had no idea how the fight in South County was progressing. She silently supported Shi Jishan in her heart: "You better hold on a bit longer, at least until I arrive." Actually, for her, neither side in the fight was good news; she would rather both sides suffer losses. Yet, if Shi Jishan won, he might escape, and Ning Xiaoxian would get nothing; but if Wo Tou won, she might still gain sothing from it.

The two little monsters left the God Demon Prison and led her southward.

She was not as fast as them, so Bai Hong gently took her arm, making Ning Xiaoxian feel much lighter.

This little guy also has so Divine Skills. Bai Hong smiled and said, "This is the Bat Demon’s Lifebound Technique called Wind Riding Skill, which can make oneself or others move faster."

The two little demons’ attitude towards her seed to have grown much friendlier. She wondered, "Don’t you two resent for trapping you and making you suffer a loss?"

To which Bai Jing shook his head vehently, "Sister Ning, if you had told us earlier that we would be following Lord Changtian, you wouldn’t have had to say so much."

"You know his identity?"

"Not really, but we can feel his incredibly powerful aura," Bai Hong interjected, "We, the Bat Demon Clan, are willing to follow demons more powerful than us, and Lord Changtian is the most terrifying, scariest great monster I’ve ever seen!" He did not know there were such things as Divine Beasts and just thought the man in black in Demon Prison was a giant demon.

The most terrifying, scariest great monster? Not only did Changtian, who was in Demon Prison, have a stern expression, but even Ning Xiaoxian couldn’t help but give a wry smile.

Alright, let’s just take it as a complint then.

On their journey south, they encountered many panic-stricken residents who were hurrying to escape. Ning Xiaoxian thought, it seems like we are getting close. She stopped an uncle to ask, and he only replied, "There is a demon to the south," before pulling back his sleeve and continuing to flee.

It seems the fight in South County isn’t over yet. The two demons reached the edge of the forest beside the Su River, and sure enough, two figures were fighting in the clearing. One figure was slender, naturally that was Ning Xiaoxian’s old acquaintance, Shi Jishan, and the other was evidently Wo Tou, whom she was seeing for the first ti.

This Wo Tou had already shown its true form, with a face like Duke of Thunder, more than seven feet tall, with a greyish-blue mbrane under its ribs and sharp claws on its hands that shimred with black light, suggesting it was not simply endowed with sleep-inducing poison. If Afu in the dark alley had caught Ning Xiaoxian faster than a galloping horse, Wo Tou’s speed in striking and moving was comparable to a fully powered Rolls-Royce Phantom.

Fortunately, its right arm was severed at the shoulder, and Wo Tou could only fight with Shi Jishan using its left arm, which seed very awkward; otherwise, the handso Shi would have been defeated long ago.

The current situation in the battle was exactly what Ning Xiaoxian hoped for. Shi Jishan, who was in the Early Stage of Foundation Establishnt, was already at a disadvantage and struggled under Wo Tou’s attacks. Thankfully, her solid foundation in Chaoyun Sect kept her from panicking too much, as it seed she could hold on a bit longer.

"Why doesn’t she use her sword to escape?" Ning Xiaoxian whispered quietly. They were twenty ters away from the battle, where one human and one demon were fiercely clashing, unable to hear the quiet whispers here.

Before Changtian could reply, Bai Jing preempted, "Her sword has blood on it." After a careful sniff, he added, "And it’s Black Dog Blood, which can break many Magic Artifacts! Her treasure sword has been tainted and lost its Divine Power, so it can’t fly."

Chilled by what she heard, Ning Xiaoxian realized that Black Dog Blood indeed had the power to disrupt Magic Artifacts. It seed that after the surprise attack on Wo Tou by several cultivators, it was well-prepared this ti. Changtian disdainfully added, "Black Dog Blood can only disrupt low-level Magic Artifacts, don’t consider it too useful."

She guessed right. After Wo Tou’s lair was raided the day before, it had lingered around the outskirts of Siping County without going far. It recognized that these were cultivators from Chaoyun Sect, not locals from the Chi Xiao Sect. A passing dragon always leaves, and it still had a chance to mingle in Siping County.

They say a cunning rabbit has three burrows. It also had a hideout on a small farm by the Xian Nan River, a secret location unknown to other mbers of the Bat Demon Clan. After getting injured, it fled here to recover and rest.

The Fu Bat Clan had strong recovery abilities; as long as it had enough ti to recuperate, aside from its arm, the other internal and external injuries could heal.
