Now reading: Chapter 1644 - 1649: Deviation from The King of Urban Mercenaries, a Urban novel by A pot of tea.

Lin Fei never expected that after all these years, Crane Mountain’s cultivation would beco even stronger. But why has Crane Mountain beco like this? Could it be...

"Deviation!"

Lin Fei imdiately thought of this issue and understood that Crane Mountain must have fallen into deviation; otherwise, how could it end up like this and not recognize him? Therefore, Lin Fei let go of Crane Mountain and, when Crane Mountain charged towards him, struck Crane Mountain’s chest with his palm.

Poof!

Crane Mountain spat out a mouthful of blood, his body like a cannonball shooting into the mountain, crashing into the mountain wall, creating a big hole.

Crash!

As Crane Mountain’s body stopped, he rushed towards Lin Fei again, but the outco was equally miserable, getting slapped down by Lin Fei and crashing into the river below.

Boom!

The riverwater shot up a giant column of water, splashing in the air, and before long, a rainbow appeared as Crane Mountain was directly struck into the riverbed by Lin Fei, taking a gulp of river water mixed with blood.

Crane Mountain finally felt clear-headed, his eyes bright and clear, looking around to see large fish below, so as big as a person, along with a giant turtle three ters long. However, these creatures avoided human hunting by hiding beneath the furthest back of the mountain wall.

At this mont, Crane Mountain stomped on the ground, his body shooting up like a popped marble, but what awaited him was Lin Fei’s fist.

"Damn it!" A loud curse sounded, making Lin Fei hesitate for a mont, looking at the flown-away Crane Mountain, wondering if he perhaps punched the wrong person. Could it be he’s regained consciousness?

Just as expected, Crane Mountain’s loud curse echoed from the mountain, "Lin Fei, you little brat, you dare hit ! I’ll fight you!"

Crane Mountain flew over, but Lin Fei didn’t even use any strength. After all, even though Crane Mountain’s cultivation reached the realm of the Three Immortals, it hadn’t reached the peak of Ancient Martial, so Lin Fei could easily overpower him.

Nevertheless, Crane Mountain didn’t know, charging towards Lin Fei, who simply pointed a finger, controlling the surrounding Heaven and Earth Qi to surge towards Crane Mountain, making it impossible for him to break through the force exerted by the flowing Heaven and Earth Qi.

Lin Fei watched Crane Mountain fixed in mid-air and withdrew his hand sullenly.

Crane Mountain coldly stared at Lin Fei, "Is this fun?"

Lin Fei chuckled, "Not really, but I’m helping you. You fell into deviation, and I’m hoping to wake you up."

Crane Mountain snorted coldly, "Trying to beat you is impossible, so whatever you say gets to pass!"

"How can that be, everything I said is true, not a single lie," Lin Fei said sincerely.

"Alright, fine. I didn’t expect you to beco so powerful now. Truly surprising," Crane Mountain said, looking at Lin Fei in awe. Despite not seeing him for a few days, Lin Fei improved significantly. If Crane Mountain was a genius, then Lin Fei must be a prodigy!

Lin Fei smiled, "Certain things happened that led to my current cultivation. By the way, what’s going on with you, how did you fall into deviation?"

Recalling Crane Mountain earlier, Lin Fei felt puzzled; such a person shouldn’t be so careless, right?

After all, Crane Mountain had cultivated twice; how could he make such a low-level mistake? Or is there another reason?

Upon hearing Lin Fei’s question, Crane Mountain sighed, "Ah! This is a long story. After losing to you, resentnt lingered in my heart, refusing to dissipate. Finally, a problem arose as I reached level nine of Ancient Martial, leading to an accidental deviation."

"You didn’t find a way to resolve this?" Lin Fei asked curiously.

"There’s no way to solve it; falling into deviation is like smoking or drug addiction, entirely beyond control. If you hadn’t awakened by hitting , I wouldn’t have snapped out of it," Crane Mountain said with lingering fear.

"See, you should thank . You even complained about earlier, and that’s your fault, right, Crane Mountain?" Lin Fei chid in.

Crane Mountain nodded, "This is indeed my fault, but you know I’m older, yet you still beat relentlessly! Isn’t this revenge? Be honest, is it?"

Lin Fei was taken aback, thinking for a second, maybe it was... Then he quickly flew away.

"Damn it! Boy, you wait for !"

The two of them arrived in the sky, sitting on the clouds. Crane Mountain asked, "Why have you co to find this ti?"

Lin Fei nodded, "I did co for sothing, but your current state isn’t good at all; deviation is really dangerous."

"Then what do you think I should do?" Crane Mountain asked, looking at Lin Fei, hoping he could provide a solution.

Lin Fei thought for a while, "There’s a way, but since you’ve fallen into deviation, why don’t you cultivate Demon Skill?"

"You have Demon Skill?" Crane Mountain looked at Lin Fei in surprise.

Lin Fei chuckled, "I originally cultivated Demon Skill, didn’t you know?"

"No wonder, kid. I wondered why you’re so tough, turns out you’ve taken the path of demonic cultivation, making you uncatchable!" Crane Mountain remarked.

Of course, Crane Mountain also understood that not everyone who chooses demonic cultivation becos powerful; it also depended on talent. Without talent, it might not be so fast either.

"The Ancient Martial World now practices two sets of cultivation techniques. One was built by Sect Leader Leng Daoqiu, the other by . Which one would you like to cultivate?" Lin Fei asked. His Demon Refinent Technique could not be given to Crane Mountain until its genuineness was confird.

Crane Mountain pondered, "That Sect Leader has such a righteous appearance, I can’t stand it. And your cultivation technique was built by a junior..."

"Then forget it, I don’t want you to practice it anyway."

"Hey, no, no, wait! I haven’t finished. Did I say I won’t practice? I said you’re a genius, of course, I want to cultivate yours." Crane Mountain quickly corrected himself, realizing he’s at a critical ti and can’t hold out much longer. He must find a way to free himself from the deviation state; otherwise, it’s over for his life.

Lin Fei smiled, "I must warn you first, not many people in the Ancient Martial World are practicing the technique I created, so if any issues occur, I won’t take responsibility."

"Ha! The fewer, the better; I don’t like blending in with them anyway. Quickly teach your cultivation technique, let see if it really is extraordinary."

Lin Fei nodded, then shared his cultivation technique with Crane Mountain, who closed his eyes to ditate on the technique, then suddenly opened them, looking at Lin Fei in amazent, "Seriously, kid, you’re aweso! This cultivation technique is really powerful!"
