Xi Yue cleared her throat and lightly touched her freshly bitten lip. Dodging the question, she said, “No, I wasn’t resting. I was cultivating just now and made a mistake, so it got a bit noisy. But it’s fine now, don’t worry, Dr. Wen. As for Weizhi, he went to Skyrise City—he’ll be back tomorrow.”
“That’s good to hear!” Dr. Wen walked toward the screen and said, “Now let’s light up the lamp? I have several questions to ask you.”
