Yu Zexiao felt what it’s like to shoot himself in the foot, feeling both angry and helpless as his father added more to it. Yet, Jian Anning took his hand and laughed, "Actually, even though it’s selfish, I feel that Zexiao is wonderful like this."
The elders of the Yu family looked at her in puzzlent. Although they adored their child, they knew Yu Zexiao had a bad temper, was a neat freak, and would often fly off the handle — what’s so good about that?
Jian Anning had her reasoning: "Zexiao has a cleanliness obsession, so he’s not interested in the won who throw themselves at him. "What are you talking about, clearly I’m the one who relies on you more." Yu Zexiao also chuckled, and the two didn’t speak further, rely holding each other’s hands tightly.
In a single glance, it seed to convey more than a thousand words, with deep emotions rising between them. It left the four adults across from them wondering what to say.
They didn’t have any issues with the family’s social standing; the reason they questioned Jian Anning was just to know more about her family circumstances.
