Capítulo 1076: Chapter 1087: eting the Parents (Part 1)
At night, just before going to sleep, the two had just showered and were getting ready to rest. Upon hearing the news, Jian Anning was shocked, the towel she was using to dry her hair suddenly fell to the ground, and she was montarily stunned!
Although Yu Zexiao had ntioned before that he wanted to introduce her to his parents. Moreover, because his parents were away on a business trip, the eting had been postponed.
And, it’s not like she hadn’t t Shen Lanxiao and Yu Jingxi before. Not to ntion Yu Jingxi, but Shen Lanxiao got along with her quite harmoniously and even regretted that this girl wasn’t his son’s girlfriend!
But anyway, she had been introduced as Yu Zexiao’s assistant at that ti, which posed no issues. Yet now, with a change of identity, she can’t help but feel a bit wobbly in her knees!
“Wha-what, when did this happen? How co I, haven’t heard you ntion it?”
“Yes, it was just a phone call I received.” Yu Zexiao, with nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist, was drying his hair. Upon hearing Jian Anning’s words, he turned around with droplets of water still clinging to his hair strands hanging limply on his forehead, and through the curtain of water droplets, he glanced at Jian Anning beside him. She had been lazily sitting on the edge of the bed wearing a large bathrobe, right after her shower, but now was suddenly stunned, not even noticing one side of the robe slipping off onto the ground, exposing half of her bright, jade-like body!
“Z-Zexiao, are we going to, tomorrow night…”
Usually so composed and sensible, Jian Anning was actually stuttering now! Evidently, facing the prospect of eting her future in-laws, she was totally overwheld!
Seeing Jian Anning’s dazed look, Yu Zexiao knew she was nervous about eting his parents.
So, he chuckled and nodded, saying, “No, my mom just called saying they’ll be back by noon tomorrow, and we’ll go pick them up at the airport!”
“Ah? No…noon?” Why has the ti been moved up? Jian Anning was almost in tears.
She’s just really nervous!
“I-Is what I’m wearing okay? Should I prepare in advance?”
Suddenly, she stood up, sowhat flustered and pacing back and forth. As she moved, the towel draped around her fell to the ground, but she was entirely oblivious.
Watching her supple and soft figure exposed to the air, and due to the recent shower, her whole body glowed with a faint pink. Perhaps, because of the recent “nourishnt” from him, she appeared like a sweet, ripe peach, exuding a fullness reminiscent of mature fruit that made one—want to take a bite!
However, this luscious and mature appearance, combined with her sowhat flustered and helpless expression at this mont, was rather amusing!
“It’s not like you haven’t t my parents before, what are you worried about?” Yu Zexiao said, suddenly thinking of sothing, “Are you worried my dad will be stern with you?”
No, I’m just scared to et the two of them! After all, they are his parents!
And she, it’s the first ti she’ll be appearing in front of them as the “future daughter-in-law.”
“Sh-should I dress up formally? Is it unsuitable if I dress too casually?” While pondering, she suddenly stood up, “No, I need to go change my clothes!”
